Tia and her family have been crafting the life they desire. However, her past is not content to stay there. With danger afoot, her men take it upon themselves to call upon reinforcements.
If you’re a fan of BJ Alpha, you are going to want - scratch that, need - to read this one. I was thrilled to be back in the Brutal world. All the more exciting to have characters from the other series’ play a part in this story. Honestly, the way her worlds converge is nothing short of genius. Doesn’t mean I’m not seething over the cliffy. 😩

I have been reading this series since day one, ya’ll, I can’t stop now.
No one does dark and dirty smut quite like BJ Alpha 🫶🏼 I feel like she really showed up (and showed out) this time around and gave us some actual plot to sort through. We love to see it. She even looped in some new characters. I’m absolutely living for whatever she comes up with next. These books have become such a guilty pleasure for me and I have no intention to stop reading them.

Honestly, the only reason I am giving it two stars is because I absolutely LOVED the first two books.
Sure, there was a lot of smutt but it wasn't overpowering. It was just enough.
However... sigh...
This book...so many words used over and over and OVER!
brutal, devotion, storm...there were others but you get the idea.
The author is good. I have done my research and they are NORMALLY stellar...so...what happened?
I managed to get to 65% before I finally had enough.
We are 65% in and we still have no actual idea of what is happening with the Lancasters...sigh. I just cannot keep going with all the VIOLENT extreme sex. It's not even enjoyable. It's nasty. Like they are punishing her for things that she has no control over.
And I can handle dark content. This was not a trigger issue. This was just...too much of everything.
I want to keep going but the beer bottles and the carving her up is just past borderline.
I wish there was more storyline. There is a time and place for sex, even their...BRUTALLY DEVOTED kind...yeah right...anyway but the storyline should be important too.
I am so disappointed.
Going from OMG these books are so awesome...to...omg...when will it end ffs?

I skipped the last overly done sex scenes and read the last couple chapters. And finished the book.
I really hope HE is OK.. haha not telling you who!
And the small amount we have seen of Finn, I think I'm in love lol. Who doesn't like a volatile ninja? Lmao

OMG BJ Alpha keeps getting better and better at telling her stories. Oh and dropping me off that cliff while watching me fall laughing and waving!
This book was magnificent. All the childhood trauma has come back to haunt them so now Cole, Lucas and Jace have to turn to the O’Connell Brothers and STORM for help.
I absolutely love when multiple series get intertwined. The plot factor and the memories of the previous books and characters it invokes always pulls on my heart strings.
I can’t wait for book 2 and this is a must read for any dark romance lover.

Brutal Secrets is the third book in the Brutal Series by BJ Alpha. I devoured this book in one day. While I enjoyed the steaminess of the duet, I was glad to see that there was a plot and knew that it was coming since it was a four-book series. The ending was "Brutal," and I hope it does not end the way we are led to believe. That would be cruel, but luckily, I don't have to wait long as the book comes out this week. I have never ordered another book so fast, and I can't wait to see the resolution of this story and have the HEA we all crave. It is a HEA, right? *sniffle.

I don’t remember because I read the first part of the duet a while ago, but weren’t Lucas and Cole brothers. Nope nope nope I couldn’t do it. I saw so many reviews saying how good it was and I liked the e first part so I thought I would like this part two but no. I couldn’t take it. Sometimes I had to check the chapters because I thought that Cole was Tia the way he was acting I was not feeling this book.

Wowwww! What an absolute ride! Was super excited for this book after loving the first two so much and all these characters I couldn’t wait to get stuck in! What a rollercoaster this was too. Their perfect family really are getting put through hell! The spice scenes were absolutely 🔥… but that ending what was that 😭😭😭 roll on February!

This was filled with tonnessss of spice (ya’ll better make sure your B.O.B is charged before reading this) it was hot as hell… THE BEER BOTTLE SCENE- WOW 🤭🔥 I won’t ever look at a beer bottle without thinking of this series!!
Lord have mercy this was a rollercoaster… I mean, my emotions are all over the place. I was swooning, laughing, and then SOBBING.
My heart was torn to shreds with that cliffhanger. I’m in emotional turmoil. Literally choking on my tears...

Another super sexy romance drama from BJ Alpha!!! This book starts to bring together the different characters from her other series. It's cool to see Tia's guys come together with the O'Connell brothers to stop the Lancasters.
The first half of this book was so incredibly spicy. It made me wonderful what I did in my past life that I don't have a Rage, Lucas, and Cole.
The last half of the book made me feel like I was tied to train tracks and I didn't know if I was going to make it lol. The ending had me teary-eyed and wondering if it was legal for an author to leave readers on a cliffhanger like that.
This was such a spicy and thrilling read. I need to know what happens next and if everyone is okay!?

I literally have no words l was merrily reading a spicy RH with loving life loving how the story was unfolding with references and characters from Becky’s other books when that ending happened! I was 100% not ready for it I could see how it was unfolding and what Becky was eluding to but I choose to ignore my instincts and I was not emotional stable enough for the cliffhanger she left us on.
Now I know what I’m getting with Becky’s books 5 star filth dirty talking MMCs and the plot to go with it, this book has linked all of her other series together wonderfully now give me book 2 Mrs I need answers!!!

