Read book one before you read this- you won't regret it.
This author did a wonderful job. She threw me in the deep end and kept me glued all the way through. I actually inhaled this book and read it in one sitting.
I found this book pretty hard to review as I don't want to spoil it for anyone else.
The author managed to answer questions from book one and at the same time gave us other questions to ponder over. Gripping read!!!

Absolutely loved this story and can't wait for book three.

Received in return for an honest review.

This is the second book in a three-book series.

Twenty-something Leona is in a holding cell, about to be charged with a man's murder. Nate, her lover and steadfast ally, is determined to clear her name and, ruthless cop that he is, he'll do whatever it takes to make it happen. When the reason for Leona's actions becomes clear, the men in Leona's life (her brothers and Nate) take matters into their own hands to exact revenge and ensure Leona's safety. Meanwhile, Leona's parents are reconciling against her wishes, Leona's lifelong friend is behaving weirdly, and Marcus - the bad boy of the story - is making his presence felt. Add to that the heat between Leona and Nate, Leona's freaky nightmares, and various people doing dastardly deeds for personal gain, and you've got the makings of quite a story.

Unfortunately, for me the story didn't quite come off. In places the plot seemed a bit disjointed and random (eg what was the point of the talent show?). Some characters did stuff that was a bit odd. And some characters who seemed important to the plot weren't introduced until halfway through (eg Vivian, Dr Grants), while some who were introduced early seemed fairly irrelevant (eg Alyssa). Maybe I felt this way because I read book 2 without reading book 1 first, but in a series I think it's important to set the scene/characters/etc for readers who, like me, may have picked up the story at book 2.

There were definitely some inspired moments in the story (eg the mask, the basement-in-the-dark scene, the childhood memory). And there's a cliffhanger ending to hook us into book 3. But, personally, I like each book in a series to have its own mini-ending or conclusion so there's a sense of satisfaction as well as anticipation. For me, the ending to Irrational Behavior was disappointing because it was all cliffhanger and no satisfaction.

Overall, the story was a bit too narrative-y for my liking (telling instead of letting us 'live' what happens), and at times Leona annoyed me because she would think one thing then do a nastier/pettier something else. That said, Irrational Behavior is an easy read and I think it will appeal to readers who like romance with heat and some darkness/intrigue mixed in. Having read it myself without the benefit of Book 1 I think readers will get more out of it if they read Book 1 first.

My Short Synopsis:

This book is the second installment in the Incredible Dreams Series. This one begins right where the first leaves off.

Irrational Behavior starts off with a prolog that has you scratching your head and preparing yourself for another wild ride. Chapter one then begins with Leona in her cell. She’s being charged with murdering the man that has caused her and her family years of trauma and heartache. Leona and Nate continue their journey together with ups and downs and plenty of twists. He remains supportive and willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe while he continues his pursuit to avenge his brother’s death. The mystery and intrigue continues with Naomi and Marcus, which leads to a tragic event and more drama to follow. Meanwhile, Leona’s nightmares are beginning to become clearer to her and the reason for them throws readers for a bit of a loop.

My Thoughts:

My head is spinning…again! This book contains just as much chaos as the first book did, only this time around, it seemed to be a much more controlled kind of crazy. I was able to step inside of the story and follow what was happening so much easier this time around. In this installment, we are slowly beginning to see the multifaceted storyline come together. I also felt a bit more of a connection to the characters this time around.

This story is unpredictable to say the least! It contains such a variety that it keeps you guessing from beginning to end. From love, to romance, to death, to heartache, to dark undertones, to erotic and steamy love scenes between Nate and Leona, to suspense and mystery….it hooks you in and makes you want to know what the heck can possible happen next.

I am looking forward to the next installment. This one leaves you with a cliffy just as big as the first book. I am hoping that the next will help with the plethora of questions that continue to rattle around in my head. I recommend this to anyone that likes variety, mystery, and intrigue with some dirty talking erotic scenes thrown into the mix!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Leona and Nathaniel continue to develop their relationship while dealing with many mysterious, menacing foes. Demetrius, Marcus, Junior and Vivian put up quite a few barriers for Leona and Nate.

Leona remains concerned about her parents’ reunion and she fights letting her dad back into her life. Meanwhile her best girlfriends, and their beaus, are reunited and trying to support each other the best they can.

