He'll do whatever it takes to claim this little angel…even if it means turning his entire life upside down.
Grant Lily Tremaine is the prettiest little angel I've ever seen. Her innocence calls to me like nothing else ever has. She's supposed to be my assistant. I want her to be my world. I probably shouldn't have threatened to fire her five minutes after I met her. And I definitely shouldn't be thinking about planting my kid in her. Except I did. I am. And not a thing in this world is going to stop me.
Lily Grant Davis has fired more assistants in the last month than I have fingers…including his sister. But that's not going to stop me from doing what I was hired to do. Or so I tell myself. I didn't plan on him being so hot and bossy. I also didn't plan on calling him a rude jerk five minutes after I met him. And I definitely didn't mean to fall in love with him. Oh, boy. This is not at all what I expected.
Warning When this older alpha male meets his innocent younger woman, he falls like a ton of bricks. Now he just has to convince her to fall too. This was the last book in the Bride Series. It follows the story of Grant (from th previous book in series) and his new assistant Lily. It is an insta-love/insta-lust age gap. Very quick read that can be devoured in a couple of hours. Hot and spicy with a virgin heroine.
I highly recommend this series. Hot, alpha men that are so possessive. Best to read the entire series as the characters interlap.
The last book in this bride series and its pretty steamy and yummy.
We met Grant in a past book as being a older protective brother. Now he still a workaholic and grumpy since his sister is offically married and gone. Enter his new assistant Lily and in 2.5 seconds he's fallen head over heels and fired her because he can't work with her. 🤣🤣🤣 that doesnt last when Lily calls him a rude jerk and doesn't stand his rudeness. But out of fear he might lose his girl or worse her living on the street has Grant making sure she's around him. But they do have tiny drama dealing with her jerk of a uncle. Beside that this couple is so cute and fun.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, sexy time, slight secondary character, virgin gal and no manwhore and celibate 2 years.

Stars: 5 Length: Novella POV: Dual Series: His Bride Series (Stand Alone but Connected) Ending: HEA Re-read? Yes
”She watches me for a moment, her expression indecipherable and then she gives me a shy little smile that hits me right in the stomach. My stomach muscles actually fucking clench, heat blasting through me in a wave. Jesus, the things I want to do to this girl.”
I finally get to read Grant and Lily’s story. I wish that I had gone into Nichole Rose reading all her series in order but I just went in all Willy nilly. I don’t think it detracted from her amazing stories but every once in awhile I get a surprise like this one. I’ve already read through the entire Love on the Clock series and had NO CLUE that Grant was Sierras’s brother, even after I read her and Dane’s book. So that obliviousness gave me a laugh.
” I've been a lot of things in my life, but I've never been a hypocrite. I think she's about to turn me into one though…because if Dane is too old for my sister, this little angel is definitely too young for me. But I already know that isn't going to stop me from claiming her.”
Anyway, this was a great ending to the His Bride series and start to the Love on the Clock series. Grant is a great alpha, possessive a hero. I thought I might be a little annoyed by Lily because I feel she was just super naive and trying too hard with her little retro dresses. Of course, Ms. Rose knows how to write a heroine and I thought she was fine. If you love an older alpha chasing after the girl of his dreams you’ll love this one. Also, I must mention that it was so steamy it was nuts! Just read the thing!

Aww, Sienna’s big brother Grant finally gets his lady! We met him back in book #3 when Sienna ran off to Vegas and married his best friend, Dane. We saw that Grant had a wife in the epilogue so I was excited to read his book.
Maybe I was a bit too excited for it because this wasn’t everything that I wanted it to be. Yeah it was cute and all but I wasn’t feeling his connection with Lily at the beginning. I get all of these books are super insta-love but usually I can kinda get behind them. This one was just meh when they met.
I still liked it toward the end though. Plus there’s a bit of an age gap which I always love. Lily is 19 and Grant is 32. Lily is a virgin, Grant hasn’t been with anyone for over 2 years.
