This book presents itself as an open window into the unknown universe of the European Parliament. Accessible and direct, the book simplifies the inner workings of an institution that may seem distant with simplicity. Leïla Chaibi, the European deputy from LFI, offers a fluid and almost conversational narration, greatly facilitating the reader's immersion into this complex environment.

This book, which I discovered the author thanks to TikTok, turns out to be a pleasant surprise. Leïla Chaibi depicts her daily life as a deputy with clarity, sharing her discoveries, her battles, but also her frustrations.

She also provides a necessary reflection on the challenges of precarious work in the digital economy, an important subject that affects thousands of people in Europe and beyond.

It is an enlightening journey into one of the largest democratic institutions, narrated by a voice that is both activist and didactic.

It was fun and fast to read. But also sad to see how the people that we vote for, do not represent us. I am glad some people didn't lose their humanity and fight for the right things. Unfortunately, there are only a few of them.
