He’s the devil. I’m his maid. It’s Christmas Eve, and everyone else has gone home...
Domenico Bianchi is the most handsome man I’ve ever met. And the most dangerous. It’s no secret. The powerful mafia boss doesn’t hide who he is.
But he is hiding something. I can tell by the way he looks at me. There’s a forbidden desire behind those silvery blue eyes… And something else too. Something darker.
Well, he’s not the only one hiding a secret. I’ve got my own. An innocent crush on my older boss.
It doesn’t matter that I would shatter under his hard, tatted body. When we finally meet beneath the mistletoe, everything unravels. I see what he’s been hiding. And I finally understand.
I’m not going anywhere.
*Devil’s Mistletoe is a short sweet and spicy ott standalone 18,000-word forbidden age-gap cozy dark mafia romance novella with forced proximity, mature themes and a happily ever after. It’s a prelude to the Night Bloom Mafia series.
This was sold as a dark mafia romance... but it's not. That was pure smut. Barely lukewarm at that. What plot there was ran like a wild, mindless creature with no thought for continuity, it looked like it was written at one go. I got a few chuckles out of the j/p vibe of the H and some of his outrageous thoughts and actions. Quick, innocuous, forgettable read. Rating rounded up for some festive cheer.

What the hell is this? Pedophile, hypocrite, disgusting, and lustful are the few words I can use to describe this man. If I have read this right, he knew her before the age of 18! Yet, he lusted over her, saying he will wait for her. After she turned 18, guess what happened! Whoever voted this book five stars deserves to be jailed, you are one nasty individual to write and enjoy such a book. He wants her to call him daddy? I cannot do this. This book is UNREAL. People will write anything and everything these days. I wonder what was going through the author’s mind while they wrote about a book about a grown man lusting for a sixteen year old.
This book was gross and I don't understand people who liked it, HE'S LITERALLY A GROOMER ????????? I didn't even took the time to finish it, as it was already too much half way of the book. If only I could forgot what I read and just go back to my old life... I will never be the same after reading such a things... it wasn't a book but a social experience....and I hope no one will EVER romantize what happened in this 《book》 !!!
Sometimes things don’t go as planned but then again, they do go as planned by fate so please make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Vittoria is so sweet but living a life controlled by her mother forced to work as a maid in the Bianchi’s household, same place her mother works the same mother who is addicted to drugs, an alcoholic, entertain men, it seems her goal is to make her daughter’s life miserable but it isn’t much she can do and so she works draws her designs hopes to escape it all soon but when her mother is killed she lives now with the Bianchi household. Domenico sexy as all get out obsessive, extremely possessive, a little on the crazy side add to that ruthless, extremely dangerous not to add deadly every day and has set his sights set on Ms. Vittoria for a while now he has put things into motion to make her his permanently without his wife or her mother in the picture but do things work as planned, will they get together, will she be his little girl as he planned being the boss he usually gets what or in this case who he wants, and where are they headed happiness?????
I get the concept… dark mafia boss with arranged marriage. Has obsession with another girl. But so young… and the trafficking by her mom with her daughters stats.
I’ve taken courses to prevent this kinda stuff and watch for signs so it was a very hard read for me even if it wasn’t the main plot point.
Honestly skip this one, and that’s coming from a reviewer who read a story about doorknobs.
DNF at 22% The age gap is large which I was willing to overlook, but he wants to take her innocence, breed her and have her call him daddy… tipped me over the edge of ick. She’s not even 18 yet! And her mom has been planning to sell her virginity to someone… too many icks for me.
Mafia, age gap, niña dark, virgin, etc etc. Trae todos los aspectos dark que te puedas imaginar, muy rápido de leer y medio abierto el final pero bueno, que podemos pedir por 70 páginas.

