Wow! the secrets, the drama, and Elim!
Good lawd! This book right here was such a great read.
Elim and his momma drove me crazy. The desperation and determination to force Shayne and their kids to be with him made me sick. Caterina is a pos for the conniving ways she has. She has Elim on a tight leash and anything she says he will do to receive mommy’s approval.
Thank God, little storm was able to call Wood and initiate the process of their rescue from their deranged daddy and even more deranged grandmother.
Wylde should have known off the jump that ain’t no way on earth would Shayne willingly go back to Elim after all her attempts to escape and start a new life away from his demented butt.
Wood came through and realized how wrong he was to judge Lishan from what he saw her doing at that party. He realized she had to do what she had too, in order to provide for her sick granddad, Misael, and her 3 younger siblings.
I was so glad he took them out of the slumps and gave them the living environment they deserved.
The revelation of Shayne and Lishan’s relationship really answered some questions but I’m glad it only made the ladies bond even tighter. I also love the fact that they both are expecting !
Waker, Wood and Wylde’s pappy makes me sick. First off, why is he so hung up on Wylde and his ex Kaiori being together and then the way he just threw a monkey wrench into the Katri family business is really bs! No wonder Waker has such a hard on towards his brother Rich, I figured the secret woman Rich spoke of with Wylde was the catalyst between Waker and his issues.
Now Elim is a force to really be reckoned with! He needs to be dealt with once and for all bc he can’t keep coming back and ruining Shayne and Lishan’s happiness. I’m hoping they escape him once and for all.
The 2 revelations revealed at the end have me shook. Especially the bomb Noemi’s sister dropped on Wood. I’m hoping Rich pulls through and I hope his revelation to Wylde doesn’t change how he feels for him.
Excellent book! I’m anxious for part 3 and I can’t wait to see what’s next for these Katri brothers and how Shayne and Lishan come back from encounter 2 with Elim, the devil himself! 10/10 stars!

Ok Now
This part two had more and more drama than the last one. Elim was on bs this whole book & I was glad when Wood and Wylde came to Shayne & the kids rescue. That lil surprise we got was wrong boo. Wood and Wylde definitely had their ups and downs with the women they have chosen but came out stronger. D seemed genuine but boy was I wrong and I’m mad I was. Noemi was in for a rude awakening and it came faster than I expected. Myra needs to find something safe to do and leave Lishan alone for good. I knew Misael knew something but I didn’t think it ran that deep. As soon as Wylde & Shayne were back on track here comes the unexpected bs that’s been lurking. Waker came in and did a bunch of bs. Kaori was on some other mess and I wish she would get a clue. Lishan has come a long way and I’m glad she has a real family now. That cliffhanger definitely got me on pin and needles I can’t wait to the finale. You did your thang boo. This chick that just blew back into Wood’s life is gonna have to show proof in black, white & red yeah I said what I said. I know the finale about to be everything and more. If y’all ain’t up on game about the Katri men y’all been sleeping on them fareal.

Oh myyyy word!!!!! I'm literally in shock! Elim just like a darn cat with 9 lives. He just won't go see his maker man! Waker on some other ish! No wonder he treated Wylde differently. Catarina deserved every bit of that hot steel she got; beating on those kids like she didn't have any sense! They were some sick folks. The old school folks always keeping secrets man and it eventually hurts everyone around them! Shayne and Lishan can't catch a break man! The one time Bentley wasn't around, the spawn himself had to show his face. Something tells me Kaori about to be on some extra b.s. with Waker and they gone really see how red the streets gone be painted. Waker done dealt with his own brother. Smh, if he think he is about to get away with that, hell bout to freeze over!

I'm so tired of her baby dady like why won't this man just go away like wtf is really going on. Why can't they just be happy. It's crazy how obsessed he is with her but don't want to do right by her. I had a feeling about what Rich revealed in that cliffhanger I just hate it had to come out during a tragedy. Poor Shayne and Lishan they can’t seem to catch a break dealing with toxic people from their past. There is about to be a war in the finale and I can’t wait until Waker, Katori and Elim get their karma.

Wow is all I can say!!!! Part 1 & 2 didn’t disappoint but I am so ready for Elim’s evil tail to be dealt with. He’s like an irritating ingrown nail that just keeps nagging and nagging. I hope the truth finally comes out about Rich and Waker. Awesome work, S.L. Partee, I can’t wait to read what happens next!

Speechless secrets
So many secrets coming to the surface I can’t even imagine the outcome. This book is sooo good but siblings, cousins, children all coming from left and right. Not Unc Rich with secrets and now he’s gone away. Oh and why didn’t no one verify if Elim ass was really dead smh I’m speechless

I’m giving it 5 stars because the writing is superb. I cannot stand Wylde. He didn’t even give her the benefit of the doubt before he moved on. When he found out what was up even though he knew she was drugged the whole time, he asked if she’s screwed him. Um noo idiot, she was assaulted regularly. And Kaori….soul is just all kinds of ugly

Wow, so many secrets! This part two is better than part one! I wondered when Elim was going to pop back up! A lot going on in part two! I knew Rich was Wylde’s father! Now Shayne finds out that Lishan is her sister! Can’t wait for part three!

I’m a fan of Ms. Partee. However, this series is draining. It’s just an overload. It’s always something going on and the characters are always into some stuff. It would be nice if they could be happy for at least one chapter of the book.
