This is all a prequel to Kingdom Come.

Gog turns Thunderman into Magog. Supes and Bats are put in the Catacombs as prisoners. They meet Metron who tells them Gog’s story.

Good build up issue. We knew Supes and Bats couldn't stop all those heroes so they did get kidnapped but the Superman/Batman of this Kingdom Come Universe aren't as dumb as others have thought. Learning the history of Gog, things about to get interesting.