This book wasn’t for me, so this review will be mostly negative, I’m sorry.
I don’t mind age-gap romances, but in this book the main male character is probably his 40s, maybe older, and he’s been interested in the main female character since she was 16. He did impatiently wait until she turned 18, so at least there’s that. It’s not really for me though.
Personally, I’m not a fan of Mafia romances, but I made a challenge with myself to read some of those Christmas themed books I keep seeing everywhere. There wasn’t much mafia about this book though, but I guess it’s limited how much mafia business you can get around in only 70 pages, so shooting a few people and stating that you own the city will have to do the trick, but calling this book a “A Dark Mafia Romance” might be a stretch.
… Personally, I’m so not into daddy books. I don’t judge those who are, but reading it makes me gag, sorry not sorry. Yet, I kept reading, it was only 70 pages after all.
It’s an easy read with some lukewarm spice, and has a lot of things happening in a very short amount of time, so you will not be bored. I couldn’t help but chuckle a few times during the read, because it was just so silly sometimes, but maybe that’s just how I react on these kind of books, like “Mr. Domenico, I’m scared my dress is a little… inappropriate?” *cringed chuckle*.
I don’t regret reading it though, it was entertaining.
Devil's Mistletoe : A Dark Mafia Romance by Roselyn Ash and Sasha Leone. This is Domenico Bianchi and Vitorria Bernardino story. Vitorria's mom is hired as a handmaid to Arianna Bianchi even though having a drug habit. She worked at the Bianchi Manor while Vitorria finished high school. Vitorria had hopes of going on to college, but her mom wanted her to work at the manor. Domenico has started noticing Vitorria and has her do side jobs for him. She keeps it a secret from her mom, because she would take Vitorria's money. She draws her designs in her sketchbook, buys material and sews her own clothes by hand. Vitorria's mom has plans for her daughter and Domenico has found out. Domenico and Arianna's marriage was arranged, so their marriage is only on paper. She is not being nice to Vitorria. Domenico Bianchi has been waiting for two years. What will he do? I really enjoyed this story. This is a steamy, age-gap, short romance.

Just in time for Christmas…a dark Mafia holiday story! 😬 . 17 y/o Vittoria Bernardino is leading a sad little life as a maid in Domenico Bianchi’s household. Her mother, also a maid and who entertains men and drugs, is Mrs. Bianchi’s personal maid. The two of them are up to no good. Since this is a short story, the author reaches the highlights quickly. Imagine you are an innocent young woman in a den of wolves - most of them are women, except for one. Domenico is a murderous, obsessive psychopath whose only tender thoughts are for Vittoria. He’s into Ddlg. And he has found his little girl. Enjoy this dark romance, filled with violence, murder, wicked people, etc. All that’s missing are Christmas songs. Bahaha 😂 These authors have a dark sense of humor.
I enjoyed this wicked story and I’ll read it again, as soon as the authors edit the serious number of typos found on this published version. I have received an ARC from Booksprout and I am leaving an unbiased review voluntarily.
I will preface this review with the fact that the main male character is an older man, and his interest was piqued in the female lead before she was of age, but he waited until she was 18 years old before acting on his attraction. He also likes her to call him Daddy, and for some, that may just be a step too far. If I disregard the actual ages of the characters (while still accepting it's an age-gap relationship), then it was an okay read. It felt a little rushed, and some of the behaviours and actions didn't quite make sense, but it's a novella, so I feel like that's why the book was lacking some details. The premise of the story had potential. A Mafia man is in a loveless marriage to a woman who disrespects him and has multiple affairs. When he meets his housemaid's daughter, he is attracted to her unique style and sweet naivete, and her vulnerability draws him in. However, when his wife notices the attraction, she helps the girl's mother sell her virginity online. When Dom finds out their plan, he has them both killed, leaving him free to be with his girl.
This is a short and sweet steamy OTT forbidden age-gap dark mafia forced proximity romance between Domenico and Vittoria. This story is a prelude to the Night Bloom Mafia series Vittoria is 17yrs old she lives with her drug addict mother in the Bianchi household where she works as a maid just like her mother. Vittoria has a crush on Domenico her powerful older mafia boss who she thinks is the most dangerous and handsome man that she's ever met. Domenico is an extremely violent obsessive sociopath who is into Ddlg and he only has warm feelings for his little girl Vittoria. Since this is such a quick read I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this short and sweet steamy OTT forbidden age-gap dark mafia forced proximity romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This was my favorite Christmas read of 2023, I had so much fun reading this book, Domenico and Vittoria are beautifully written characters.
Dom is morally grey but his intentions are good, he is very caring over Victtoria even if she doesn't know right away that he is obsessed with her. Victtoria is very taken with her boss, she believes that it's all one-sided and nothing will come about this crush but little does she that he is putting things into motion to be with her.
These characters have been through some stuff but they are going to make it through together, I liked the mafia aspect of this book, a little different from my normal December reads but It blew me away the most. It's a short read but It packs the spice, romance, and dark mob elements.
Highly recommend reading.
10/10.
