Marshmallow A Rocky Lake Little's Short Story
Mickey's life changes in a moment. He'd never expected to be thrown out because of his sexual orientation, but Mickey also knows he'd never be happy living a lie. Things hadn’t been horrible, but Mickey also found living on his own wasn’t as easy as he expected. With only his trusty old car, a battered laptop, and a handful of cash, Mickey hit the road. He had no idea he’d find a home in a small Arizona town where words like littles and Daddies were thrown around, enticing Mickey into an unbelievable world.
Exploring his little side, Mickey has never been so happy in his life. Although all his friends paired up, they always make sure to include Mickey…but that doesn’t take away from the loneliness or the ache of not having a Daddy of his own. Mickey’s not sure how to start searching for a Daddy but happily gives in to his little side until one night when the Daddy of his dreams knocks at his door, needing a safe refuge from the severe ice storm sweeping in town.
Mickey knows that Maverick should be off limits since he’s Adam’s brother and doesn’t even live in Rocky Lake. One day turns into two and as the two become closer, Mickey sees in Maverick the Daddy that’s hiding beneath the surface. Can Maverick give Mickey everything he wants or are the two destined to part ways when the sun begins to shine and the ice melts?
Travel one final time to Rocky Lake and watch as a confident and needy little tries to convince a hard-headed soldier that the word Daddy might be the most important word Maverick ever hears.
This book contains MM sexual content (men having sex with each other), Age Play, Daddy/little relationship, ABDL, and age gap relations. This book is an exploration of a relationship between two (male) consensual adults that are looking for love and acceptance. All characters are over the age of consent. No cheating or cliffhangers.
This short story is set in Rocky Lake, Arizona where there are several Daddy/little relationships. Mickey had been thrown out because of his sexual orientation and ended up in Rocky Lake where he made friends with others in the lifestyle and discovered he was also a little. He finds solo living hard and he just wants a Daddy of his own as his friend's daddies can't keep helping him. Then the daddy of his dreams seeks refuge during an ice storm in the form of Adam's brother Maverick who has a daddy hiding beneath his external personality. Can Maverick give Mickey everything he wants or are the two destined to part ways when the sun begins to shine and the ice melts?
This was a sweet story as Mickey and Maverick finally got together and the HEA that they both deserved. I loved the way that Mickey was able to help Maverick learn about how he should behave and that Maverick had research he had previously done to help him too. Lots of discussions and emotions in this story but it ended with a satisfying HEA. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
- an MM romance! small town romance, daddy k!nk, age play, age gap, brothers best friend, forced proximity - i honestly wasn’t sure about Maverick in Adam’s story but i love him omg - omg they’re so cute together i love them - that’s right Mickey!! you ask him why he’s been avoiding you - where do i get someone who loves to clean and cook? - we never had a discussion about their pasts together? - really loved the spice scenes we got but wish we’d gotten a full scene - would of been great to have a scene where Mickey got to tell his friends that he was with Maverick - their valentines reunion was frickin adorable tho hehe - this ended SO abruptly!! like it felt like we were missing 50 pages - i did enjoy this and it was super cute but it felt like the book was JUST getting started and then just finished?! like what!!
Maverick and Mickey are an adorable couple. Mickey being the last boy, in the group without a Daddy, has his eyes on Adam’s brother Maverick. Maverick finally finds his brother but also finds a gorgeous young man who confuses him. Maverick doesn’t think he’s a daddy and knows thats what Mickey is looking for. While staying at his brother’s apartment, while his brother is on vacation with his partners, Mav has to deal with a busted water pipe and then the heater goes out. So not only does he have no water but he has no heat as well. When Adam calls Mickey, who lives across the street. Mickey somewhat agrees for Mav to stay with him. The whole story is cute and worth the read. Just like the others, this story is a 5 star ⭐️ read. Love this series. 💜
4 stars… This felt… incomplete? I enjoyed the story but it felt like the first half of an incomplete novel. Maybe that’s the point but I felt like we definitely missed a lot. I felt like we missed them flirting and falling and then them actually getting to be a real couple (more than just a few days) I don’t think they even tried having any penetration (which isn’t necessary but it’s something they both expressed they wanted and we didn’t get). So that was a bit sad but I do like this series and this couple so I’m not going to give it a low star count.
