This is rather deceitful as it appears to be a new work on Cleopatra, but in reality it's just a reprint primarily of the Jacob Abbot 1901 biography, along with extracts from Strabo, Josephius, Appias and Pliny.
So it doesn't include any modern scholar input, apart from a brief discussion at the beginning by the Editor.
So if you want a reprint of all the ancient sources that mention Cleopatra, this is your book. If you want something that benefits from the last 100+ years of research into Cleopatra, this ain't it.
Great info in cleopatra but I stopped at page 173. She does and then the references and further info come in. I’m no historian or writer but the title is “Queen Cleopatra” stop at her death and create another writings of after her 🤷🏼♀️
