I randomly picked this novella to finish up my month and WOWIE. The SPICE be spicing!! This was definitely more spice then story, but also I'm not mad about it. This DOES end on a cliff hanger though so be aware 😆

This is my first Kelly Finley book but oh boy it will NOT be my last. This was so incredible, and I ate this up. I need more of this ASAP. This book had me laughing, then kicking my feet all giddy to down right having to reposition myself because of how hot and heavy it was. It also helps that they met at the University of Alabama, and me being an Alumni from there was just the icing on the cake. 10/10

This novella was everything! It had the spice, the banter, and even some emotional moments. Kelly really didn't disappoint. I am now obsessed with Blair and Beau. This book is such an amazing set up for the next book, Shameless Game. I know I mentioned the spice but people... it was absolutely delicious. 🥵. I loved the Frenemies to lovers. The banter in this book had my giggling. I am so excited to see what happens next for the two main characters. The ending of this book melted my heart. It also made me so excited for the next book. I want to say everything in this review but I can't spoil the book... I guess you will have to read it to find out.
Shameless play is Novella. It will eventually connect to the Book Shameless Game. (coming summer of 2024). I recommend reading this one before Shameless Game. This book is recommended for 18+. As always please check TW before reading. This book is perfect for all Contemporary romance spicy lovers.

Okay so I absolutely loved this book its was a quick spicy read but I thought it was just a short book I was wrong and it ended on a cliffhanger😭. And I seriously cannot wait so Shameless Game to come out!!! But definitely when reading be aware this is very spicy!! Spicy is kinda the whole plot (which I wasn’t disappointed at all😏). But I can’t wait for there story and i absolutely loved the fact that they didn’t like each other yet just knew each others so well and how Beau treated Blair🥹. This was an unexpected binge and a perfect Valentine’s/one night stand/sport romance that isn’t very focused on the sport aspect. I’m not normally a big fan of second chance romance but actually, I rather liked this one. This might be a prequel novella but it packs a hell of a punch, both in terms of k!nk and in terms of laughs! The author recreated something in here that honestly made me laugh to tears and is something I didn’t know I needed ahahahah. After all that, the weirdest thing all of us will take away is that the FMC puts peanut butter on her burger (… I know…). Definitely give this one a shot! I can’t wait for the sequel!

Shameless Play is now a shameless favorite!!
I'm obsessed with Beau and Blair! Blair has to be one of my favorite FMCs ever. She's bold, confident, gorgeous, sassy, sarcastic, & creative. She has a big heart, although she hides it behind her quick wit and the wall she's built around it since college. And Beau....is just....amazing! The way he's pined after Blair for all those years, never forgetting who she truly was. He just absolutely MELTED me throughout this book. But he also broke my heart, because there’s something he's hidden about himself all these years, too. My heart ached for him because he feels he has to deny himself true happiness and fulfillment because of his career in the NFL. Ugh!! I just can't wait to see if these two end up together, so excuse me while I RUN to download Shameless Game!

Hmmnnn….. I’m quite torn …
From the teasers i was so looking forward to this one.
There was so much i liked yet bits that just weren’t for me.
When the parts i liked, i loved, the steam was exactly that spicy and hot. But then the ‘fantasy’ part just weren’t for me.
It was fun, flirty and funny banter,
spicy with side of serious i can see building to so much more…
Blair and Beaus story was all heat and passion but also their connection was real and it’s a novella to absolutely entice you for their story to come because you don’t want it left like that - you’ll crave more ….

oh my! this was 🫠
i was introduced to this author with "holiday for six", and safe to say this was THE introduction. this book blow me away and i have not recovered since.
i knew going into this, this would be spicy as hell and oh it was. this was a quick intro to blair and beau before shameless game and it did not disappoint. is there a plot? kind of. but spice is 90% of this too 😂

Kelly has done it again! This novella was literally everything! It had all the spice, all the banter and a few emotional moments that had me on the brink of tears. I am absolutely obsessed with Blair and Beau and I can��t wait to see what happens next with them. This book was an amazing setup to the next book, Shameless Game, and the ending melted my heart. Even though this is a short read, it makes you want to read more from Kelly! It left me wanting to know what comes next and I highly recommend reading before Shameless Game!

It wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t much more than smut either. Not a whole lot of plot going on with this one. It was a super short novella.

MY OH MY! This was something else. Listen, I’ve only recently started reading books by Kelly and she’s got me hooked!
Blair and Beau were absolute FILTH! These two were a match made in heaven. The way they complement each other was everything. I freaking loved their start. Them reminiscing about all the pranks they pulled on each other when they were in college made me laugh so much, but then you find out the reason why and you’re like OH!!
There was so much history between these two that wasn’t completely explained. Since this is a prequel to their book, I get it. But Kelly, ma’am… I NEED THAT BOOK TODAY! I need more from these two. I need to know about the conversation they had back in college because I can kinda imagine what it is about but I’m pretty sure there’ll be more of it. The trust they had with each other was another thing that made this SO good. Because they were able to explore some things that I honestly would never think about doing with someone I don’t know well or trust enough. And they were SO FREAKING HOT!
Now, that ending… seriously broke my heart and thats why I need more. Thats why I need their book today! Hahaha. But seriously, this was a great read. I enjoyed it too much and didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to see whats in store for these two.

Them reminiscing about all the pranks they pulled on each other when they were in college made me laugh so much, but then you find out the reason why and you’re like OH!!
There was so much history between these two that wasn’t completely explained. Since this is a prequel to their book, I get it. But Kelly, ma’am… I NEED THAT BOOK TODAY! I need more from these two. I need to know about the conversation they had back in college because I can kinda imagine what it is about but I’m pretty sure there’ll be more of it. The trust they had with each other was another thing that made this SO good. Because they were able to explore some things that I honestly would never think about doing with someone I don’t know well or trust enough. And they were SO FREAKING HOT!
Now, that ending… seriously broke my heart and thats why I need more. Thats why I need their book today! Hahaha. But seriously, this was a great read. I enjoyed it too much and didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to see whats in store for these two.

This was pure smutty goodness and I’m HOOKED!!
The plot - For tropes; frenemies to lovers, one night stand, one night together. This is a novella that precedes the full book, Shameless Game, so it ends in a cliffhanger but I’m not mad about it. Smut was a 5/5 on the spice scale; one handed reading is a MUST… wowza I’ve never read something with so much angst and smut in it.. love love loved it.
I don’t have many words for this one actually. The background was perfect and not overwhelming, the smut was panty melting and SUPER kinky, the underlying romance was heartbreaking… no notes, astounding.
The MC - Blair is our badass FMC, who is sex positive and loud about it. Oh, she also writes alien X human porn as an author sooo *wink wink*. Honestly one of the most relatable FMC’s I’ve read about in a while.
The male counterpart - Beau… my poor sweet Beau. I just want to cuddle him all night and never let go. Oh, yeah, and then I’d let him go 85 ways to Sunday on my lady garden (ew) because WOWOWOW what a man… still thinking about him even now.

Holy Mother of....wow! Now this book right here had so much spice packed into it I was surprised my iPad didn't burst right into flames! D N F!! The sex scenes are way over the top: down, dirty and raw. The graphic sex overwhelms the story. Reese was Blair's best friend so she stayed away from Reese's boyfriend. But Reese is no longer in the picture. So Beau and Blair are going for it! Sorry this is not for me!

Kelly did it again! The story of Beau and Blair! They have a history, Beau was the college football star who dated Blair’s college best friend and roommate. Blair fell hard and fast but couldn’t act on it. They both felt it so they started prancing each other and ended up hating each other to protect their hearts. Eight years later they met again. This time at Delta’s, the sex toy shop Blair works at. Their banter starts right up again and ends with a dare to see who can OUT KINK the other…. Just one night, Valentine’s Day! Spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ and fun.
This book is a short read full of content that makes you want more just like most of Kelly Finley books. This left me wanting more of their story and I can’t wait to read another Kelly Finley book.

I really didn’t know what I was getting into when I opened this book. Granted it’s only 148 pages, but I think at least 80% of the book was smut. We hardly know anything about Beau, and Blair was awful.
