Wow a book written by someone like me for some like me. I found this book so insightful into a challenging phase of my life. This really helps me understand more of what is going on and how to navigate the rocking waters hopefully in a more steady ship. I adored Niki's style and am totally looking forward to reading her other books. I have been recommending this book to all my other friends! All woman should read this regardless of age to help prepare us for a topic that is only now starting to be talked about openly. Life long fan here!

This is a great guide, especially for Kiwi midlife women, but anyone would get something out of it. I really wanted to love this book. I liked it a lot but I didn't love it. The first chapter really spoke to me but it was a bit of a slog though the same old diet and exercise advice. The chapter on sex was refreshing and I liked some of the aesthetic wisdom in later chapters. All in all, there is nothing new here but it doesn't hurt to read this book as a good reminder of what to do and to know you are not alone in this time of life.

It's so great reading about what is going to happen to me in 30 years and what has happened to my Mom and grandmothers. The book looks quite thick but that's mainly because the paper used is quite heavy. Breezed through it. Not so relevant for me right now but good stuff to know.

Great reading. Clear, concise 'no-nonsense or hype' approach to wellness as we age. One to keep on the bookshelf and refer back to regularly. Lots of good sensible advice and guidelines to help figure out our next stage of life. There's also some beautifully written, inspiring words which can make us feel we are not alone as we try to figure out 'what next' but also reassure us that there IS more to come - and we can chose what that is.
