I'm surprised at myself being this invested in something this ... dumb.
Like, it's just such a whack concept but it's been done really well.
I am entertained.
Super keen to see what happens to Supes, though. He's in baaaaaad shape.

মনস্টারভার্সের সাথে জাস্টিস লীগের ক্রশওভারের তৃতীয় ইস্যুর অপেক্ষায় ছিলাম। ডিসেম্বরের ১৯ এ প্রকাশিত হয়েছে Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #3।
পর্বের শুরু হয় সেন্ট্রাল সিটিতে। ফ্ল্যাশ যথারীতি একদম দৌড়ের উপর আছে কারণ সেন্ট্রাল সিটির জেল ভেঙেছে চুথুলু। মিথলজির দানব অবমুক্ত করে দিয়েছে সব অপরাধীদের। ফ্ল্যাশকে একইসাথে চুথুলু এবং ক্রিমিনালদের সাথে বোঝাপড়া সাড়তে হচ্ছে।
এদিকে মেট্রোপলিসে ঘটে গেছে খারাপ কিছু। গডজিলার ক্ষমতা সম্পর্কে ক্লার্কের ধারণা ছিলো না। এটম স্ম্যাশার নিজেকে দৈত্যাকারে রূপান্তরিত করে গডজিলার সাথে ঝুঁঝছেন।
এসব অঘটন-ঘটন পটিয়সি টয়ম্যানের কারণেই সব অদ্ভুত কাজকারবার চলছে। ভিলেনদের গ্রুপ লিজন অফ ডুম তাঁকে খুঁজে বেরাচ্ছে। ব্ল্যাক মান্তা অবশ্য এক কাঠি এগিয়ে ডেথস্ট্রোককে কন্ট্রাক্ট দিয়েছে টয়ম্যানকে ধরে আনার।
থ্যামিস্ক্যারাতে এক সুবিশাল ম্যামথের সামনাসামনি হয়ে পড়েছেন ডায়ানা এবং ডোনা। ওয়ান্ডার উওম্যান এবং ডোনা ট্রয় যোদ্ধার মতোই লড়ছেন ওটির সাথে।
স্কাল আইল্যান্ডে কিং কং এর সাথে অন্যান্য দানবের কুস্তির মাঝে গিয়ে পড়েছেন অলিভার কুইন। বনজঙ্গলের এরকম অভিজ্ঞতা গ্রীণ অ্যারোর হয়তো আগে হয়নি।
গথামে ব্যাট ফ্যামিলি ঐ দানবীয় বাঁদুড়কে থামানোর পর পরবর্তি পরিকল্পনা নিয়ে কথা বলছে। ঠিক এ সময় তাদের কাছে আসে দুঃসংবাদটি। রিভিউর তৃতীয় প্যারায় যেটার কথা বলেছি।
লাস্ট বাট নট দ্যা লিস্ট, লেক্স লুথর সন্ধান পেয়েছেন এই স্টোরিলাইনের অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ক্যাটালিস্টের।
লেখক Brian Buccellato গল্প জমিয়ে এনেছেন। পর্বের প্রথমেই ফিকশনের সুপরিচিত কয়েকটি চরিত্রের প্রতি ব্যারি অ্যালেনের ওমাজ ভালো লেগেছে। চুথুলুর মাঝে ফ্ল্যাশের গতি কমিয়ে দেওয়ার বিষাক্ত ক্ষমতা আছে এটা জানলাম। মনস্টারভার্সের বিভিন্ন দানব কত ভয়ানক হতে পারে, এমনকি জাস্টিস লীগের জন্যেও তা ইন্ট্যারস্টিং ভাবে গল্পে এনেছেন লেখক।
Christian Duce কমিক্স শিল্পী হিসেবে দারুন সব অঙ্কন কর্ম করেছেন। মনস্টার এবং লীগ মেম্বারদের বিভিন্ন মুভমেন্ট এবং স্বভাবসুলভ ভঙ্গিমা এই আর্টিস্ট চমৎকার ভাবে চোখের সামনে নিয়ে এসেছেন। এখন আরো এক মাস অপেক্ষায় থাকতে হবে চতুর্থ পর্বের জন্য।

This is up there with the Batman - Off World series. Both are fantastic series. The one negative is the Superman story. We all know what'll happen there.

