I've been a fan of the Bourbon Kid books from the start, and im always excited to see a new addition to the series. Unsurprisingly, this one lives up to the track record set by the rest in being all out balls to the wall insanity from start to finish.
It has all you'd expect from a Bourbon Kid book; violence, swearing, and laugh out loud humour. No spoilers, but there are also a fair few surprises in this one.
As I'll always say, if you haven't read this. Do it. And if you haven't read any of the series yet, buy them all and do it.

This book is a brilliant whirlwind of emotions.
The beginning is off the charts wild. And then the author gives us what we've been wanting for a few books. Goddamn luck and deus ex.

Anonymous is Awesome

Hasn't lost its touch one bit, I was expecting this addition to the series to be some how inferior to what this man has put out before, being that it's been some time since the last book. What can I say, another great one, with a semblance of sadness and hope, blended in with violence and the multitudes of things that make up this book. All I can do is just clap, can't wait for the next one.

I've been a fan of The Bourbon Kid series ever since I stumbled onto the first book of this series, The Book With No Name. It and the second book, The Eye of the Moon, are the two best books in the series, but the series is addictive if you like the way this particular anonymous writer writes, and I really do. I love the gritty atmosphere the writer creates and the badass characters that often have it out for each other. The series is full of violence, action, thrilling scenes, and of course grit. There isn't ever a lack of grit in this authors' works. I recommend starting with the first book and enjoying the ride.

It's a hell of a ride and funny as it always is. But there's just one problem: I and many other fans of this series are still waiting for the author to bring back a character who was prematurely killed off. Bring back Red Mohawk!