We also get a bunch of names that I recognized. I had to go back and double check and yep! A bunch of these characters have their own books in the Love On the Clock series. Pretty sure Grant and Lily are mentioned in those books once or twice at least. There was Jason and Miranda (book 1), Lauren (book 2), and then Bryant (book 4). I kneeeew it!!
So yeah. This was a decent read, just not my fave in this series.
Quick, insta-love read that was enjoyable enough but not as good as The Billionaire's Big Bold Weakness. There's an age gap as well but not as large a difference as I was expecting.
I absolutely loved this book and so far im very much loving this authors books! It checks off all the yummy bits: growly, dominant alpha hero who is possessive and obsessed with his woman. And a sweet, innocent and shy heroine who brings the big guy to his knees. SWOOON!!!
And this was the cherry on top (no pun intended...even tho there’s some delicious cherry popping the hero does with reverence and intensity!)
Lily needs to find a job or she’ll be out on the street. She’s been warned that grant is a bear, driving away every assistant he’s had since his sister left.
But when he sees her, he’s smitten and there’s nothing he won’t do for her—except let her get away.
This has an awesome HEA with epilogue, absolutely no cheating, a celibate hero and a virgin heroine who belongs ONLY to the hero, gives him the gift of claiming.
Lily Tremaine has gotten a job working for Grant Davis who has a reputation for firing his assistant before the end of the day. When Grant though sees Lily, he knows she is meant to be his. Grant decides to woo Lily in the only way he knows how, by exuding his alpha male tendencies.
This was a fun quickie. If you are looking for a book with office romance, innocent heroine and alpha male this is the one to pick up.
Loved It! I loved reading this story. I enjoyed all the details and vivid descriptions. I was laughing during their first phone call, before the first meeting. Throughout the story, there were things just made me laugh. The story wasn’t all fun and laughter, but it made the happy more important. I enjoyed their falling in love, and the epilogue had me laughing again. I do love a happily ever after!
sickly sweet novella, fairy tale plot. The h is teenager, will inherit millions in a couple of years, forced' to work for a living, by her mean uncle who kicked her out of her home. She's temping for grumpy older H, and he falls for her at first sight. So they get it on, and as in all fairy tales, the uncle can't manage the business he's stolen, and the H teaches him a lesson. So in this fairy tale world, everyone gets what they deserves. Just OK.
I thoroughly enjoyed Grant finding his happily ever after. I hated seeing him so unhappy in his sister’s story. And I loved getting to check in with Dane and Sienna. Lily is an absolute delight and Grant and Lily are just a perfect match!
This was a sweet and fun story to read. The young sassy Lily that wrapped the grumpy boss Grant around her finger🤣 They instantly fell for each other.... but Grant kind of butchered it in the fist minute with his grumpy attitude. Insta love, a bit of groveling 😉, sweet, steamy and safe with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍😍
5 stars Grant is having a bad year, he is still hurting over not realizing his sister was in love with his best friend. He knows he didn’t handle the situation correctly and hurt both of them. Now he’s a grumpy bear at work and his employees are not feeling the love from him. Since his sister was his admin and he “fires” her, he has not been able to find a capable replacement. Lily is going to be homeless soon, her uncle who inherited the house she grew up in is tossing her out. From Lily’s grandma, he got the business, a law firm, and house, Lily got millions of dollars, but she can’t access until she’s older. A temp agency places Lily as Grant’s admin. (She was her grandma’s admin.) Grant takes one look at beautiful innocent Lily and is instantly obsessed with her. They start off on the wrong foot, but Lily really needs the job and Grant is not going to let her go, so she stays and he offers the job to her. Lily feels bad for all the turmoil Grant has gone through, she wants to help his relationship with his sister and his other employees. Plus she is very much attracted to him. Not able to fight their attraction they give into lots of hot sexy times. Little more drama with the uncle, Grant protects her and they have their happily ever after! Cute epilogue with babies and a reconciled relationship with his sister and best friend. Nichole is a new to me author, I loved her writing style. Have already downloaded more of her books.

When Lily went to work for Grant she was one and done! This book is a virgin falling for an older guy and dealing with family baggage at the young age of eighteen.
