This book was slightly better than the last but still only 2.5...
The reason? Why did she have to tell us over and over in many ways how brutal and devoted they all were... we got it the first 10 times, we didn't need 32 more times....or more.
Honestly...it took AWAY from the story. It would have been great, a 4 star at least had it not regurgitated those sentences over and over like that... I'm sad.
I think I am done for now. I finished the book and skipped the sneak peek....I don't want to read more if this was a preview of what we are going to see later.

What a great ending to another thrilling and steamy duet by BJ Alpha. I could not put the book down until I was at their HEA.
We got our answers and lies were uncovered. Tia and her men grew even closer in this book. Again it was proven how well they work together and how much they belong together.
I really love how BJ wove all these characters and stories together.
I am ready for what's next. 😉

Brutal Lies is incredible! B.J. Alpha came with the heat and did not disappoint. I felt so many emotions. This was a roller coaster, but it felt good to have questions answered and things unfold that had been building up throughout the series. Tia and her men have fantastic chemistry and are there for each other no matter what, even if terrible secrets threaten to ruin them all. I loved reading more about the O’Connells and the new extended family. This why-choose dark romance is SPICY. The MCs didn't hold back, and I enjoyed every second of it.
Brutal Lies is the perfect ending to a wild series. The sneak peak at the end has me READY for the next series.

i loved how we got a tiny glimpse of an oscar pov at the end I may have screamed when I saw it because he’s obviously my favourite out of all the o’connell brothers! and I can’t wait to hear about the youngest brother!! 🔥
to sum this up without any major spoilers I’m so happy that tia and the boys got to know all her extended family and that they can all get along now together without them hiding the sisters away from each other. the writing was fantastic as well as the short chapters! I definitely do recommend this series to everyone who is a big fan of bj’s books! 💗
I’m so glad bj allows her characters to flow through and tie together in each book that I hope we never stop seeing the o’connell’s anytime soon.

Brutal Lies is Book 2, is a MMFM why choose book ~ This is the final book in the series, its not a standalone, you need to have read previous books in the series.
Brutal lies picks up immediately after Brutal secrets ~ I don’t know how to do justice to this phenomenal book & series without giving away spoilers, all I will say is that it’s an absolute MUST read.
Yes it’s a dark romance, but beneath the dirty talk and hot, hot scenes there's a vulnerability & at the same time a strength that will leave you breathless. The Brutal series has it all.
When secrets are uncovered the fall out & repercussions from the storm they face will be brutal.
Together with their new allies & found family they gain the strength to deliver retribution.
Little did they know but the darkness they suffered forged a path that lead them to one another ~ Together they are stronger, brutally devoted, loyal to one another but in order for them to live in complete devotion they have to return to the depths of hell & darkness to take back control, to deliver justice & live in peace!
I absolutely love this story of survival, trust, protection & loyalty but more importantly love, love in brutal devotion ~ Forever !

We continue on with the story of Tia and her men and their family. In the previous book we left off with Bren rescuing Tia and the cliffhanger of is he alive or dead?
So many secrets & lies come to light. I feel so bad for Lucas and Tia and Jace and what horror they so went through as children. It’s just devastating.
I loved the multiple pov’s to get everyone’s internal mindset. It was so emotional. And their little girl Harper is adorable & hilarious. I feel like Tia was a little too harsh at first on the guys, especially with what they all went through too, but I do understand. Justice is finally served though and that last big spicy scene….oh my!

OMG this book is so good!!
I’m not sure what BJ Alpha puts in her books but I literally read them in one sitting lol
After the events of the last book and more secrets being exposed our favourite foursome have some tough times ahead.
We get to see more of the O’Connells which I absolutely LOVE they are my all time favs.
We get plenty of spicy moments of course which were just 🥵🥵🥵🥵 and our MC’s show how brutally devoted they are to each other.
That extended Epilogue though???? OMG!!
Owen’s book in the STORM series is gonna be wild.

