Have we met? No? Well, that's a shame, but let's fix it.
I'm a former firefighter and EMS guy who traded emergency calls for romance novels. These days, I write stories about bad boys, billionaires, military heroes, and the kind of men who occasionally make questionable decisions before finding their way back to what matters most. Love.
I live in Texas with my wife, our three kids, and enough animals to qualify for a small petting zoo. Life is loud, busy, and wonderfully chaotic, which is probably why I enjoy disappearing into stories where love somehow manages to win in the end.
At the heart of every book I write is the same belief: life can be hard, but a great love story reminds us that hope, healing, forgiveness, and second chances are always worth fighting for. And to put your mind at ease, I don't use any AI in my books. They're all fully flawed and done by humans. No way in hell I'd give my job to a machine when it's the reason I get up in the morning. So put that worry to bed.
Instead, grab your favorite drink, find a comfortable spot, and stay a while. The real world will still be there when you're done.
This is book 12 and an interconnected standalone in this series. While it can be read as a standalone and be completely enjoyable, if you at least read book 11, “I Choose You” first, you will get an even more enjoyable experience reading this one. Book 11 is the story of Kaden and Brooke. Kaden is the twin brother to Kody, who is featured in this book.
I loved Kody from his appearances in previous books in this series and was so excited for him to get a book. I was seriously hoping that him and Mercedes would end up together, and I was not disappointed with their story at all!
You go on an emotional adventure with this enemies-to-lovers, forbidding love story! Kody and Mercedes were oil and water, but their chemistry was undeniable; their souls two magnets that couldn’t be separated no matter how hard they tried.
I was shocked at the way that Kaden reacted and I almost lost my love Brooke with the way she treated Kody and Mercedes, but she redeemed herself. I was happy to see that Kody and his dad were able to mend things and I loved that his dad didn’t take their news as bad as I thought. I definitely didn’t expect Mercedes’ mother to react the way she did, that was a total shock to me. I honestly had the feeling that both or one of their parents had hoped they would get together after forcing them to work together.
I loved everything about this book and the way that Kody finally found his light to come out of his brother’s shadow. The only thing I wish would’ve happened is that he or Mercedes (in defense of how Kody was being treated) would’ve made it clear to his father.
I used my KU subscription to snag the deleted scene at the end and I was happy to get some of what they went through while planning their parents wedding and seeing Kody’s thoughts about Mercedes. I’m excited to see what Weston Parker brings us next.
I received an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.
Kody Wagner, king of one-night stands, is on the prowl at his father’s wedding reception when his new stepsister Mercedes Helton intervenes to protect her 21 year-old cousin. There is absolutely no love lost between these two, but the snarky banter turns into foreplay when all the guests are gone, then the heat rages though them both as they combust into orgasms.
The next day, Mercedes tells Kody that his father offered her a job to reorganize the Wagner Industries’ practices and procedures, which sends Kody off the deep end because he wants no part of her working at the company he and his brother Kaden will take over. But, because his father is still in charge, Mercedes arrives on time at the office to implement her strategies and torment Kody.
Ooh, naughty Weston Parker serves up some extra hot scenes with our couple as they play the push-me pull-you tangled game of wanting each other sexually and keeping it a secret from their family in this fast-paced, unputdownable story, which is a sequel to I See You, featuring Kaden and Brooke in the previous Wedding Bells Alpha novel. But while we readers yearn for their HEA, we are met with gut-wrenching angst as family members clash over what they think is “seemly” for a couple related in marriage but not in blood, history, or experience. Can there be a Christmas miracle that will allow love to heal the wounds?
If you are looking for a delicious plot line and strong characters set against a Thanksgiving and Christmas backdrop, grab a copy of All for Love, settle into your favorite chair with a holiday libation, and enjoy!
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily offer my honest opinion.
Kody is at the wedding of his dad who married Mercedes’ mother. So, they are now step-siblings, but not by blood. They really can’t stand each other. He also has an identical twin brother, Kaden, who has a different attitude on life. Kody is trying to find a hook-up since he got stood up by his date, but with no luck. He goes to Mercedes younger cousin, which Mercedes stops him from doing. He’s standing there and notices Mercedes in a different light. She also thinks he’s good looking. Oh my, they hook up after the wedding. Kody and his twin, Kaden, work at Wagner Industries, the company his father owns, whose been grooming them to take over their whole lives. Now she slips and he finds out that his dad gave her an offer to work for him, too. Kody is not having any of this. Mercedes right now works as a consultant in corporate administration and organization. How will all this awkwardness work out going forward? The two of them face all kinds of obstacles in this story, even with themselves. The steam and longing between them fall off the pages with every word. There is so much more emotion to this story than you can ever realize. It’s a tearjerker for sure.