We keep things rocking and rolling right along as it’s chaos everywhere and half the rosters of heroes in the dc universe are still barely anywhere to be seen. But you know who we see a lot of? Flash’s rogues! Geez, we see a ton of them and a lot of obscure ones as well! Turns out it the Cthulhu spider monster was dropped right on iron heights, and either the prison keeps all the prisoner’s weapons and gear on them or in the same place as they all already have their stuff. Which makes it very hard for flash as he runs into the toxin filled prison, from the monster, that also causes him to slow down. Luckily supergirl and green lantern weren’t too far behind to come on and assist him. But she had to quickly leave after she stopped hearing Superman’s heartbeat!
Speaking of Superman, finally we get another hero, none other than atom smasher! He comes in about the size of Godzilla and immediately takes Godzilla to the ground…only to get knocked back and chomped up. Supposedly atom smashed died right there…you’ve got to be kidding me. About this time Hawkgirl wakes up and everyone stops caring about atom smasher to get Superman out of there. Billy turns back into Shazam and this time runs the lightning bolt right through Godzilla like he should of done the first time. With a helpful lunch from supergirl, Shazam gets enough of Godzilla’s attention to get Godzilla to follow him out to the ocean.
Back in central city, captain cold, manta, and cheetah all show up looking for Snart’s sister. And are pissed to find flash trying to prevent her from escaping. They of course immediately blast him in ice, and green lantern is powerless to stop them as all of his attention is diverted to stopping the monster from killing him. Back on paradise island they are having little luck with the giant mammoth. Diana and Donna are able to pull an awesome move where the catapult themselves using a giant crossbow over to the mammoth in an attempt to wrap their lasso’s around its neck and communicate with it. That doesn’t work, but it does calm down and throw them off and turn away as its attention gets diverted by a different signal calling to it. Back in central city, flash is able to escape the ice by vibrating out and the is immediately able to help Hal, while letting the inmates escape, by using speed force tornados to distract the monster. Kara was also able to come on just in time to push it back.
Speaking of Kara, she is pulling overtime! One second she is with flash and green lantern, the next she is with green arrow when he calls for help when he realizes “monster” island is a bit to much to his liking. Oliver immediately noticed Kong as the alpha, and supergirl is able to fly in and approach him. But when kong reaches out to touch her, she punches him away…based on how mad Kong got from that…it may not have been the best move. As the issue comes to a close, we jump back to Gotham where they have the bat creature sedated until they can find out what to do with it or where the signal that is calling for it is coming from. Shazam shows up just in time to give Batman and the others the terrible news, but Batman refuses to admit that Superman is dead until he can see him. How many loopholes for avoiding death does Batman have in his utility belt right now? The real juice of the issue comes in at the end when we find out what that signal is…and more importantly who already found it. None other than Lex Luthor. It looks like the signal is coming from a giant cybernetic eye, more than likely mecha Godzilla.

I read it. I think the aspect of the story that is garnering the most attention is the apparent death of Superman. Given that Godzilla arguably is not so overly powerful when compared to Superman (depending on the version of each character), it just seems ridiculous that Supes would go down so easily... but even without Supes, Captain Marvel/Shazam or Supergirl or maybe even Martian Manhunter should be able to kill any of the Monsterverse monsters easily.
Still, it hardly matters--these crossover stories are just for funsies, and the story here is fun. There is a lot of entertainment to be had from the interactions of the characters, and we also finally get Kong in the mix. Sure took long enough! Kong gets a brief scuffle and an amusing face-off with Supergirl where he gets slapped around by the blonde instead of his usual manhandling. I think that big reveal at the end is one of the devices from the Monarch TV series, too, which was a little surprising.

Lo normal tras dos primeros números de tratar de asentar este mega crossover, pero un número ya totalmente divertido y dinámico con los héroes lidiando con los Titanes del MonsterVerse repartidos por su mundo. Y ya han llegado a Kong, potencial aliado para que la JL pueda empezar a presentarse como una fuerza pareja para que el Rey de los Monstruos no solo les vea como insectos que aplastar a su paso.

Another super fun issue. My son is loving this! We read it together and make the sound effects and he can tell me what every monster is and where it appeared and I can share the super hero info. Such a good time. This is how to do a quirky, dumb on paper story right.
