Karen W. Pool, M.S., is the author of Transformational Thinking, Celebrating Women’s Voices, and Designing Your Life Vision. She has recently published her first fiction novel—a coming-of-age story, The Golden Thread, and continues to work on other workshop and book ideas. Formerly a university administrator at Utah Valley University and teacher-inservice trainer in 16 school districts, Karen presents workshops that encourage the development of creativity and imagination. She is also passionate about helping people learn an easier way to write. For more than two decades she has taught a Life Creation Process and encouraged individuals to invent their lives by creating a flexible 20-year plan.
Karen holds a Masters Degree in instructional writing and family science from Brigham Young University. She and her husband, Stan, are the parents of four adult children and six grandchildren. Karen currently lives in Utah and travels often between Texas and California.
Another book that has really helped me in rethinking my patterns of thinking. "We are engaged in process thinking when we are curious rather than fearful, intriqued instead of resistive, at peace rather than frayed." At this stage of my life I am in the process of discovering new possibilities and reinventing myself.
