27-year old Maki Enomoto is done with relationships. One year ago, her terrible boyfriend made her the joint guarantor on a loan before promptly ghosting her with a mountain of debt. Now she just wants to be left alone to her quiet otaku life, working her office job to make her ex's monthly repayments, and devoting what scant little is left to her hobbies. Namely, her virtual boyfriend Allen-kun, who is hot, kind, and dependable in a way that real-life men aren't-least of all the hotshot young VP that keeps getting on her case about deadlines and deliverables. But when said VP shows up with a rather interesting proposal, Maki must decide if she's ready to roll the dice one last time…
FMC is a 27 year old who lives paycheck to paycheck because all she wants is to spend money on a game about her bias. She's an otaku and proud, in debt because of a sleazebag ex. Then she ends up in an arranged marriage meeting with her company's VP. He's notoriously strict but also super handsome. They end up married and he's like the ideal house husband and funds her life, WHAT MORE CAN A WOMAN WANT.
Cute moments: He jumps into water to save her phone, he cooks for her, the TEASING, ending kiss!
vol 1. I love these types of manga's. Kind of soap opera-ish and its basically close proximity relationship troupe. This one was pretty enjoyable so far. I am in deep with love and deep space so girl i get it... My partner is also supportive and he listens to me be excited about the game. He's Tsundere which is a common troupe and i prefer yandere but that is fineeeee. He teases her and its all very cute on her part. And we get a kiss.
Vol 2 pretty cute we get a flashback to their first meeting some bedroom time. The declaration of love is FAST but it is only 5 volumes. The art is pretty okay to me but I am still a sucker for these types of josei..
Vol 3 Rival has entered but so far respectful. I am loving all the consent and love being shared between our main characters. I am so here for this. He isn't even Tsundere really at this point he loves his wife and doing all the things for her.
Vol 4 and 5 we have very light drama from the ex, his bestie, and his dad.
Okay, this is a green flag josei, he is caring, loving, supportive and he fell first and harder. The art is just okay at certain times but I LOVED this.
To be honest having done some gatcha games I feel for those constantly trying to beat the dreaded RNG to get the best characters whether for stats or as Husbandos and Waifus as lead lady Maki Enomoto is shown to do in this series. In the mean time the VP of the company she works at is unexpectedly set up with her on an arranged marriage date leading to a meeting that works out for both of them. For greater details I would suggest reading the book yourselves. :)
One of my favorite things about this book is the odd couple dynamic of our two main characters as they get to know each other while slowly realizing there may be something deeper than just a façade they show the public (except at the office.) The other thing I liked about it is the reactions of these same characters in various situations which had me grinning throughout the whole book. If you are into RomComs this is not extraordinary but it certainly is not a bad series so far if you want to check it out.
This grew on me. I like how confident Maki is, even though she's also a bit of a mess. She's very fun and an easily likable character. Even though she wants to hide her otaku lifestyle from most people, she also owns it to those who know. Some of the more blatant otaku parts are a bit cringey, but overall I ended up liking her enough to get the second volume.
Ichika is...ehh, I'm on the fence about him. For the most part he's kinda bland, but then there are moments where the snark between them is firing on all cylinders and there's some good chemistry. He seems like he's going for alphahole-lite, because he's a bit of a jerk but then all tender. Dare I call him a tsundere? Maybe a tsundere-lite. His character design was a bit inconsistent, where sometimes his body is gigantic in proportion to his head. Maki's design is cute. Will give the next volume a try.
I devoured this whole series in just a afternoon it's a cute sweet slightly steamy romance. I loved the relationship between Maki and Ichika they just complement each other so well. It's only 5 vol but for a quick romance with a HEA I highly recommend. The artwork is beautiful as is the story.
alright I was not certain I would like this in the beginning, but the tsundere ML softens up quite a bit and the otaku FL is hilarious. the art is not quite my cup of tea, but that ending certainly was…!! (๑>◡<๑)

For the last few months ( almost a year now ) I’ve been in such horrible trading slump where I DNF a bunch of books left and right then I read this one and it kicked it thank you so much !
Very cute beginning to what promises to be a good Josei. Both characters are consenting adults. No slow burn here, just two people falling for each other and exploring their new relationship.
This is a feel good series with little grief and misfortune. I would list it as a cozy love that makes you feel warm and cozy inside. Love like this people dream of finding.
