They went to powntown before Morgan knew Rhett was a shifter... TELL ME how the frickle-frackle-fuck did Morgan not freak out when the dude has a knot on his dick?

Felt like a draft and very fake ..
Humans don't slick and if a 'humans knotted me I'd freak the fuck out...this all happened before Rhetts wolf reveal which was anticimatic
And it's just skips time..like tiles bought tiles laid
Morgan's parents just basically left after the so called loan shark stuff...

We barely meet the characters before they're bonded, creating a family, and mated. The cousin who was introduced as a big deal that would keep Rhett busy was quickly forgotten. The rules of this alternate timeline are never explained. This didn't say it was ABO, or involved mpreg in the blurb. Not that it would stop me lol. I read literally everything- except bully romance. But it might surprise some readers who aren't expecting that content. MM romance is a wide genre but unless stated otherwise usually just involves 2 men falling in love. The story of the dad and his debt is quickly dropped, too. And settled all too easily. Mafia types rule by fear and death. You can't tell me that the guy wasn't packing and wouldn't have drawn instantly on a threat. Because the minute he was seen backing down the rivals would be circling to take him over. And the money? Yeah, they don't let they go. Ever. So, yeah, more plot holes than a brick of Swiss cheese. But if you want a fast and super fluffy read during a lunch break, sure.

Wrong Number, Right Wolf is the second book in the ‘Love Sync Mates’ series. It stars Rhett, florist and Alpha wolf, and Morgan, artist and human omega. This is told in first person from Rhett and Morgan’s povs.
I’ll first review the cover. I don’t think it resembles Rhett. The cover model looks super tough and hard, and Rhett really isn’t like that. In fact, his wolf is a bit of a doofus and doesn’t like confrontation. So, I don’t think the cover works for this book, although I like the colors and the font.
The blurb gives a basic rundown of the plot as the story begins. Here’s a little more info. Morgan’s father took out a loan from a loan shark. His father can’t pay it back and instead promised Morgan’s hand in marriage to the loan shark’s son. Morgan freaks, runs away from his home, and then calls a friend but it’s the wrong number, which happens to be Rhett’s number. Rhett comes to Morgan’s rescue and realizes Morgan is his mate. Everything about their relationship takes place at warp speed. Morgan falls in love with Rhett within twenty-four hours and moves in with Rhett within a few days.
There are many things that didn’t work for me in this book. First, it doesn’t have enough character or world building so the story didn’t pull me in. It had far too much inner monologue, so that the writing came across as telling instead of showing. Because it came across as telling, I couldn’t relate to the characters, and because their relationship happened too fast without growing emotions. The characters told how they felt, without expressing emotions in ways that a reader could feel.
Events happened too quickly. For example, the characters could be at home talking about going to the store or the woods, next paragraph they’d be at the store or woods, without any indication of the steps to get there. It’s like they were transported. This happened for all sorts of scenes. The scene changes were too abrupt so I didn’t feel connected to the events. This made the plot feel formulaic, laid out as a draft with the minimum to flesh out the scenes to write the book. The shopping for baby clothes scene dragged on for far too long. Maybe it was supposed to be cute, but it didn’t do anything for the plot and was boring. It could’ve been deleted and the story would have worked just fine without it. Finally, the ending was strange. It read as abruptly cut off and was about baby poop. It was gross.
Overall, I was disappointed in Wrong Number, Right Wolf. It didn’t live up to the interesting blurb. Too much inner monologue, telling instead of showing, bad scene segues, and I couldn’t believe in Rhett or Morgan as a couple. I don’t recommend this book. I give it, 2 Stars.

Ugh. Such a nothing book, from such a fun premise.
The family is just awful and this is sorely lacking in comeuppance. There were also continuity errors. I only finished this because my brain was so tired that it was easier than picking another book.

the author’s first novel? DNF
some short stories are a quick fun read, this book was not one of them. This book was laughably bad! I was shocked by the lack of quality and thought for sure no one reviewed this book before it was published or it was self published and no one gave adequate constructive criticism to better their writing.
There were so many inconsistencies in the book from the very beginning with an almost throw everything at the book and see what will stick mentality. There was no clear direction in this book. For example the story is about a shifter and in the very beginning the description states that the shifter has enhanced senses smell hearing etc., and then by halfway through the book at around 48 or 49% the author forgot about the enhanced senses and created an complete dramatic scene that was pointless.
The relationship between the main characters didn’t flow whatsoever and the writing seemed very immature almost like the author couldn’t or didn’t know how to incorporate the sexual atmosphere into the book so when reading it seemed very awkward.