This book picks up, exactly exactly where the first book ends. We even get a little recap of the ending of the last as a reminder. it did tie up a lot of the things that definitely happened and kept us on our seat until the very end on what happened to Bren. I overall really liked it. The spicy scenes were great and I do love these characters as I have followed them for four books now.
I do have one big piece of criticism and it’s probably just me, but I do like the titles, especially in the first duet to play a part in the books with how those keywords fit in I do feel like it was a little too much for me in this book. A lot of times, and other authors books when they incorporate the title of their book into the book itself it’s usually once maybe twice. Every single chapter I feel like the words were used multiple times and it just frustrated me because I felt so repetitious. Like I said, that’s probably just me.
While this does conclude the story for Tia and the guys it did set up the next work that BJ Alpha has planned perfectly and I am so insanely curious on that story and can’t wait for her to release it

Wow. I don’t even know what to say so I don’t give ANYTHING away! This book was amazing. The bombshell revelations in this book will BLOW. YOUR. MIND. Especially at the end. The past is colliding w/the present & it’s brutal. My heart broke for Lucas & reading about his childhood. God I just wanted to hug this man. He was hurting so much f/the anger his brothers were feeling towards him.
I was almost crying in the beginning, Bren was a hero. I loved getting more of the O’Connell guys, & their crazy af kids! And I was especially laughing at Oscar & how tactful he is when talking! I love his personality so much. I really was laughing at Finn’s analogy of comparing Tia’s guys to dog breeds! lol.
And that freaking ending!! WTF?! BJ once again delivered. This book had it ALL… suspense, anger, lies, betrayal, & as always w/any BJ book- even w/all the turmoil & brutality, she delivered some really HOT sex scenes w/Tia & her guys! Especially Cole & Lucas.

As I stated in my review for book 1, This author left me brutalized because of how it ended. I’m not going to spoil anything but she knows how to get you. You won’t be disappointed with book 2. It picks up immediately from how it finished, on a cliffhanger.
My emotions were all over the place. You felt the anger, the hurt, the betrayal and the deception. You feel for the characters. The lies and secrets have been revealed but it’s far from over.
I love the crossovers from her two series. The O’Connell’s brothers and Jace, Lucas and Cole men have my heart. I could read about them forever. Thaila and Sky are my two favorite FMC’s. This family just gets bigger and bigger. You don’t want to mess with any of them because it’s a war you will be getting.
This author definitely knows how to keeps these pages STEAMY! What a way to end this series. I’m forever obsessed.
So ready for what’s to come from this author! 🤩

My emotions were all over the place. You felt the anger, the hurt, the betrayal and the deception. You feel for the characters. The lies and secrets have been revealed but it’s far from over.
I love the crossovers from her two series. The O’Connell’s brothers and Jace, Lucas and Cole men have my heart. I could read about them forever. Thaila and Sky are my two favorite FMC’s. This family just gets bigger and bigger. You don’t want to mess with any of them because it’s a war you will be getting.
This author definitely knows how to keeps these pages STEAMY! What a way to end this series. I’m forever obsessed.
So ready for what’s to come from this author! 🤩

Brutal, devoted, lies , forever, brutally devoted and make it brutal. No words absolutely no darn words I have for this book. This duet wrecked me ,wrecked me so much I was hesitant to pick it up after that cliffhanger. Tia, Cole, Lucas and Jace, our girl and her men are what I say " those puzzle pieces that just fit". This one picks up right where we left off, if u have not read the previous books stop right here read them and then come for this.
Ma'am I was not ok when reading this , without giving away much , I will just say oh my god. When secrets and lies worlds collide you just have to let it happen and wait with bated breath. This duet will be by far my favourite series ever of BJ Alpha, perfection.