This book was a bit of a taboo-seeming twist on an enemies to lovers romance. There’s chemistry in spades between stepsiblings Kody and Mercedes, and what starts out extremely negative gets completely turned around by Cupid. I loved the way Mercedes inspired Kody to want to be even more than he already was, and how, when she needed him, Kody was always there for Mercedes. I think the thing I had the hardest time wrapping my brain around was seeing characters I adored in the previous book behave so bitterly and hatefully in this one. I was so glad when the author gave us their change of hearts and set us up for the anticipated Happily Ever After. Now, I desperately don’t want this to be the end of the series, but I didn’t easily recognize anyone who could step up as the lead of the next book. My fingers are crossed that there are many more books to come after this. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.
Kody and Mercedes have everything going wrong with their potential relationship. They are sworn enemies. They are such opposites - she wants a long-term relationship an he loves to be a player. And the final one is the kicker - her mother and his father just got married. This relationship is strictly taboo. Or is it?
They didn't grow up together, so they don't have that issue hanging over them. Even if their families think it's wrong for them to be together. They keep finding a way to be together. Like they are obsessed with each other and they can't stop being around each other.
Kody was a jacka$$ in the previous book, so I loved his redemption in this one. I also love that we got to see much more of Mercedes. She was just a secondary character, but in this one we see her as the strong one in this relationship. They have chemistry up the wazoo and you will love how they fight for each other. Swoonworthy again, Weston!
Another great addition to the Wedding Bells Alpha Series. Book 12 in the series but can be read as a complete standalone. A forbidden-ish romance starring Kody and Mercedes. They can’t stand each other. He is a player, and she is looking for a long-term relationship and to make matters their parents just got married. So, they now must be around each other more and then his father decides to give Mercedes a job which makes Kody’s blood boil. The company was supposed to be his and his brother’s and now Mercedes was thrown into the mix. The chemistry between Mercedes and Kody was too hard for them to ignore. No matter how much they disliked each other, they kept coming together. It was like they were obsessed with each other. They kept being pulled back to the other. Their story will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride that will be worth it when you are finished. Highly recommend this and all his stories.
Talk about an emotional roller coaster!! It was a first in the taboo arena (for me) but it turned out really sweet. I didn’t know which I was going to lean with this. But glad I stuck it out. That ending -awe. I have a few favorite moments (SOS-melt my heart). And few I had to contain myself because I tell you-some of these characters really tested my inner dialogue. Like you really just said that (insert a w.t.h. face here).
A formed family by marriage. Twin sons (one with a girlfriend and the other a player). And a daughter. Except they aren’t related by blood. Mercedes and Kody (the main stars of this story) have a lot of chemistry. Not really an enemies to lovers but definitely a forbidden (taboo) romance with spice. It does have a HEA.
Overall really enjoyed it.
I received this as an ARC and leave this review voluntarily.
5 star book all the way for me! Love this series/family
Kody and Mercedes break my heart, they never would have met but, their parents were going to marry each other, yep, his dad is marrying her mom. They tried and tried to break up; it just never could stick for long. These two are so crazy about each other; they tell each other things they've never told anyone before! Kody and Mercedes are adults, have no history together and fell head over heels without any warning! His twin brother along with his girlfriend attacks them and tell them they have to STOP. They were on an extreme roller coaster ride and they both want to get off, they are not siblings, right? Why can everyone else be happy in love, but nobody wanted them to be? Who was being the selfish ones, them or their family? I just want to give them a big hug, and tell them all will be ok, but will it?
Kody and Mercedes are about to be married, her mother to his father, which makes them technically step-siblings doesn't mean that their chemistry isn't palpable and off the charts. When Mercedes is offered a job at his father’s company neither Kody nor his twin brother are happy about it.
Kody and Mercedes may be like oil and water but they are happy that their parents have found love and are happy together. Whilst working together to help plan the wedding their chemistry is hard to ignore but.....
They try to stay apart, but some things prove easier said than done are they destined to be enemies or can they find a way to be together?
I enjoyed this emotional rollercoaster, it has great characters, hot chemistry, and lots of angst and turmoil. Their love is strong can they have their HEA?
