Rocket Slide: Revised, updated and enhanced with additional content.

Jenny and her daughter, Amanda, are enjoying a day at a neighborhood playground. Scratch that.

Amanda is enjoying the day.

Her mother Jenny most definitely is not.

Jenny is preoccupied with many things, foremost among them the sad, lonely turn her life has taken ever since she and her husband parted company ... his anger at being denied custody of Amanda … his vow to do something about that.

What crazy thing might he do? Jenny wonders, as Amanda roams the playground from ride to ride – the swings, the merry-go-round … the Rocket Slide. Would he actually do something like … kidnap their own child?

Is he so angry with Jenny that he might harm their child?

And then Jenny sees something, so shocking that it pierces her terrified musings about her husband and his intentions.

Did that child just go into the Rocket Slide and not come out?

The slide that Amanda is about to go down herself?