I've never had read a novella this drawn-out and boring. I should have realized something was off from the moment the dad gave away his son to the loan shark and Morgan just assumed the guy was mafia freaked out and ran away. From there, it was kind of normal until their interactions started to feel so forced and rushed. There was no emotions behind anything and it was really bland when Rhett introduced Morgan to his wolf and Morgan was like okay and that truly killed it for me. This book for me feels like a draft concept, like the storyboard that an author makes about the important points that they want in the book without much/minimum detail.

Unfortunately, I found this book pretty boring. The premise was cute but resolved pretty easily, then there was a moment of tension about whether the human would accept the wolf, and then no tension at all for chapter after chapter of moving in together and buying baby clothes and weird parent humor about poop blowouts. Just a miss for me.

If I remember this author in a few months or a year from now, and the novel at that time blurb seems interesting, I'll check it out and hope they've improved. I like to give new to me authors a second chance if the first book is a dud to me.

Horrible. I don't even know what to say.
I just noticed that this book wasn’t included in my Goodreads challenge, and so I realized that the trauma that was reading this book was so great that I didn't even mark it as read in GR. Ugh.
In December, while browsing the upcoming releases, I noticed this title, the second book in the Love Sync Mates series, an MPreg series written by different authors. The truth is, the series itself didn't appeal to me that much, but this book did. And although I usually don't skip any titles, even in standalone series, this time I made an exception and read this second book as soon as it was available.
The premise is that one of the characters, Rhett, receives a voicemail he can't ignore. It's from a man (Morgan) crying, asking a friend (who isn't Rhett) to come and get him. When Rhett returns the call, concerned about the stranger, he discovers that the phone's owner is not the one who left the message, so he decides to go help Morgan, who is clearly distressed and scared.
Well, the premise is interesting, to say the least. I was dying to know what would happen with them, how their first encounter would be, how they would fall in love, and also, to find out what was happening to Morgan to be crying in the middle of the street, lost and alone and without his own phone.
The result? A series of senseless and incoherent events, strung together to develop a book with specific tropes, all forced one after another in 110 pages.
It's nonsensical, and I'm truly sorry for being so harsh, but honestly, there's no depth, no plot or character development. It's all very flat, superficial, and forced; things happen too quickly, it's boring, and it took me an enormous effort to finish it.
Honestly, I find it surprising that it has such good ratings. For those who usually agree with my tastes, don't waste your time with this one.

This book is part of the multi-author Love Sync Mates Series. Each book is a stand alone read. This is the story of Rhett and Morgan. Rhett owns a flower shop and is an alpha wolf shifter. Morgan is an artist and an omega human. Rhett receives a voicemail from Morgan asking Tony for help. He sounds scared so Rhett immediately goes to help him. Thinking he is going to help a stranger, he finds his mate! Now all he has to do is get Morgan to trust him and help him solve his problem. First he has to get him out of the dumpster. Morgan is having the worst day. He finds out that tomorrow his father is marrying him off to the son of a bigwig mafia guy to pay off his debt. Hearing the news he panics and runs out in the rain with no plan. He destroys his phone and realizes that he left without his wallet. He is scared, frightened and lonely. Then Rhett shows up to help him. This is their story. This is a very well written story. It is easy and fun to read. Rhett is kind and appreciates how much rapid change is going on in Morgan's life. First he has to save Morgan and his father. Then he has to introduce him to the shifter world. And then, finally he has to explain about mates. Rhett has a lot to do. Good thing that Morgan is ready to help him. I really enjoyed this book.

