Rate this book
What is a family to do when a certain Christmas tradition may or may not tell their future? A collection of short stories accompanying the first two books of the Christmas Charms series answers that question. Beginning with Fanny Gardiner's story as she meets and marries Thomas Bennet and ending with the story of what happens to Mr. Bennet five years after the events of Mary, Marry? Quite Contrary!, Charmed contains eight short stories surrounding Mrs. Bennet's favorite holiday tradition. Are the Christmas charms magic? You decide.

After delighting in the first two holiday romances in the P&P Christmas Charms series, I was tickled to pick up this third entry which turns out to be a collection of short stories and novellas MJ Stratton wrote about certain characters in the Christmas Charms Cast.

Some were short, but poignant like the story of Mrs. Gardiner's brother, sweet and fun like Jane and Lizzy's stories, and some were tender and heartwarming follow up tales like Mr. Bennet getting a later life romance. The mystical Christmas Charms continue to play their role in each tale.

Some are are standalone and some follow-up previous storylines so this shouldn't be read out of order in the series. For those who enjoy P&P variations and sweet romance set during the holidays, this series is a sure bet.
