Knox has been in jail for a number of years after an incident with some dirty cops and his step-sister Myrah is excited to see him since she just turned 18 and can officially visit. When the two see each other for the first time in years they are both shocked that the other is all grown up and filled out in all the right places. The sexual tension begins right away and ramps up pretty quickly and they test the limits until their feelings for each other are made clear. This was a great taboo/forbidden romance that was short and to the point. Looking forward to reading more in this series and from this author.

This one is pretty hot. The entire story about how he gets out of jail is totally ridiculous, but honestly, I'm not really reading this for the story.
This fic overlaps with "Resisting".

How are you going to have an Erotica book where the h and H don't have actual sex until 80%??? Imagined sex or phone sex do not count! I'm reading to indulge in a fantasy, not the fantasy OF my fantasy! If you're going to have a terrible story, then the sex at least needs to be there, if the sex isn't there then you need a decent story. This lacked both.

Once again Landry Hill hits it out of the park!OMG! There is so much spice between the two main characters! I highly recommend this book if you are looking for an epic love story mixed with a little bit of taboo! This is one hot story that is dying to be read!

I never read what books are about before reading them, especially when I know I’ll love the author’s work anyway, so I didn’t realize this is the same world as Resisting until I was like, “wait, is that the same Rowan?” And then of course Daddy Ryker showed up! I loved it! This book was so hot, and I was so invested in the characters! Especially when I realized I had read about them in Resisting - they felt like old friends that I got to know better! A lot better, if you know what I mean! 😉
I can’t wait to read more from this series, and literally anything Landry puts out, because so far I’m pretty sure I’ve given all her books 5 stars! She’s certainly one of my faves!

Daaaang! Landry Hill can sure write a spicy scene 🔥
If you are in the mood for a quick, fast-paced romance with some forbidden angst sprinkled on top, you definitely need to check this book out. Knox is one yummy dirty-talker and I am so glad he and Myrah got their HEA!

Don’t we all love a big, tatted, bad boy stepbrother with a dirty mouth? At least I do lol, Knox fits the bill! I really enjoyed the story line and of course the spice was 🔥🔥I don’t want to give too much away, but it will have you mad, and ready to fight one minute and then you’ll be 🥵in the next. I love seeing people get their comeuppance. I’ve really liked everything I’ve read from Landry Hill and look forward to reading more. I received this book as an arc. This review is my own personal and unbiased opinion.

I was in the mood for an easy/ short taboo romance and decided to give this one a try. I will say I'm glad I did for the spice. Woo, it definitely had the spice! I do wish we had a little more teasing / FaceTime while he was in prison. Overrall super unrealistic book, but that's okay, I didn't read it for the story. I read it for the smut. I'm not ashamed to admit. I do love a good forbidden / taboo romance, but this one was a little much. They were step siblings, but he kept referring her to a child pretty much, which I don't care for in books. It's a little too pervy for me. I'm reading for the step siblings aspect not to read "bare as a baby's bottom " "my little girl" "my little strawberry" " You know daddy's rules". It was an instant turn-off for me. In the beginning, the smut was great and seemed to be between two adults. Unfortunately, it took a turn with the corny dirty talk . That's just my opinion. I also loathe any type of law enforcement romances so him becoming a sheriff really irked me. Overrall easy read, I read in less than a few hours while at work. Would I read this author again? Why are all of Landry Hill’s books so good that I devour them in just a day or two? Seriously, for shorter stories, you get the background, the full plot, and feel connected to the characters. It’s amazing! I love reading what she comes out with!

dnf at 60%. i really tried, i did. i don’t usually write reviews but the complete lack of honesty in these reviews is crazy. not one stitch of plot and awkward intimacy. i should have known i was done when the fmc’s best friend kissed her moms boyfriend at a high school party…and it’s okay that they sleep together because the mom is just SO mean to her. and then the fmc almost sleeping with her ex AFTER starting a romance with the mmc. big yikes.

This story is about Knox and Myrah. Knox was wrongly convicted and sentenced to jail time. Six years later he finally sees his stepsister Myrah again. And she is all grown up. Their attraction to each other is undeniable. This book is hot and I love the forbidden love theme. I really enjoyed this book. It's definitely one I would read again.

New to me author, and this book didn't disappoint. I didn't mind that it was on the shorter end. I couldn't put it down, and it was a nice change from all the other dark and series books that I've been reading. This was a hot little taboo story that definitely had me laughing and panting. Wow! What a great read! I can’t believe Knox’s father set him up to be arrested, because of his greed for money! Then he had the audacity to want his step daughter to be his sex slave! And on top of that Myr’s mother knew all about it! I’m so glad Knox got justice and Ryker was the hero in all this! I can’t wait read his and Rowan’s story!! You have a new fan Landry Hill!

When I started this book I was on edge, I wasnt sure about a relationship with a brother and sister until I find out they aren't blood related And the love between Knox and Mayra was so strong at frist I thought it was just Lust but their love grew stronger and it ends on a happy ending. , but its a good book to tead I really enjoyed it.I definitely going buy this book for my collection.

So this is my first read by this author, and definitely not my last. Really a good story with a plot. The spice is 5/5. Yes, there is a HEA. What I really loved was the ending wasn't rushed. You really end up loving these characters.

Wow! What a great little read. I cannot even imagine what this author could do with a full blown read if she can pack this amount of writing talent into smaller reads. I liked the idea of this book and even though there are cringe moments-“bro” and “sis”…yeah…I still enjoyed the book.

This book was 🔥. Yes there was some unbelievable stuff that happened like how quick he got out of prison and his record was wiped clean. But the spice definitely made up for it. Now I’m moving to Ryker’s book.

This book was so good. Knox is my newest book boyfriend, and I couldn't be more in love with him. I love how protective and caring he is; even in jail, he always encouraged and built a relationship with Myrah. Throw in the taboo step-brother troupe, and this story gave me all the feels. I couldn't put it down and read it in 1 sitting.

the tension and spice between the two main characters is top tier. and i loved how this book wasn’t just smut and how it had a storyline as well. i loved it.