When alpha wolf shifter, Rhett, gets a phone call from a stranger in tears he can't, in good conscience, leave the man to his fate. Whatever it is. When human omega, Morgan, gets a call from his father telling him his life is now bound to someone he doesn't know in order to pay off his father's debt he's surprised a stranger will go to the lengths he did to keep Morgan safe. But alpha wolf Rhett will do anything to save his newly found fated mate.
Rhett and Morgan were cute together. Morgan's father was a POS. The storyline was cute too. The only issue I had with the story is that your suspicion that Rhett may be an alpha wolf isn't confirmed until half-way through the book and suspicions that Morgan is a human omega are not confirmed until even later. So I didn't know how I was supposed to view the type of relationship they had. Once we were given that information it changed how I viewed their story and their relationship, but by then the book 1/2 over for Rhett and for Morgan's confirmation the book was 3/4 over. It just made it confusing because until those revelations I viewed Rhett as a regular wolf and Morgan as a plain human. It's not until Morgan suddenly has that you get confused and wonder if he's an omega. I wish that both had been made clearer at the beginning of the book.

I loved the concept of this book. A wrong call brings two very right people together. Rhett is an alpha wolf florist. At the end of the day, he silences his phone and likes to rest and sleep. Dozing off without muting it, he is awoken by a missed call from an unknown number. The man leaving the message is panicked and begging for help and he immediately knows he can't abandon someone in trouble.
Morgan is a human omega. His father borrowed money from a loan shark and, unable to pay it back, offered Morgan in marriage to the loan shark's son. Panicked, Morgan ran and destroyed his phone in case it was being tracked. He borrows a stranger's phone to call a friend for help but dialed Rhett instead. When Rhett finds him, he discovers Morgan is his fated mate.
I thought these two were very sweet together. And Rhett proved more than once that he'll immediately step in to help Morgan whenever needed.
A very fun read with some suspense and danger. A great start to a new series. 4 stars.

This was a super sweet story about Rhett who is a wolf shifter and Morgan who is a human who finds himself in trouble when his father promises him in exchange for a debt his father owed to a bookie. Rhett received a phone call from Morgan by mistake, he rushes to his aide only to discover he is his fated mate. These two characters are perfect for each other and they soon settle down together and raise their twins in a happy ending.
Morgan was a sweet but independent omega hum who was fiercely independent and was determined to make it on his own until Rhett came into his life, then he felt comfortable in working with him and allowing himself to be dependent on Rhett, especially since his wolf was highly protective of their mate. Morgan was a sweet but independent omega hum who was fiercely independent and was determined to make it on his own until Rhett came into his life, then he felt comfortable in working with him and allowing himself to be dependent on Rhett, especially since his wolf was highly protective of their mate. I enjoyed reading this book from the first to the last page, regardless of my personal preference are contemporary, emotionally intense, dark dramas. Though the path of Rhett and Morgan to HEA is straightforward, the book is an entertaining page-turner.
The writing style is vivid, vibrant, and eloquent, keeping the reader engaged from the start to the end. The witty, hilarious, and captivating narrative makes reading this novel an immersive, enjoyable, heartwarming, and joyful experience.
The misunderstandings and situations caused by the clash of human and shifters' views and traditions are hilarious, adding to the overall experience of the story. The author hilariously and vividly presents the difference in perception and reactions between Rhett's inner animal and his human side by giving the wolf a voice and a role in the story.
The tale of Rhett, a wolf shifter owner of the florist shop, and Morgan, a graphic designer and human, starts with a mix-up that joins the two fated mates. Their path to happiness and love is full of amusing misunderstandings, witty dialogs, and funny situations caused by a clash between shifter and human traditions and customs.
The book is a captivating combination of eloquent writing, hilarious dialogs and situations, attraction, passion, and love with a pinch of action and suspense. Can't do anything but love the characters, including the wolf, with all their flaws.

While I have read and enjoyed other Colbie Dunbar books, this one was just okay.
Morgan was a human who dialed the wrong number seeking help after his father told him that he was indebted to a loanshark and promised Morgan as payment for his debt.
Rhett tracked down Morgan after hearing his voicemail plea. When Rhett found Morgan he discovered that Morgan was his mate, his human mate.
Rhett scared the loanshark into leaving Morgan and his family alone and began ‘slowly’ pursuing a relationship with Morgan. Lo and behold, Morgan ends up pregnant (with twins).
There was no break in text when time passed so it was a bit jumpy. We never discovered what lead Morgan’s father to use Morgan as payment, Morgan never confronted his parents about it, and we don’t know why Alpha was such a grump. While the story technically ends in a HEA, it also just kind of … ends.