Good grief. This one was... a lot. Like.... send help.
Ok ok, before I get too into it, this book is part TWO! of this duet. Books #1 and 2 were hot, and steamy and had me all flushed and bothered. They were thrilling and riveting and nail biting and pushed oh so many boundaries. This is book #1 in the second part, so for all intents and purposes book #3 because you're not reading this without reading part 1 - why would you? Part 1 is fabulous!
So anyway, here we are - Tia and her guys are where we left them at the end of part 1 and things are unfolding. And holy $hit do they unfold! This RH puts most others to shame. But there's an edge to this - this is dark! Let's not be mistaken. This is full of triggers - read the warnings before you even consider jumping in. But if you're fine with those triggers, buckle up boys and girls, because you're about to go for one hell of a ride!
And the ending? How BJ leaves us at the end of this???? Ohhhhh myyyyyyy gawwwwwwd. No wonder her team has a support group to embrace you in a weighted, warm and fuzzy comfort blanket after reading where they safely place you in a corner where you can rock and suck your thumb. Because, good grief! The ending and how it leaves you desperate for book #2 in this part 2... I mean... the comments in the support chat were "I am not okay" and you won't be. But don't you just love it when a writer captures you so intently in a story that you feel so deeply? Feel so happy, or sad, or turned on, or in this case - destroyed! That's some good writing. That said, be prepared before reading. Bring your supplies before you cuddle up in a corner and binge read this book - have the extra panties at the ready, have your box of tissues, have the stress ball - you'll need them all. Yup this is 100% a book that I’m not ever going to forget and is always going to be in the back of my mind. I’m still trying to piece together what I just read and how freaking amazing this rollercoaster is. Cannot wait for the next book in this series. That freaking cliffhanger is going to hold me by the throat until I get more!!!!
I read the first part of this series back in October and fell in love with Jace, Lucas, Cole, Tia and Harper almost instantly I love their relationship and chemistry even though Jace was against them all sharing her to begin with but watching their relationship grow stronger in this book made me smile with all their interactions with each other. I enjoyed how much they love their children and Tia, how much they want to keep her safe from the troubles in life and not stress her out. I may not agree with them keeping secrets from her to do this, but they have her welfare in mind while doing it.
I’m also slightly mad at myself for not finishing the rest of the Secrets and Lies series!!! Especially since Bren played such a major role in this book. I feel so horrible not knowing his or Sky’s story, but seeing how much he loves her and wants to protect her makes me want to pick up their book now!

There are very few extremely few dark romance books that make me cry. And brutal secrets hold the number 1 position for it. This book started off at a pace I knew would be. Lucas , Cole , Jace and Tia with their babies are in the perfect sync of their lives , but don't be fooled.
Everything is not what it seems and this has me wrecked completely!! I don't know how to say anything else.
I so so so love this one. Can't wait for the conclusion!

I wasn’t ready to be done with this family and BJ knew and she delivered.
We get so much more spice but now we have a happy family, a side of mystery, and let’s through in a long lost mafia family connection.
I am so glad we don’t have to wait long for book two because I could not put this down I devoured it in just hours and now I need more.

This was a steamy, angsty, and heartbreaking read. BJ Alpha once again has written an amazing story that makes readers go on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Brutal Secrets is correct for this story as it was brutal on my emotions and the cliffhanger was heart wrenching.

Oh my gosh! So good! In the previous books, Tia moves in with 3 men and it’s a why choose/ spicy fest/found family bonanza. They have two little girls: Harper & Amelia. All of them had to grow up with some sort of trauma which has brought them all together. But danger is lurking and their lives are never just normal. This series contains some suspense too and it’s just so good! And the last part was so emotional.
BJ has a talent of providing really good spice and an equally good plot/storyline. The books are shorter and don’t drag, which I love too!

I was lucky enough to have the honour of reading this book recently. I am obsessed with the storyline, the twists, and the secrets of this book. The devotion these main characters have towards each other is next level, and I was here for it all. I rarely cry in books, but this author knows how to write! She uses her writing to take you to another world, one you dont want to leave and hope all will be ok. Without spoiling anything, I am in desperate need of book 2, so I can feel at peace. If you haven't read anything from this author or this book, you need to get onto that!

4.5⭐️ and just WOW!!! I need book 2 and I need it NOW!!! I received this ARC yesterday and had to get straight into it after reading the first Duet, I needed part 2, and it did not disappoint. I still have my own questions unanswered, and some answered, "I do have my own theories about what is to come, but...🤫🤫🤫 this book completely blows my mind. It's dark and brutal, but oh, so good. The love of the characters shines through, and I hope everyone gets what they deserve in the end one way or another 🤫😉

Hidden and brutal devotion was the first book I read by BJ Alpha. When I found out that she was making another duet following the same characters I was super excited Brutal secrets is the first book in the second part of this series. Now that Martin is gone not all is going well. There is danger that follows Tia, Harper, Mia, and the guys.
The great thing about this is it crosses over her other series While I still haven’t finished all of the secrets and lies series I am close to being done. And I loved seeing all the characters I know and love. About 20% and I had a feeling I knew how this book was going to end and she took it further than what I predicted and I did not see that ending happening and now that I’m left on a cliff I need the next one as soon as possible… the wait begins.

I’m calling this one party in the front and drama in the rear😳🤣 the first half is a smutty good time with Tia and all her boys filled with amazing dirty talk and all the breeding. The second half becomes this roller coaster of drama and emotions I was not ready for.
Having the brutal world collide with the secrets in lies world was brilliant and I loved every second. This book ends on a real doozy of a cliffhanger, but don’t worry the second book is coming quickly.