This enemies to lovers story has a taboo twist to it. What happens when step siblings fall for each other? Hooking up once after their parent's wedding could be deemed a mistake. But what do they do when it keeps happening and they can't seem to stop themselves? Kody is the black sheep of the family with a reputation as a womanizer, the screw-up who needs to grow up. But is that reputation fair? It takes Mercedes to see a different side to him - the side he's never let others see, including his twin brother. Plenty of drama to this story, with some serious chemistry. The story was probably longer than it needed to be to do the story justice but still entertaining. Found myself rooting for these star-crossed lovers to find a way towards HEA.
This was an amazingly heartfelt romance for Mercedes and Kody...newly step brother/sister that hate each other, that find the chemistry too hard to resist. They really don't like each other, or what either stands for...but they just can't stay away from each other. When Kody's twin brother figures out what is going on, he loses his mind and insists they stay away from each other. I absolutely loved the feeling and angst that the author poured into each of these characters as they fought internally with their own emotions. As you read the novel, it really isn't clear if Mercedes and Kody will ever be happy. I won't ruin it for you, but the roller coaster of emotions was real. Well worth the effort of reading it!! I received this book as an ARC for my voluntary review.
You know those books that your book bestie shoves into your hand yelling “OMG you need to read this book! It’s going to break you in the most tragic and wonderful way! I sobbed for HOURS!”
This is that book. And let me tell you… I read it in less than a day… and I SOBBED. Ugly horrible sobs. But the story was that beautiful.
Weston was able to twist and turn this story in a way that you were never fully sure how it was going to end. Ok I knew how it would end. But not how they would get there.
Spending some time thinking things were taboo (they weren’t) and a lot of hurt feelings made this story even more emotional.
Do yourself and your book bestie a favour and read this!
What’s better than a forbidden romance? A forbidden romance with a reformed bad boy.
Kody is the bad-boy twin, the master of the one night stand. Mercedes is his new step sister who is a people pleaser. The two, despite their best efforts to resist the pull between them, find themselves inexorably drawn into a passionate and tumultuous relationship.
This book is a rollercoaster ride of emotions as Kody and Mercedes grapple with guilt, judgment, and the undeniable chemistry that binds them together.
I really loved how the novel challenges everything the reader thinks they know about Kody if they read his twins story. Kody is definitely the black sheep of his family which I didn’t expect from Kaden’s story.
This is another Weston Parker novel that I didn’t want to put down.
This is the latest in this series, and while you can read it as a standalone, it does involve characters from the other books, so would be best read as part of the series, especially as this book involves the second of the Wagner twins, Kody, who is still having issues with his new stepsister, the uber organised Mercedes. It all starts at their parents wedding where Kody is looking for his latest one night conquest and Mercedes prevents him from trying it on with her young cousin. Do they really hate each other, or can their attitudes be hiding a mutual attraction? Would they, or anyone else, care that they are now step-siblings. A great story with lots of twists and turns, I really enjoyed this book which I received as an ARC
I really love step sibling books. What I don't love is how at least one parent has a cow about how "wrong" the relationship is. I loved how Kody handled the situation. I don't agree with some of his decisions, but forcing the family to see how miserable he and Mercedes were without each other was just what was needed. Mercedes irked me some because she was sacrificing herself and her wants to make everyone else happy. She needed to grow a backbone and she finally did! Yay! Anyway, this was an amazing book. You will just love it! I received an advance copy for my review, and I purchased a copy because I love it that much.
I really liked this read, and getting to know more about Kody and Mercedes. They have this intense dislike for each other and that adds to their fire. It's a journey for them, from hate to tolerate to much more. There's more to Kody than anyone knows and seeing that side helped me like him even more. There are extreme ups and downs, outside interferences, a growing connection, sweet and heat. I wasn't a fan of Mercedes mom at times, and to add, I struggled with Brooke in her book but she landed at the bottom of my list in this one. I felt for Kody and Mercedes and loved their story.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
All for Love is a standalone book which is about Kody and Mercedes. Kody is Kaden's twin brother if you read his book you will know. This book is about them being enemies to lovers and the most twisted plot is that they are forbidden to each other as they are related as step siblings due to their parents who got married recently. All the twists in the stories were worth seeing how they supported each other and their chemistry were splendid. Love the book from start to end, I literally devour it in a couple of hours. Can't wait what is next from Weston Parker. Highly Recommended!!!
Kody and Mercedes finally have their story told in this book. I really appreciate connected books so the characters personalities and storylines are revealed. I like how these enemies are placed in scenes that showed how their relationship. The banter between Kody and Mercedes is very entertaining. I liked how quick witted they are. Their attraction was a sore spot for Mercedes but the heart wants what the heart wants. Kody is a much more thoughtful, loving and responsible man then most people give him credit for. The way their story was presented made this a very good read.
This ARC from Bookfunnel is very good read. My review includes my thoughts and feelings about this book.
