Wrangler is part Cherokee, and all Colson. He moved from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Apache Junction, Arizona to get away from a needy ex-wife, and to get to know a family he's only recently discovered existed. The MC known as Exiles welcomed him with open arms. After prospecting for a year, he's been a proud member of the club for about three years when he knocks on the door of the woman who will mess up his busy life. Celeste Skye is a psychologist with her own satellite radio show, which she runs from her house in the quiet little town called Gold Canyon. Her fiance is absent at best, and up to no good. She has no idea the man she called to rid her shed of a deadly rattlesnake, will ultimately save her from much more. The only thing Wrangler likes more than putting on a good reptile show, is a good cookie. Or cake. Or pie. If it's a dessert, he's all over it. Celeste opens her door and awakens his senses. Not only is she beautiful with her voluptuous curves and long waves of caramel colored hair, but she smells like cookies. What's a man to do when he's confronted with two of his favorite things all rolled up into one gorgeous package? Wrangle her in, of course.
DNF. This was just too much. I couldn't take it seriously. And that damn pig was all over the pages. I get it, it's cute, but come on! This just wan't for me, at all.
When I read the first in this series, it had me! It was different! So edgy and raw. I loved it! Then the 2nd, to me, was just as fun to read. This one was highly disappointing. I didn't feel like our hero was edgy or raw at all. It was actually pretty boring. The heroine wasn't fun either. I was coming to expect my Colson men to be all SUPER cave man and shocking with what they thought and the way they acted. This Colson man was just kind of sappy and dull. 2 stars for being sweet and sexy....but minus 3 for the hero not living up to the Colson name.
I actually enjoyed this book!!! I am all for the whirl wind romance and this was a great one. I would have liked to know what and how everything turned out with Jackson but overall good read.
Loved the first two Colson books, as well as her other novel. Third one was okay, too, but as with this one, didn't have the over the top alpha male biker vibe. Was still a good read despite a few typos, just wasn't as steamy as her first few books. I still enjoyed reading it -- loved seeing a glimpse of the other characters --- Georgia, Red... :)
this is the fourth Reese Madison book I've read; I'll be downloading another tonite! if you are a biker, if this is your lifestyle, you can relate even if it's not exactly the same... good to have biker romance out there!!!
While I basically enjoyed the book, I found it much more mundane than previous novels in the series. A little boring. Liked the characters and the basic storyline but it lacked the 'punch' I have come to expect.
I have to say I love Wrangler/Trace his is a hunka hunka love lol like all of the Colson Brothers he is hot have to say I do like Celeste/Cookie she is a good woman and deserves a good man and she couldn't of got a better one
This was a pretty good read. I still liked the first one the best. This one really isn't much of a biker story, but you still get to visit some of the club members lives because of Wrangler.
I love Reese Madison's Colson Series. Especially the first 2 books. This one is a lot less biker and less alpha male. I hope in the future the books will get back to the biker alpha male genre.
Another grt instalment from Ms Madison. Luv these Coulson brothers. Funny smart and oh so sexy. This story made me laugh so much at times the brothers antics are legendary.
