This was a good story, but I found it to be lacking. It had the potential to be a great story, but I felt that all the good, important stuff and information had been skipped over.

Rose Winterbourne was having a bad time, having her boyfriend break up with her and then losing her job the next day, leaving her uncertain if she can afford their condo without a job. Rose had been working as a designer, at Galor Industries, and suddenly being let go was a shock. She needs to start looking for a new job and after hours of pointless searching, she gets an email come through from Family Tree Discovery. The DNA results show she has a grandmother, Katherine Winterbourne, still living in Helena, Montana, who is open to contact from Rose. Her grandmother is her father Cory’s mother, and she has arranged for one of her neighbour ranchers, Hudson Walker, to pick her up from the local airport. He is not exactly friendly, not even helping her with her suitcase! They reach a rundown ranch building, leaving Rose shocked that is where her grandmother lives, but as soon as she sees her, she knows they are connected. Katherine greets her and Hudson seems to have disappeared. Her other neighbours are Connor Adams and Eli Everhart who soon turn up to meet the new arrival. Each of them keeps an eye out for Katherine, but have their own ranches to run which keep them really busy.

Katherine’s ranch has been in decline ever since her husband died, back in the time of the men’s grandparents, and she sold parts of her land to two of their fathers, so long as she could stay on the ranch until she died. Eli and Hudson have a vested interest in the Bonnie Belle but only found this out when they took over their family ranches and Connor knows nothing about this. When Connor gets back home, he finds a letter from a company, MVP, chasing them to sell their properties, which upsets him, wondering if the other men and especially Miss Katherine have been harassed and received the same letters. Rose wants to help her grandmother make something of the ranch, with her degree in interior design, she believes she can help fix it up and make it a dude ranch, starting to make money for the upkeep of the ranch. She will need some help from the neighbours for parts of it, but she has made up plans and done costings, finding materials so much cheaper out her in Montana, than back home. The four have a meal out to discuss things, whilst Connor was on one of his many dates, but ends up joining them after it goes badly! Hudson storms off thinking Rose will be taking Katherine for her money, whilst Connor and Eli decide to help, but keep an eye on receipts.

Connor invites Rose to his house to talk more and Eli has gone ahead of them. When Rose gets fiery at them, Connor ends up kissing her and Eli wants to as well, as they tell her they like sharing their women sometime! Hudson feels a bit left out, also attracted to Rose, but soon gets his chance to take her out, until they get a disturbing call from Katherine. It seems MVP have been getting more aggressive in their approaches towards all the local ranches and the latest one has worried Katherine badly. Rose wants to help fight it, believing something is illegal, but the stress causes a shocking event, making decisions harder to come by. Some of the men take Rose’s decisions badly, but it is a long kept secret that causes the biggest split. Katherine is an independent woman who has been friendly with Connor, Eli and Hudson, for years, knowing their families well, and she shows no real shock of Rose’s unusual relationship with all three of them, no matter how much Rose thought they had been hiding it. They all think they will lose their land and homes, but Rose is the only one with a chance of finding out more from her friend, at her previous job. Each of the men have their own issues with what’s happening due to past events and this makes everything harder for Rose. A fight against this land grabbing company and ill health, as well as secrets from the past, threatens their love for one another. The only real home Rose has ever known is being threatened and she won’t take it lightly. An unusual relationship with her three very different cowboys, which despite personal issues seems to work for them and allows them to triumph over all obstacles in their way. A nice story with more than the expected romance involved in the storyline. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Love & Happiness for the Winterbourne Women

Basically, we have Rose, our FMC, who has no family, just broke up with her boyfriend of 2 years, and also just lost her job. She’s feeling pretty low, to say the least, but that’s when she’s informed, through a DNA analysis test, that she has her paternal grandmother who she can connect with. So off she goes to Montana, and before she knows it, she’s trying to help her grandmother out with fixing up her rundown ranch. That’s not all Montana has in store for her though, cause her grandmother happens to have 3 men, her neighbors, who all look out for her as much as they can. Let’s just say that Rose & the guys all feel a connection to each other, though they certainly don’t all give into that pull easily. There’s concern, caution & suspicion from the guys that’s balanced by a lot of chemistry & attraction that keeps them pretty confused, as well as other things 😉😝 Too bad that’s not the only drama they’re having to deal with, but can they all find a way to work together so that they even have a chance at a happy future? They’ll all have to overcome individual battles, as well as obstacles as a group, but if they can overcome the outside forces trying to tear them apart, then they might all find a way at making all their dreams come true. You’ll love this whychoose romance with plenty of found family, friendship, humor, drama, mystery, action, and plenty of spice, chemistry, passion & a love worth fighting for ❤️ It’s a story full of realistic feelings, situations, and moments between 4 people all looking for, or in need of, a family. What they end up finding is so much more than they ever could have imagined 🥰

It took me a little while to finish this one, and normally I love a good cowboy- or in this case, cowboyS -romance but I got icked out so bad by Connor in the end there. I reconcile his abandonment issues make him insecure and overtly suspicious, but he made such a big deal out of something that at the end of the day did not even involve him. I can understand being mad, but to hold a full on grudge? So much so you sell your property to the enemy? Selling is one thing, but to the company trying to buy you all out? The company you were just actively fighting against… He just obviously lacked principles and he rubbed me the wrong way. And the fact that they fought for him just didn’t sit right, full blown man child. That is what turned me off from this story the most. I also didn’t think the characters had chemistry, so the spice wasn’t very spicy for me. Also I couldn’t help but feel like Rose was pushing herself on them. I love slow burn but I don’t think that was accomplished here. This one just really wasn’t for me. What I can appreciate about Molly’s stories is that the guys aren’t immediately jumping at the opportunity to share their woman. There’s some work up to that, and I kind of like that. I love the insta love tropes but this feels a bit more real and believable. But it’s all fiction so who really cares in the end.