2.5 stars? This was not great. He was attracted to her, even when he thought she was too young to be legal, which is a huge "yech" for me. He called her "little girl" a LOT.🤢 I don't want to "yuck anyone's yum" but it felt very uncomfortable. I kept reading because she was 19, and the insta-soulmate (really, with everyone she meets) was just bonkers enough to keep me going.
The writing was not great. The first part felt like it was written by a spunky soccer mom in a writing style popular in the 90's that I refer to as "Hey Mr. Sassy Pants". Something my 70 year old mother would think was "a kick". Later, it falls into a more familiar style, consistent with a typical, modern Kindle Unlimited romance.
I felt like I missed a whole book about his sister. They talked about the sister again and again and again, re-explaining her situation. I got it the first 5 times you mentioned that she married your best friend after years of pining for him.
I also hated that when she cried and wanted him to leave her alone when she felt betrayed by him, he ignored her wishes, physically picked her up, and laughed at her valid anger, thinking about how "cute" it was that she was sassy.
SPOILER for epilogue past here:
They have been together 5 years, have 5 kids, including a 4 month old, AND she's already pregnant again? YIKES! Poor girl's body must be JACKED UP.
Perfect quick read instalove novella !!! I loved this book! Was happy to see Grant dealing with the consequences of his reaction to his sister and best friend in last book. He’s grumpy and lonely because he reacted badly to his sister and best friend getting together behind his back but also more angry at himself than anything for prioritizing work too much that he didn’t see what his sister was dealing with and the true feelings of his best friend.
But enter 19yo sassy little spitfire, Lily, and he quickly (like not even 24 hours!!! 😭) decides to stop mopping and turn his priorities around!!! Lily was adorable - she was the standard innocent (read: virgin) that you’re used to if you’ve read other novellas in this series. But she also quickly stands up for herself to grumpy boss and has no problem being unapologetically herself.
This is definitely instalove so if that’s not your thing you won’t like. But imo - instalove is just perfect when you want a quick read. Once again this author gives us the sweetest love confession and “this is forever” speech from a MC and just makes me smile 🥰
My only reason for giving this 4⭐️ instead of 5 is same as Dane and Sienna’s book - we don’t get a *finding out she’s pregnant scene* just the family scenes in time jump in the epilogue (I know it’s a short novella but I’d love that scene!!)
Unfortunately, I am not interested in women who act like children and relationships where the man seems interested in her becuase of her childlike nature. I could have changed her age to 12 and the story would still make sense (except for her job). As a writer myself, I hate giving negative feedback but sometimes I feel compelled. I only made it 35% through the book before I just couldn't take it. If you gwndee-swap the book you'll see how wierd the age of the character feels and how she is written as a dumb naive blonde. It also will point out how sexist it is. I don't expect romance books to be without some cultural sexism but the woman doesn't have to be stupid naive and super young mentally and physically for it to be a Dom/Sub realtionship. I wish this author the best and hope that they are reading frequently to get more inspiration and undeerstandinf of her genre.
OMG! This one is awesome! Wonderful quick read with an amazing HEA!
Lily meets Grant when she is hired through a temp service as an executive assistant for him. When Lily gets the lines on the phone mixed up she goes off on Grant. Lily didn’t realize she was talking to Grant. At first Grant doesn’t want Lily working for him, but Lily stands her ground. Lily is about to be homeless she needs this job. Lily feistiness has Grant wanting to hire her. When Grant takes her out on a date he’s blown away by her. When Grant sister Sienna invites Lilly to Grant’s birthday dinner Lily knows she has fallen for him. Lily has been left an inheritance from her grandmother. Lily‘s uncle kicked her out of their family home. Grant wants to protect Lily at all costs. Grant find out a few secrets our uncle is keeping. Lillys uncle was given a law firm but now he is ruining it. Grant will do anything he can to protect Lily. Lily and Grant have an amazing HEA!
His Blushing Bride is the story of Grant and Lily.
