Tala Moore is back with another fast paced, $smut filled, shifter novella. Such a great, fun, fast read. Definitely read this series if you are looking for steamy shifter novellas!.

Part of the Shifter Obsession series each can be read as a standalone with a sexy shifter and the one who captures his undivided attention. Griffin sexy as all get out businessman not one you be on his bad side or to owe him monies, he is guarded, ruthless if need be doesn’t allow himself to get close to anyone because he has suffered loss and after losing his parents he pretty much keeps to himself until a man offers his daughter up as collateral. Laila makes you want to just reach out giving her a huge hug letting her know she will be okay especially with a father who doesn’t care enough about her he offers her up as payment for a loan he took out like she is nothing an object, disgusted with the man who accepts the offer like she isn’t anything, like she feels nothing, and he says he took the offer to keep her safe as if she is supposed to believe that. Griffin accepted the offer because he has never felt an intense attraction like he does to Laila he knows it is wrong but he tells himself he wants to keep her safe no matter how angry she may be with him but despite her father she loves him until she finds out the truth what did her father do to betray her, will she accept that Griffin really is looking out for her, will she ever believe he wants her for her or for payment, will he be honest about who he really is, will she believe him, and can their be more to what is brewing between them than just payment for a deal?

Griffin and Laila . . .
Joe Hart, Laila’s father needs to borrow money from billionaire shifter Griffin Crawford, and he offers his daughter as collateral for the loan, telling him Laila is his until he can repay his loan! Griffin is quite delighted to accept her while still being disgusted that a man would offer his own daughter in that way. He had quite a few vile and nasty words to call Joe Hart. (However, Griffin is imagining himself dashing out of the office with Laila in his arms and taking her straight to his bed… which to me sounds like he is no better than Laila’s father who would be disgusting enough to offer her in that capacity.) But Griffin and Laila are attracted to each other. Does he see her as his possession now? Will he keep her no matter what? Or will he give her the freedom she wants for herself and let her make her own decisions?
I don’t like this type of story line where a woman is treated as a possession to be traded and owned. It is demeaning, and I don’t care how gentle or kind Griffin is, his thoughts have identified him to me as a predator. I don’t care if his past made him that way. We all have a past and can hopefully still control our baser instincts and our behavior. Anyway, the author wrote the story well. I just don’t like the concept behind their “business” transaction.

Ok Ok I know that there have been a bunch of these books coming out and this one is like the others with the hot instant one look and you know that there's going to be some steamy romance in there, but this one also has a different type of feel to it since it is about addiction, death, insecurity due to past trauma, and of course poor and wealthy.
The fmc is a sassy one, but there's not much detail with her looks, or how she is in the situation she's in until the end almost, and I just felt that there should have been a deeper dive into how she got where she was put up as collateral.
The mmc should have also been described better IMO and that even with his past trauma he should have had better instincts given that he's a shifter.
Ok since I gave my 2 cents worth, there are some really steamy parts, and we all know that we totally enjoy those, and there's also some artsy hobby stuff that I am sure some of us can relate to but IDK, this just wasn't as good as the other ones before it.
This is a ok read, and yes if you're following along with all of the other ones in this series, then you need to read it but if you just want a couple hour read without having to really focus on everything that's going on in the story then this is a book just for you.

Possessiveness. When Griffin meets Laila life freezes and he is absolutely consumed by her. Laila notices things about him that no else does, while he offers her the security and comfort she has never had.
‘ A dream come true, but in a cage? ‘ Laila.
What will happen if Griffins obsession towards Laila gets to much and she chooses to leave..
I hope that I summed up this story a little without giving it away. A short, steamy read. I loved that although is was short and sweet, it didn’t feel rushed and we was still able to amerce ourselves into Griffin and Laila’s story. Plot twists and spice.
The only thing I’m a tiny bit disappointed by is that they are shifters but we don’t get much of the shifter / fantasy side in the book, I just wish there was more then a few moments.
However, I would absolutely recommend if you want a quick, steamy read completed with HEA.

Laila's not impressed with what her father's done and makes it clear when she gets to his mansion that she's not a bargaining chip / trophy / object to be used; no matter how Griffin makes her feel.
Griffin's plan is to make her realise she's a prize that he wants to treasure, sensing that she also feels the attraction that he feels. He lost his parents when he was young and wants to ensure he won't lose Laila, but will his overprotectiveness be too stifling for her?

This is Griffin and Laila's story. It starts with Laila's dad using her to get money to cover his debt so he doesn't lose his house. Griffin owns a security company and is disgusted by her dads proposal but takes it because he is intensely attracted to her and wishes to keep her safe. They grow close and realize they care about each other but will Griffins need to keep her safe chase her away? And what will happen if there really is a hidden danger lurking out there who could take her away from him for good? I recommend you check this one out if your curious to find out.

The Shifter Proposal by Tala Moore was a great read this short story draws you in from the start. In this story we meet Laila and Griffin
Laila accompanys her father to go see Griffin to save their home from debt. The father offers Griffin his daughter Laila. Griffin accepts because he feels a connection with Laila. They both discover the instant attraction and mate bond they share. It could not go anymore wrong for Laila because she is kidnapped no thanks to her father. I was excited and was rooting for them the ending was beautiful.

There wasn’t much mention of being a shifter in the story but despite this there was a lot packed in to this enjoyable short read with a HEA.

This was a quick read filled with lots of smut! I liked that Laila was a strong FMC and didn’t let Griffin walk all over her.
Griffin is your typical strong, possessive, alpha male character but has a sweet side just for Laila.
I did wish there was more shifting/wolf story line. There was only one scene and you didn’t get any detail on what his wolf looked like.
But it does have a HEA ending which always makes for a good way to end a book!.

It is very entertaining and enjoyable read.
It’s shifter romance but is really not to much “typical “ shifters story. Is no pack, no alpha only mates.
The destiny from first glimpse on fated mate. Some family tragedies lurking from the past but eventually secrets are revealed and happiness comes in spades .

There are bad people plotting in the background. Griffin is smart though. He and Laila give each other amazing gifts of each other.

This is a short, fast paced and steamy story with strong characters in Griffin and Laila. It's an insta love with a smokin hot chemistry. It's an entertaining story with perfectly painted scenes, moves quickly and smoothly and is a terrific read.

Another good quick read by Tala Moore. Instalust because they are fated mates.

It’s a great story. This feels like Griffin cannot live without Laila, cannot function without her! In fact, he is desperate for her.
I think that this is one of the best of the series and has everything that you need to enjoy this book.
Oh… if anyone is a comic book fan then you will appreciate this story as it has a definite Batman vibe about it… with a twist!

Lexi's father owes money and she is the collateral that her father puts up. Gabe a billionaire shifter takes her as payment. Gabe is haunted by his past and unwilling to endure loss again. Can Lexi get him to take another chance on them? Very good book that you should definitely read.

Another enjoyable read in this series Shifter Obsessions. This is book seven. An enjoyable alpha male and the woman that captures his heart and is his fated mate. Their chemistry is steamy. The story is quick and easy to read.

Laila and Griffin, I've got to say, have my top favorite story from the Shifter Obsession series. Feelings and the situation becomes complex and their story and relationship progresses. It is a short, fast paced and very steamy read that had me hooked.

This is the seventh stand alone story in the "Shifter Obsession" series. It is fast paced and a fairly short and quick to read. The story is about Alexander and Laila, a passionate shifter and a feisty curvy lady. It is an intriguing read with suspense, passion and steam.