Kody changed. He fell in love. He had never been in love before. Mercedes did that. She was the shining star in his life. She was in I Choose You, as was Kaden, Brooke, Margaux and Kody. I liked Mercedes in this book. She was not in I Choose You a lot, as she was a secondary character. I didn't have much of an opinion until now. But Kody and Mercedes grew on me. And I actually ended up liking them. Especially after Kody found himself. I also agree with having the "kid" talk in the relationship. It's better to find out early so decisions can be made. I made that mistake with my ex-husband. I wanted kids. He didn't. It put a strain on our marriage.
Kody and Mercedes are at the wedding of their parents his dad and her mom. They’re technically step siblings and have a hate for each other that is unmatched. Their chemistry is off the charts. Kody’s twin brother is not very kind to Mercedes and neither of them are happy that she was offered a job at their father’s company that they’re supposed to take over. They finally come to terms with everything and let the sparks fly. This book was really good. It’s a stand alone in a 11 book series but you’ll see these characters pop up in the other stories.
Kody and Mercedes are at their parents wedding, and he is drawn to his soon to be stepsister. He is misunderstood and considered the black sheep of the family and a womanizer, but Mercedes sees another side to him. They are drawn to each other and love blossoms between them, but they are now stepsiblings. Will it lead them to happiness given their relationship to each other. This story kept me glued to the pages and cheering for this couple! I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
This is such a brilliant addition to this series. Kody and Mercedes are thrown together as they help to plan their parents wedding. His dad is marrying her mother. They really don't like each other but it isn't long before hate turns to lust and then love. I loved how they were together but Kody's twin brother Kaden isn't happy when he finds out that they are together. Can they make it work between them or will their family members pull them apart. A must read with a brilliant ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
First of all, I loved the characters and the romance. Mercedes really couldn't stand Kody and the feeling was quite mutual. Kody was a real ass in the previous book and I didn't really see him changing. He didn't seem to have a filter for his big mouth. Mercedes was sweet and so close to her mom, and a bit disappointed she had to share that with her new step-family. However, I thought they were making a mountain out of a molehill. These were grown adults who had just met! Who cared who their parents were married to. But I really enjoyed it nonetheless!
This is a well written enemies to lovers/taboo romance with strong characters in Kody and Mercedes. The author takes you into their lives with chemistry and obsession. He does a great job developing their story and paints his scenes perfectly. I enjoyed watching them come together.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This is a story of how to cope in a blended family. It also shows how people can evolve as they age. Kody and his twin Kaden have a new step sister, named Mercedes. . All of the characters are well developed and help you understand the family dynamic. There is pain, fear, understanding, love and ultimate joy throughout this journey with the family. Kody & Mercedes ultimately decide love should triumph against all. Who will accept it? Read this book to find out.... Loved it!!
I really liked this enemies-to-lovers step-siblings story. Billionaire Kody Wagner was thrown together with Mercedes Helton to help plan his father's wedding to her mother, after they just met and formed a mutual dislike for each other. After the wedding things got cozy. Then they realized that their unexpected attraction could ruin their parents' marriage. They tried unsuccessfully to end things before finally reaching their HEA. I would recommend this book to everyone.
5 stars I received a free copy of the lengthy steamy New York set novel All For Love: A Wedding Bells Alpha Novel: Book 10: by Weston Parker and this review was given freely. At times frustrating with steamy moments and a happy ending. Gratification-centered Kody becomes misunderstood and miserable when his irritation with his new stepsister Mercedes Helton leads to a strong attraction which Brooke and his twin brother Kaden shame and try to pressure them out of.
Mercedes and Kody are at their parent’s wedding. His father is marrying her mother and they don’t like each other. But he’s the black sheep but is he really? They are attracted and get together once as it’s taboo. But once doesn’t seem to be enough. They keep doing it but soon she sees the real him that he doesn’t show anyone else. Will this lead to more between them? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I had trouble getting into the story at first and almost gave it up. I decided to keep reading and am so happy that I did! I can't remember getting so mad at a story in such a long time as this one. The adults in the story were being ridiculous but finally the main couple got their happiness. I realized later that some of my feelings about the story were because I had not read the preceding story.
Great 12th book in the series. I've read so many of them. I love that you don't have to read them in order or that there are any cliffhangers. I love westons style of writing and he didn't disappoint with this book. This book is about playboy Kody and Mercedes. They meet at Mercedes mums wedding to Kodys dad! Now they have become step brother and sister. Hes arrogant and she's uptight. They hate each other, but there is a lot of chemistry. Thanks Weston.
