ok here's the thing. seriously tho, i think kwon hye-ryang might be the most well written villain/antagonistic (???) characters out there. like i can't even hate him because he's just so so damn competent in whatever evil fuckery he does. he does not hold delusions about himself or others too. i think that's why it's so easy for me to get invested in like the political plot of this story. lee yeonjo is also so evenly matched with him. it's like watching a mind blowing game of chess actually.

like this is actually reminded me of nbc's hannibal tbh if you know what i mean.

the art is very pretty and the translation is also VERY well done. there is however, the matter of non-con & dub-con but i went into this knowing it would be there.
