This is the 5th book in The Serenity Mountain Series, and my favorite of them all. You need to read books 1-3 in order, it helps immensely to read 4 and 5 in order, but you can fill in most of the basic plot without.
While reading books 1-4, I wondered more about Samantha. She was so automatically caring and giving, that I knew I wanted to know more (even more, even before I knew she had a book). LJ is so adorable and I just ache for Whiskey.
I am not familiar with being a widow or a military spouse, but as someone looking in, I thought this book was very tasteful and brought awareness to some points of PTSD that I was not aware of. I thought it was handled well and really spoke to the need for support and timing for everything to come to fruition.
I received a free copy of this book via Cassie Colton and am voluntarily leaving a review.
