This is a fun, quick, spicy, apocalyptic story to read.
There's been a bombing of some sort and now people are living in a bunker in this underground community. There's "young ladies" and "daddy's" who are trained to save the human race. After Eleonore's 18th birthday, things change for her and well..Go read it! It's great to read for those who love a quick paced, don't think too much about the plot kind of story.
I'm going to need a full length book for this story. I need the background and I need to know more about how these people became the way they are.

this was an okay novella, it had me asking some questions that were still not answered the author said if it gets popular she might do a longer full version. So hopefully she does.
Eleanor is a little lady or girl who has been in this bunker since the age of 8 she’s assigned a daddy a older man to watch over her and take care of her but we don’t really get to know him since on her 18th bday they go above and he and her crush die.. I know I was shocked.. she changes alittle she’s even more of a brat and meh.. yeah I wasn’t to sold on El.. and her replacement was Callahan who she hates since he is the same age as her and her new daddy. As for Callahan I do wish he was older like a year or 3 it’s wired for me to see him act like a daddy at the same age lol.
Now I’ll be honest this wasn’t a real daddy kink type of book yes she had ruled and a spanking but it was a one time thing. The daddies aren’t suppose to have sex with them there job is to watch and take care of them… there’s some drama and more secrets to be unfolded now that they are on the run..
Tiny om drama, no cheating, drama, sexy time, virgin gal idk about him.

Another amazing ARC Review
A quick, spicy, apocalyptic read!
After her 18th birthday, things change for Eleanor. As a “young lady” she ends up with a new “D.A.D.D.Y”. I can’t say too much without spoiling it but after a bombing, people are having to live underground in a bunker due to radiation that turns you into creepies! For such a short novella, it felt both long and short in the best way! I can’t wait to see if there’s more to these characters, story and world as a whole! If you love erotic horror, dark romance then this, and every other piece of work by Tylor Paige is most definitely for you!

I’m in my apocalypse era so when this arc dropped, I was like oooh yes! As someone who plays games like Bioshock and Fallout, I’m always down for some chaotic wasteland activity.
Like Father Like Slaughter is a novella that follows Eleanor, a Young Lady, on her 18th birthday where her D.A.D.D.Y. (Dedicated Attentive Devoted Defender of Young Ladies) is attacked and taken from her. She is shocked when she is not only assigned a new D.A.D.D.Y., but that he’s someone close to her age and someone she despises, Callahan. Callahan has always liked Eleanor and finds himself struggling with his new leadership role because he wants to be a very bad D.A.D.D.Y.
While this was short and sweet, it has enough world building that you vaguely understand the dynamic of the D.A.D.D.Y.s and the Young Lady’s. I don’t know that this kind of book is everyone’s cup of tea but I drank it up. I’d absolutely love a full length more fleshed out version of this book with loads more content.
The scenes between Eleanor and Cal were hot and this is definitely a darker book with darker content, so take that into consideration. I suspect if you love apocalypse/the world is a nuclear wasteland type stuff, you’d love this.

Paige immediately pulls you into a world that is tormented by plague, that can clutch a hold of you just by breathing in the air. Human kind on the cuspid of extinction, and there is so much more of the world to be desired and the leaders who manufactured this forced proximity arrangement have to watch as their plans come raining down on them.
A stubborn girl dealing with grief of her one and only family member as well as the disappearance of the one she thought she loved. A boy who knows the truth and is full of promise and has sworn an oath to protect and serve finds himself unable to fulfill his duties. All because of one four lettered word...LOVE.
"Now, hold me tight. It's gonna be a long ride."
Wow Tylor. Just WOW! I am absolutely obsessed. And there is no way I can't beg you for more. More of this world, more of Eleanor and Callahan and even more creepie crawlies. Pretty please?!?
I loved this couple so much. And I loved going through the motions with them as they transpire from enemies to steaming hot lovers.
And 88 pages was all it took for me to become addicted and pining for more. If your looking for a read to pick up and work your way through in one sitting. This is it.

Now, on her 18th birthday, her friends planned a trip above to celebrate (and hopefully not encounter a creepie or a crawlie), her least favorite person Callahan is also joining her. When things so awry above, Eleanor’s D.A.D.D.Y is killed and her crush is missing. Callahan is reassigned as her D.A.D.D.Y and Eleanor might just finally realize he isn’t all that terrible after all.
Another incredibly fun read by Tylor Paige. The novella was short at 82 pages but did not lack a single detail. I feel like I was watching a movie while reading, but you know a rated R one. If you haven’t read anything in the Final Girls universe and want something quick, start here, you won’t be sorry.
Tylor Paige has found her niche and is not playing around. Every single book in this series blows my mind and this novella left no crumbs. The storyline is so uniquely original but pulls in enough general references to feel familiar. I wish I had 1% of Tylor’s creativity.

This little novella gave me huge AHS apocalypse vibes. The underground facility. The gas masks and protective equipment required to go outside were the main similarities.
I loved that the medication made a person able to face the natural elements without recourse. I enjoyed the whole story and the twist surrounding the MMC. I truly hope Tylor Paige decides to write a full-length book in this world because I need it.