Irrational Behavior is the second book in a series, and it has just as much going on as the first book! The multiple story lines that were started in book one, Incredible Dreams, are woven together a little more in this book. The introduction of a few more family members and plot twists keeps the momentum going strong.

Just as in Incredible Dreams, this book has a big cliff hanger that hooks the reader. The author's descriptive writing style helps with the character development as does the detailed character interactions. The stories of Leona’s and Nate’s pasts and Naomi’s mysterious behavior as well as their family and friendships are kept balanced. It’s an interesting story of how relationships, both past and present, enrich and impact your life.

This was a fun page turner with many dark twists. Another great vacation read that will leaving you anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

I just finished reading Irrational Behavior by S.E. Felida, which is her second book in the Incredible Dreams Series. The title of the books says it all; Irrational behavior, that is truly is the best way to describe the way the characters in the book act. This book is a great love story about Nathaniel and Leona. But their story is one of the most complicated I have ever read. They have people trying to break them up, death of loved ones, childhood traumas, house break-ins, family secrets and so much more in their way. This book had so many twists and turns weaved throughout that you’ll keep wanting to read one more page just to see what happens next. This book also has some hot and steamy love scenes. So if you’re planning on sleeping don’t start this book at night, you won’t want to put it down! I have to say the only complaint that I have about this book is the cliff hanger at the end, but that is only because I wanted to see what happens next. My mouth was literally hanging open when I read the last paragraph, and can’t wait to start the third book to see how this turns out! Great book! Great series! I do recommend reading the whole series and not just starting half way through.

SE Felida is a breath of fresh air. Her writing is remarkable and her story realistic. This review is going to be short and sweet because this is a book you NEED to experience! If you have not read book 1, Incredible Dreams, then you need to get it like yesterday.

I love paranormal and fantasy, but its refreshing to get a normal read with out such an unrealistic relationship and insta love perfection. You will get your healthy dose of mystery and suspense while having your heart break for all that poor Leona has to go through. You get all the love and relationships that we all love, but just as you think you know what is gong to happen, you will be finding yourself picking up your jaw.

Book 1 leaves you with questions and you will get answers to those while also getting more questions to add to the list.

THERE IS A CLIFFHANGER!!! But if you do not pick up this book you will be kicking yourself for waiting so long once you finally do! This is book 2 and I cannot wait for book 3 to come out!!!!

Rating: 4.5 stars

Just when Leona finally started to believe that maybe, just maybe, her future was written in the stars - that she was one of those girls destined for a happily ever after - her life takes a dramatic turn for the worse and she finds herself standing face to face with the man who destroyed her childhood.

Will this brutal encounter push her into a nightmare world again, or is the love that she shares with Nathaniel going to be strong enough to keep her from turning into the person she hates the most, and erase all those bad memories for once and for all?

This is not a standalone book, you have to read Part # 1 Incredible Dreams, to get to know the characters and their stories (and you must).
Loved this story it was funny, beautiful, sad and exciting all at the same time. The characters drew you in from the start and it was a really good read. I would recommend this Story!

Irrational Behavior is the second book in the Dreams series. It is not a stand alone. You must read
Incredible Dreams first. Irrational Behavior starts where Incredible Dreams left off. We find out why Leona attacked Demertrius. Her family and Nate find out what Demertrius did to her when she was a kid. They all reacted in a realistic manner.

Nate and Leona's relationship is dealt some really hard things in this story. There is a lot of stuff going on in this story. There are a ton of twists and turns.

This story is well written. It will keep you guessing what will come next. S.E. Felida writes in such a way that you will not be bored and also surprised by what comes next.

The ending was crazy cliffhanger. I can't wait to read more when the story continues in Imperfect Past.

I reviewed this book for Just Another Girl and her Books blog. Wow, this book, like the first has a little bit of everything. It has mystery, love, friendships, death. Some questions from the first book are answered, only to have more questions pop up. Why is all this happening and who is doing it all? I hate posting spoilers, that's why it's a vague review (sorry lol), if I went into detail though, it would give things away because of all the twists and turns in this story. Nathaniel is amazing in this book as well. I feel bad for Leona and everything that she has had to go through. I love these characters. It does end with another cliff hanger, but I love them. I will be patiently waiting for the third and final book.

