Most useful book I’ve come across as a beginner. It’s a genuinely fun to read it has glossy pages with beautiful photos and reference guides.It covers 13 subjects on garden and plant care as well as garden design. Although small it packs ever square inch of ever page with helpful information. A must have reference guide for every gardener.

A practical and approachable gardening guide with clear headings and well-structured topics that make it easy to browse. I especially appreciated that each plant included its growing zone, which makes the advice feel grounded and usable rather than abstract.

Not a book I read straight through again, but a helpful reference to return to when planning or troubleshooting in the garden.

The name is right. This book covers gardening essentials. I find that I use this as a reference book. It covers a variety of topics a d contains lots of color pictures.

This is not a huge book (the essentials mind you) but one of the most valuable books I have come across in a while. the format of color pictures, diagrams & text is helpful and appealing. This one is a keeper.