4.5/5 stars! This novella is a trip and a half. If you've ever played Fallout, or watched the recently-launched TV show, this steamy post-apocalyptic novella is for you. Tylor does a great job of world-building in a tiny amount of pages. "Young ladies" are sent to the surface for recon and gathering, with "DADDY's" as guardians for protection. After a failed birthday party, our young lady of the hour experiences the betrayal of needing a new DADDY. Cal and Eleanor had so much chemistry. I flew through this novella and can't wait to read more in Tylor's world.

How does this Novella feel longer and shorter at the same time ?? I NEED more! This was a bit suspenseful towards the end, I wasn't quite sure what was going to happen but thought maybe D.A.D.D.Y. had a plan?! It's Dual pov and has an errotic spicy level- two of my fav things, and a very cool apocalyptic story! Recco if you like high spice novellas with a cool story - might as well check out the rest of Ty's books too ♡

First and foremost I read this book in one sitting, it was so good and so weird but in the best possible way! My favorite rule has to be 11, gotta love a little somno. Callahan and Eleanor had me swooning, all the “Yes, Daddy” stuff was just weirdly delicious. I do hope there is more to their story or maybe more to the whole universe!

Wow I totally enjoyed this novella, it was a quick, spicy, apocalyptic read and I'm so happy it's getting its own book. Because I really want to know more about this world and how things work. It's really interesting, I have many questions. I was totally hooked from the start. I love Tylor's writing and she's so good with details and making you feel them. Loved it. Oh and can't forget the cover. It's awesome and I get American horror story vibes from it.

We can add gas masks to the list of things I find attractive now, always learning something new. My favorite rule is Rule 11 - Let her sleep (Somno will always be the best). LFLS gives post-apocalyptic Fall Out and Bioshock vibes mixed with an Enemies to Lovers Romance. Absolute perfection in every way. The ending gave me butterflies.

Hehehehe… I really delighted in this storyline! Tylor Paige had me at apocalyptic and kept me close with the fiery horror. I found the concept unique and fun and just ate it right up! A definite palette cleanser novella sized morsel.

Tylor’s writing is always such a thrill and this book did not disappoint! This shorty story had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!
I couldn’t get enough of Eleanor and Callahan, I hope to see this one in a full novella, because I need more!! The smut and gore just go beautifully together, as always

It is Eleanor's birthday and she is so excited to celebrate that she has her nice pretty white dress on. When her friends tell her that she will be going above and celebrating she is excited but also nervous. She just wants to see Milton who she has the biggest crush on. When her and her friends are above things don't go as planned and hell breaks loose. Finding out the next day that Milton and her daddy are both dead she isn't sure what to think.
When Cal is assigned as Eleanor's new daddy he is not thrilled at all. He doesn't want to be her daddy because she is such a brat and he just isn't interested. Let alone when Eleanor finds out they assigned Cal as her new daddy she is extremely upset because she can't stand him.
Eleanor starts acting out and as her daddy Cal decides that he needs to punish her but after he does he doesn't understand why he feels the way he does. He doesn't understand why he feels bad for what he did and that he took it too far. After Eleanor gets blamed for what happened to Milton her and Cal realize that they need to find a way to get out. They can't be there anymore because of what they want to do to them for finding out what happened to Milton.

It is Eleanor's birthday and she is so excited to celebrate that she has her nice pretty white dress on. When her friends tell her that she will be going above and celebrating she is excited but also nervous. She just wants to see Milton who she has the biggest crush on. When her and her friends are above things don't go as planned and hell breaks loose. Finding out the next day that Milton and her daddy are both dead she isn't sure what to think.

I’ve always loved all things post-apocalypse and Like Father Like Slaughter rang all the bells for me. Supremely bingeable, this quick read is (as advetised) Fallout meets Bioshock with a heaping helping of the unhinged whorror madness Tylor Paige brings to the table, and you will gobble it up.
I can’t wait for the full length of this, and will be ready and waiting to snatch it up like a feral little gremlin.

Never thought I’d think Gas masks were hot… until now. If you like dystopian and erotica this book is the holy grail! Even though this is a novella it does not skimp on any details or any spice! This world Tylor has created has you in its grip right off the bat. And these characters… sheewwww they are like fire and gasoline. There’s twists and turns that will have you in the edge of your seat! I need more from this world ASAP!!! If you previously weren’t into the whole #maskedmendoitbetter movement… welcome to the dark side… you’re going to love it here!

The whole daddy thing gave me the ick. But if your into that you might enjoy this one.
But the biggest yikes for me was the creepies and crawlies. Like I feel like there could have been a way to name radiation monsters that didn't give off such a childish vibe.
Overall I'm going to attempt to read the full length book but I'm mentally preparing to dnf. The story had potential and regardless of the ages of the characters their dialog and behavior just is very childish/child like which is very uncomfy to me.