I absolutely loved reading this story and couldn’t put it down until the very last page. This was a good story about Rose, who had found herself without any family, and her ex-boyfriend had given her a gift to find out if she had more family out there, and when the test came back positive that she had a grandmother, Rose moved to Montana to get to know her grandmother, Katherine. Rose met her grandmother‘s next door. Neighbours three hunky looking guys, Eli, Hudson and Connor, the attraction between all three was too strong for rose to resist had before she knew it, they were all in a relationship.
All wasn’t smooth, sailing for anyone, they had a big land developer who was trying to buy up all the farmland in the town, and when her grandmother’s farm was in danger of being taken over Rose calls on her friends in Seattle, who give her the ammunition she needs to fight the greedy land grabbers. I really loved how they all got together and solved the issue and finally got rid of the development company and eventually became a complete family unit with a happily ever after.

This story follows Rose, Eli, Hudson, and Connor. Rose believes she has no family until one day she gets an email for an ancestry company claiming her grandmother is still alive living in Montana.

Through a series of events Rose ends up in Montana with her grandmother and her three young cowboy neighbors. When her grandmother's farm is at risk of being taken they all band together to save the farm.

The downside to this book is it ultimately felt like an outline. There really was no back story to the characters which made it hard to engage in this book. I wanted to love this book but I could not connect with the characters since everything felt very superficial. The story was also very fast paced with huge time gaps. I would be reading a chapter and it would tell me weeks had passed but then nothing about what really happened in those weeks. The book also glazed over the relationship with Rose and the men so you never really got the sense of their feelings for her.

A truly warm-hearten and delicious RH romance story that will satisfy your emotions and desires for this little band of characters. I'm not a person really into the whole cowboy trope but this one I really enjoyed and just loved the idea of getting lost into the whole countryside issue. The Author created really interesting characters that as a reader you could sympathize and connect with, which I think is an important concept to ensuring you enjoy a story. A well thought out and devised plot filled nicely with enough action, dramas, sexual tensions and frustrations that keeps readers wanting more and to actually see them all find their HEA's.

This was a mixture of fun and intense and even some sad times. Like life itself ups and downs and four people figure out a way to make their lives better. Big Corporate after the land causes problems for all of them but they rise to the challenge.

3 friends meet 1 girl
1 girl ends up rocking their world
She is hot and smart … and they are blown away.

This is found family … making the most out of life and it is two love stories … one for the young woman and one for her gran.

I loved the interaction of the men .. along with the hot steamy times.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Rose goes from lows to high when she finds out she still has family. When she goes to stay with her grandmother, she meets Hudson, Eli and Connor. A relationship develops between Rose and the guys and they fall in love. A shady developer tries to ruin everything and secrets coming out puts a strain on them. I like how Rose leads the fight that stops the developer and how her grandmother brings them back altogether.

3.5/5

I liked this book, but I didn’t love it. The characters were good, but Hudson and Conner were a mess for half of it - and not in a good way. Also the character development was weird, it was too fast or too slow and never just right. The relationship happened exceptionally quick, and I really don’t like big time skips or lots of time skips in books. That being said, I still enjoyed this book and I had a good time reading it.

I really fucking hated this book.
It was just so so bad. Even worse than the worst Telenovela you could ever imagine.
It was just all over the place. There was no relationship building, there was no real chemistry between the couples, there was no sex really, the MVP story was super dumb, and don’t even get me on Connor and his immature bitch ass.
I would’ve never gotten back with him, such an immature, selfish pussy.
Sorry, but this whole book just sucks so bad.

Just in love with Molly Eden books. I enjoy these love stories. Connor made me frustrated at times and would have loved to have learned more about his past or all of the guys pasts really. In line with this, it would have been nice to have more backgrounds on what they were thinking in between some of the chapter scenes. But, I just love that hey really didn't give up on their love for each other.

Being a genealogist, I enjoyed the storyline. Could be a few more details along the way but i did enjoy the book. Rose found a grandmother she never knew about and meets her three sexy cowboy neighbors. I’d read more from this author.

I really enjoyed this book, I didn't expect the one to be as traumatized the most by his past and do what he did, so that was an interesting twist. I found it wonderful that she was able to reconnect with her grandmother and bond. I had a lot of fun reading this and look forward to reading more of Molly Eden's books

What a fun read

I rather enjoyed this story. There were some moments where I was a little frustrated with the characters but in the end it had a little of everything to easy my frustration. I have to say that I did love Jeffrey. He may be an odd bird but he really brought the story to a whole other level. A very relaxed read and one I will probably revisit another time.

Cowboys Next Door

I would give a 3.5 if I could! The storyline was great, but the connection with the characters was very flat. This has all the makings for an incredible story. I just wanted it to flow more naturally, it just skipped a bit then we were trying to make sense of actions , emotions and plot.

Writing about a reverse harem can be hard enough but, to do it with drama, twists, fun and love takes a focused writer. Well written and worth a good read.

I never quite know what to make of these books. They are good but also very familiar. Everything from the plot to the writing style has me going back questioning if I’ve read this books before. For that reason , I rate this a 3.5.

I liked this book more than the others. There is a bit more plot with the threat to the ranches. But clearer that not much choices in a small town. Loved that both the female lead and her grandmother had a happy ending!