Grant is the boss and she is hired to be his PA. When he meets her, she is unconsciously talking to him on the phone. So basically she doesn't know it's her boss on her first day. He's hooked just by hearing her voice and she tells him to stop being rude and such a jerk and from then on their relationship has been filled with hot moments of mind-blowing sex and dates. They first go out on a date the day before his birthday but they don't sleep together. Grant wants her bad but he feels like he has to have her trust first in order to make love to her and be with her for the rest of his life. On his birthday the balloon scene made me laugh my ass off and the glitter as well and what came after was hot asf. Um yh they have 4 kids and another on the way.
Lily is being in for personal assistant to Grant, CEO. He is a challenge from their first encounter. He's loud, crude and demanding. She does not tolerate his behavior and calls him on it. She's convinced he is going to fire her and he has such a strong attraction for her that it creates an unexpected beginning to their beginning. Their chemistry is off the charts from their first meeting. He is determined to win her affection. He wants her to know the good man he use to be and starts the day he meets her. She sees past his rude behavior and encourages his efforts. This is a good story with great chemistry, strong characters and creative twists and turns. Enjoy.
Grant Davis has been in a funk ever since his best friend put a ring on his sister’s hand in Vegas. He’s gone through so many temps that it’s a wonder the agency has been able to find another. When he catches sight of her, his life will is irrevocably changed. Lily Tremaine has had a hard year, losing her beloved grandmother, getting kicked out of her childhood home by her uncle, life has NOT been grand. At nineteen, she is hopeful that the skills she learned working at her grandmother’s law practice will do her well at this temp job. And then she meets her new boss—the rudest, gruffest, most handsome man she’s ever seen!
I did enjoy this novella, though the plot and timeline of events were ridiculously insane I'm still here for all of it.
It was over the top cheesefest and the main characters are ridiculously cute together. I'm somehow bothered by the age of the characters 19 and 32 were not really something I'll dig. I would've wished for the FMC to be at least in her twenties.
As for the epilogue, I'm not sure what to feel about the fact that after 5 years they have 4 children. I mean that was not safe at all, why didn't they put a gap between their kids? 😂
I absolutely loved this book. It was so laugh out loud funny. I read a lot of it out loud to my friend that I’m staying with for the winter. She loves to read as much as I do. This was so good that I had to read her several bits out loud because I was laughing so hard she was looking at me funny, lol. You can be certain that I will be reading everything that this author puts out there !! This is a must read if you like over the top hijinks and laughter and romance!!
This was a really good read, new author for me and I would read more. Quick read but laid out well. 19 year old gets job as assistant to the owner of a financial company (a little blurry on what exactly he does) he's 32. He's either fired or had 5 assistants quit since his sister stopped being his assistant to get married (I'm thinking she may have had previous book, need to check) to his best friend.
Just really well done for a shorter story and likable characters. No silliness or unnecessary story distractions.
What can I say other than after reading the first book in the series I was hooked and I rushed to get every other book in the His Bride series. To say that Nichole Rose is dangerous to my wallet is to put it mildly but well worth the danger. So far everything I have read from her has been well worth the read. Fun characters, witty banter, sassy women, hunky men, laugh out loud moments so make sure you read them where you won’t attract attention to yourself when you burst out laughing and lots of hot, steamy sexy time. Sorry, no spoilers, but highly recommended.
This book was freaking awesome! It was funny, sweet, sexy.. exactly like Grant! God, that guy was freaking HOT! So sweet, protective, possessive, sexy as hell. And I also loved Lily. What a sweet, lovely girl! It was cute how she cared about Grant. And their first encounter was hilarious and cute. And the ending.. really, really cute! I'm a bit sad it ended. I would have gladly read more. Grant and Lily were just too cute a couple!
Grant has become a mean dictator at his office ever since his little sister stopped being his assistant. Lily is the fourth assistant the temp agency has sent in as many days because they either quit or he fires them. Lily is determined to keep her job, too bad she calls Grant a "rude jerk" within the first few minutes of meeting him. This is a super sweet, sexy read and I highly recommend it!