I am hard-pressed to explain it, but I think this is my favorite book of the series... and it is a short! 🤔
Mickey came along in the last book and was accepted into this "little" family with open arms! Adam, Sam and Caden were quick to see that Mickey needed them and they were not about to turn away a "little" brother! Maverick on the other hand... yeah, he needed to learn a thing or three about himself before he could fully accept that Mickey was his "one" and that he was exactly what Mickey needed!
Strangely enough, I found myself saying "double damn" several times today... I can't imagine why! 🤣🤣🤣
This is the last of the Rocky Lake Littles series, and it involves Mickey, the newest member of the staff at the coffee shop, and Maverick. Mav is the long lost brother to Adam, who he's recently found again. Mickey is desperate to find love like his friends have, and thinks Maverick is "hot" but every time Maverick looks at Mickey he frowns at him. Thinking Mav doesn't like him, he is caught off guard when an ice storm forces him to share his apartment for the night. Cam Mav and Mickey find out how they really feel and if a relationsip can work for them... Short and sweet, but a good end to the series.
Mickey finally gets his Daddy with Adam's brother, Maverick. Maverick visit during an ice storm and needed a place to stay was what finally got things started foe these two men. Maverick learned that he can be the Daddy Mickey wanted and needed. Very good end to the series with all the boys getting the Daddy of their dreams and needs.
I have been pouting since I got this book because I realized it's the last in the series. I love little stories but it's hard to find and author who does a good job of writing these types of books. Ms. Stellar is the best I've read. Now I have to wait for her new series…sigh. I highly recommend any of her books about Little’s.
I really enjoyed this book but was really glad I read the others in the series first, it isn't a stand alone and feels a little like a filler, I think it really could have been a proper part of the series but I am not the author so that is just my opinion. I will be rereading so I would recommend but make sure you read the rest first.
Adorable characters with a little Valentine's day thrown in to add to the sweetness. Short quick read best if at least one of the series is read before in my opinion.
Another winner! These are just too cute. This one was really low angst and quick and cute read. Not as high heat as some others but I didn't mind at all because I was just so happy to see Mickey get his daddy.
Not my favourite in the series due to how short it was. I loved how Mickey was unapologetically himself around Maverick and would have loved for them to delve deeper into their Daddy/little relationship. Honestly, it was too short for me to fully appreciate them both.
I enjoyed Mickey and Maverick’s book. It’s a sweet, no angst, quick read and a fun addition to the series. I especially liked how much confidence Mickey exhibited, even before Maverick showed up to stay with him and the relationship began.
This was a sweet romantic novella! Mickey, a little who never had a daddy, and Maverick, who never had a little, were perfect for each other. I especially liked all the cute moments Mickey spent in little space, and the times Maverick took care of Mickey. Wonderful series overall!!
I love love love Mickey and Maverick. Mickey is so cute and confident and Maverick is smokin' Hot and a little vulnerable its a fantastic dynamic. I so want more from these two.
Ready or Not, Now’s the Time! During an ice storm Mickey’s friend Adam asks Mickey to let his brother Maverick stay with him. Will sheltering together give them the time to really talk to each other. Enjoy their intriguing and steamy story. It’s perfect for a fun read in any kind of weather
I truly did not see this pairing coming! So good, so fun, so wonderful, as they figured out their attraction to each other. I am not in any bdsm lifestyle, but your stories are lovely, sweet romances that I adore! Keep writing and I will definitely keep reading.
Mickey and Mav are adorable!! I love the kisses rule…perfect!! I look forward to seeing them rattle Adam with their relationship business as the littles have no filters!!!
I loved that Mickey gets his daddy at last and that Maverick stepped up to be the perfect daddy for his little. Really thrilled to read that there will be new series and that the people from Rocky Lake Littles will be visiting.
Mickey always though Maverick didn't like him as he always looked cross around him , but when a storm hit and Maverick was stuck Adam asked Mickey of he could stay with him . Sweet read where Maverick realises he is a daddy and Mickey get a daddy all to himself
This is a cute short story that rounds out the Rocky Lake Littles series so that everyone has a daddy and an HEA. Mickey was the newest arrival in the coffee shop, and he found his special someone.
This is sweet book but was rather to short for my likes. Mickey and Maverick were great together. I only wish it had a little more depth to their relationship.
It was sweet. I am glad that we will be seeing them pop up in other series. They were adorable and showed another incarnation of daddy/boy relationships. This series did a great job in that matter.
