Bryce can’t shake the profound impact Sundai has had on him. Unable to get her off his mind, he’s driven to take a leap of faith and flies halfway across the country to find her. I Can Make You Love Me weaves a tale of love emerging from the depths of grief, exploring the complexities of guilt, jealousy, and the resilience of the human heart. Will Sundai and Bryce overcome the obstacles and find a way to heal together, or will the challenges they face prove insurmountable in the pursuit of love and happiness?
This is another great book by Authoress Nadia Nicole. Once again you did not disappoint me with this one!!! This book was well written with a good plot and story line!!! If you haven't read this book or any works by this Author, please do!!! Awesome job Nadia!!! Keep up the good work!!!
I listened on Audible. It was good. I was driving and it kept me entertained. I enjoyed that it wasn't trauma-centered and focused on a cute love story.
This was a miss for me. The premise was really good. But the execution...not so much. The writing was just ok. It didn't draw me in that much - except for at times when it was a train wreck. TRIGGER WARNING there is a scene with some very dubious consent bordering on rape that was kind of just glossed over.
And when the writing isn't the best, this is when a great audiobook would save the book for me. Well, wouldn't you know that the audiobook was narrated by an AI generated narrator. I've never seen that! And I hope to never see that AGAIN! It was literally like a computer reading to you. No changes in the voices, the real change in inflection. It was terrible.
The other thing that rubbed me the wrong was the way the author plugged herself in her own books. Once scene when the main characters were talking about authors, the female character said that the author she knew of was Nadia Nicole. Then in another scene another important character talked about how he couldn't wait to check the Nadia Nicole thriller called Targeted. It was just strange. I've had authors plug another author in their book to have them plug their own...
So, for me it's a no. This is a new author for me. And to tell you the truth, I am leery of trying another. I gave this *2 STARS* because I liked the premise and the ending was a cute HEA. But even that is a stretch.
The book was good but drove me slightly insane. Why would any women except being mistreated? I didn't like that about one of the female characters, pressed to accept whatever he gave her without explanation. Other than that the book was real with real life issues most people face daily. Two brothers finally find happiness.
This is a little love story of Sundai and Bryce. Sundai’s mother dies and she finally meets the neighbor, Bryce, who she has heard so much about. As they get close she meets his brother who brings negative vibes around. That does not stop Bryce from going after his queen! This is NOT a ghetto/ ratchet book. There is little drama in this book. It is your house with a picket fence and a dog Love story. This is my first Nadia Nicole book, but definitely not my last!
This was a good read. I wanted more time with Sundai and Bryce. I could tell the connection was there, but their relationship wasn't really fleshed out. I enjoyed what we got of them, though. Bryce's brother Lucas made me so mad acting like he had something with Sundai when he didn't. He met his match in Alashia. She made he realize he needed to change his playboy ways. I enjoyed this book and will continue to dive into this authors catalog.