Going into this series was a bit of a task for me, I had a hard time connecting with the characters even with the great detail into their lives that was given... However, after a couple of chapters I found myself really enjoying the stories and the possibilities that this author was able to bring out---- Imagine your most wonderful dream coming strait from "Mr. Sandman" coming strait to life and into your arms..... and then your whole life that seemed completely normal, becoming your worst nightmare. This story is captivating once you are able to truly connect and will leave you asking questions like "could that really happen?"

I would give these two books a solid 4.5 stars!

It is perfect for a sit down and have your mind blown kind of day :)

S.E. Felida’s Irrational Behavior, packs a powerful punch. I experienced so many emotions as I read the book that I was hot one minute and cold the next. The author used the first person narration to deliver this powerful story giving it more of a kick in the gut. When I first began reading the book, I thought I was reading a funeral scene. I was shocked when it turned out to be a wedding, but as the story unfolds, I understood the reason for the unusual beginning. The story of Nathaniel and Leona is one familiar to a lot of women. I had one problem with the story, the abruptness of its ending. If this was a cliffhanger, boy, that was a steep fall for me. Highly recommend.

MY REVIEW OF S.E. FELIDA's Irrational Behavior
I was so looking forward to Book 2 of this series and I can tell you that I was NOT disappointed!! It starts off exactly where Book 1 left us, which is always a plus. The story definitely keeps you on your toes with all the twists and turns. Questions get answered in a wonderful A-HA kind of way, also adding more twists to the mix. I love Leona and Nate, I hope their Demons don't collide and destroy what they have. I personally can't wait to get into Book 3 but don't see how this amazing story can possibly stop at just one more book, that could be the greedy reader in me LOL.

Irrational Behavior by S. E. Felida is book number 2 in her Dreams series. This book

picks right up where book 1, Incredible Dreams left off.

Leona and Nate are constantly on a roller coaster ride in this book. Ghosts from both

their pasts emerge making their life hell. Secrets are revealed and lives are lost in

this gripping next installment.

Every time it feels like their love is going to pull them through, another road block

pops up and gives the readers a shock.

S. E. Felida keeps you on the edge of your seat in this book because you absolutely

do not know what is going to happen next.

Book 3 cannot get here soon enough!

I don't think I can handle waiting for the 3rd book! Such a cliffhanger!!! I was hoping it was out already..I'm telling you the suspense! is just killing me. The twists and turns and of course still hot steamy romance is fantastic. All I can tell you without ruining it for you is, not all you see is true ;) Trust me total page turner..I will be checking frequently for the 3rd book Imperfect Past.

Who is Nate..What really happened to Nai..Who planted the incriminating evidence? I need answers!!! Happy Reading :)

Well, it’s actually quite hard to review a book like this without giving away spoilers which would totally ruin this one for you and we don’t want that. The author will never disappoint us and always leave us gasping at the END. Yes we got some answers from the first book but got more quiestions with this one. Awesome characters. Definitely five Stars, can't wait for the next book.

I would like to say that this is the second book in a series. I think the first book was amazing. This book has blown me away. It picks right up where the other book left off. I love every character in this story. They all fit together wonderfully. I am in a book hangover now. This book is well written. Give this book a try.

I Love Leona and Nate’s story! They are such a “real” couple and go through a lot of the same things we all go through in our daily lives. It’s so refreshing to read a story that is plausible and not just full of fantasy. I can’t wait to get my hands on the final novel in this series!!!

Just when Leona thinks her and Nathanial will have their Happily Ever After, someone who hurt her in her past returns and threatens her. Nathanial is struggling with some of his own demons but he tries to protect Leona. Some truths come out about the stranger who is turning up masked in Leona's home and we find his ties to Nathanial. I couldn't put this book down it was so good. I read them both one after the other. This book does contain profanity and sex scenes but it is a great read. Will Leona and Nathanial be able to solve all their problems and get rid of the danger. Read this and find out.

There was many hard and tough roads with these characters. Some events might chance some lives and others emotions all over the place. Will Leona and Nathaniel get their happy after or would there be more trouble lurking around the corner. Love this book can't wait to read more future books from S.E. Felida!