With all the secrets and lies and discoveries that had been made, could they all really come out unscathed with all the twists and turns that were sure to follow.
I can’t begin to describe the range of emotions I felt in this book. I wanted to scream, cry, swoon.. I felt everything. It was a ride!!
Every book I read by BJ I am always hooked from the very, very beginning and this was no different. I was also desperate to read this after the previous book, although I feared my both my heart and my sanity!
I loved the multiple POVs we got in this. BJ has done such a great job at building this world and bringing all the characters we love together.
As always the spicy scenes left me squirming in all the good ways.
I loved this story and I cannot wait to see what comes next from BJ.

This book is the second in a duet, but the fourth book in a series. This one picks up right at the end of the first book and propels us back into the world of Tia and her boys. The first book ends on a massive cliffhanger that broke my heart. I won’t tell you what happens with that because I don’t want to give anything away but I still love BJ Alpha, whether she made things better or not.
I love that BJ brings in other characters from this world that we’ve seen in other books. I love seeing their POV chapters because we do get a little bit of that in this book. BJ has this way of writing short chapters that are absolutely perfect so you can cram one in if you’re in a hurry , or you’re falling asleep. I love her writing and her characters and I will read anything she puts out.

Brutal Lies takes you on another amazing rollercoaster from BJ. I can not get enough of these characters or the amazing stories they are a part of. Even though this duet is complete I can not wait to see more of all these characters as we continue to get stories from this world. I don't think I will ever be ready to let them go. Personally I can not wait to hear this duet on Audiobook and I hope we get to soon as the first duet in the brutal series was absolutely amazing, I can't even imagine what it's going to be like to have all of these characters in one Audiobook ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Brutal Devotion Forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️

one word… SOBBING.
This broke my heart more times than I could count.
Just when my heart finally started to heal from Brutal Secrets, this came along and broke it all over again. The amount of tears I shed could fill up a bathtub!
I honestly don’t have the words to explain how much I freakin’ love these characters and the inter-connecting world that BJ has created.
It’s truly phenomenal.
The twists and turns were soul crushing, I swear my heart was ready to burst out of my chest.
I won’t say anymore as I don’t want to spoil it… but one last thing:

This final part of the brutal series covers heart ache, fear, love and devotion. Tia finds out about her past, as the o'connells help fill in the missing blanks. Hurt by her men, tia decides to take action against them, but doesn't know lucas has already set his own plan in motion. The brothers and o'connells are on another rescue mission but this time the victims take back the control from their tormentors. Its sad, brutal, bloody and steamy. I'm so glad that there will be more from these characters, I've enjoyed reading them so much.

This was a fantastic finishing to the brutal series! I loved the coming together of both the brutal characters & the secret & lies characters! It picks back up where brutal secrets left off… which was a huge cliffhanger. 😳
I couldn’t put it down. It’s fast paced like most of BJ’s books. And a quick read. It’s definitely not a standalone and I highly recommend making sure you read secret and lies series before hand and brutal devotions before, so you know the characters & fully understand the plot.

All the answers we kept getting stayed leading to more secrets and questions. But we finally get all the answers in this conclusion to the duet. The ending of the first book was a cliffhanger like no other and I was on pins and needles. But BJ didn't disappoint in the slightest. All the steam and kinks BJ is known for and worshipped for were present and as hot as always. I love how she crossed the worlds over and they blended seamlessly. If you want down and dirty with a great plot this is definitely a series to dive into.

Loved it
In true BJ Alpha stories, this was filled with steamy as hell scenes, suspense, and crying sessions. I don't even know what to say, other than I loved this book, and I was on a rollercoaster of emotions the entire time. BJs stories never miss, and they hurt and heal you at the same time. That cliffhanger came out of nowhere and made me so nervous about what may come next, but I am looking forward to it as well.

I loved how it ended. Every emotion was there. I mean all the emotions on each page. You felt anger, sad, happy, empathy all on one page. BJ Alpha has really done an amazing job. This book is hands down in my top 10. Loved it and the crazy emotional ride it gave me.