Ehhh, this was an okay read, very superficial, and insta- without any real tension or plot, which is a bananas statement to make when the premise consists of a father promising his son's hand in marriage to a mafia boss's son in order to wipe his own mob debt clean. Not to mention that the pairing is wolf x human and humans appear to be ignorant that the supernatural community exists! So much potential, but everything was resolved in a perfunctory manner without much actual storytelling to engage the reader. Even the mating act fell flat.
There were a couple cute moments and scenes, but not enough to really recommend the book, though it's a short pleasant diversion, especially if you aren't looking for anything too involved. I wasn't the biggest fan of the writing style - but far too much telling and not nearly enough showing - so I probably won't be in the market to read any more of the author's books.

This is the second book in a multi author series, Love Sync Mates. It's a collection of Alpha/Omega mpreg stories. Something that Dunbar does extremely well. For their contribution, we get an Alpha Wolf florist and his Human Omega artist.
Morgan's father offers him as payment for a debt to a money lender. On the run he tosses his phone under a bus in a fit of paranoia and then realizes he doesn't have his wallet. Borrowing a phone, he makes a call to his friend, Tony.
Rhett listens to a voicemail from a strange number asking for a Tony. Something makes him decide to save the caller, who turns out to be his mate.
The premise is original for a pnr story, the worldbuilding is very good and the MCs have good chemistry. Sexy times are fan yourself hot. In other words, it's a typical Colbie Dunbar story. The author trots out a familiar trope and totally makes it their own.
Very enjoyable and quick to read.

This is the third book I've read in the new multi-authored series, Love Sync Mates. This story is by another one of my favorite authors, Colbie Dunbar. I love all things shifter, mpreg, paranormal you write I'll read it. I picked this book off of Booksprout to read and review the minute I saw it was available.
This story was based around a wrong number being dialed and an urgent voicemail being left. When an unsuspecting Alpha receives the voicemail he rushes out to help this unknown distressed caller. This story has a cute premise and this alpha isn't your stereotypical alpha male.
I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series and I look forward to the one that Colbie has paired up with Lorelei M Hart on, another missed call scenario.

Very poor writing
I almost DNF, but it was so short I got through it. I just spent the entire time going "people don't act like that," "people don't think like that," "has this writer ever met a real guy?" I half wonder if they have ever interacted with another adult of any gender. The characters acted, thought, and behaved like teenage girls. I have to wonder if the writer is very young. It certainly seems that way. It was as if including repeated thinking about his cock getting hard was what made a character a man. Also, it was described so awkwardly and so did not fit into the narrative that it was not remotely hot in any way.
It really read like mediocre fanfiction I read as a teen that was written by other kids. Even the names of the children gave "I'm a teen girl coming up with unique names."

Rhett loved being a florist but one night he got a call from a number he didn’t recognize and listened to the voice mail left. He called the number back the person that answered said someone in an alley used his phone to call Tony, his wolf made him go find Morgan. Rhett went looking for Morgan who was hiding in a dumpster so the loan shark’s men could find him, Morgan’s father gave him to the loan shark to cover his debt. Rhett told the situation to the elder and alpha then asked if he could use his wolf to scare the guy and they agreed because Morgan was his mate. Morgan loved to paint and painted Rhett’s wolf. Good book!.

Wrong Number Right Wolf is part of the multi author Love Sync Mates series. Each book is a standalone story but why not enjoy the whole series. This is the story of Rhett an alpha wolf shifter and Morgan a human omega. Morgan needs help bad an calls a friend on a borrowed phone. What e doesn't realize is that he called the wrong number. Rhett who doesn't usually answer his phone at night gets an emergency call from someone he doesn't know but he is compelled to help. With everything going on can these two get a happy ending, you will have to read the book to find out. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

While this is billed as part of a series, these seem to be very loosely connected, so world-building should have been more in depth, and Morgan's parents first getting him into a bad situation and then skipping town, never to make an appearance in the book again... meh. Flat, unrealistic characters, no real plot, and nothing much inside to keep me interested. It all felt very superficial, like the author just didn't care enough to actually delve deeper into the story they were writing. All telling, no showing, very few emotions - just very bland.
