I've been writing as long as I can remember and all of my stories always held a thread of romance (even when I was writing about a prince who could shoot lasers out of his eyes). I love creating unique characters, love giving them happy endings and I even love the voices in my head. There's no other job I would rather be doing. In September 2002, when I got the call that Silhouette Desire wanted to buy my first book, Desert Warrior, it was a dream come true. I hope to continue living the dream until I keel over of old age on my keyboard.
I was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. I also spent three years living and working in Japan, during which time I took the chance to travel around Asia. I’m back in New Zealand now, but I’m always plotting new trips. If you’d like to see some of my travel snapshots, have a look at the Travel Diary page (updated every month).
So far, I've worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher and not necessarily in that order. Some might call that inconsistency but I call it grist for the writer's mill.
Last Psy-Changeling short story from the Newsletter Collection, this one is the epilogue to Grace & Cooper’s novella. I didn’t enjoy the wolf-wolf stories because the obsession with dominance and biting bores me silly, and this was one of the least interesting couples anyway, as they have no role within the main storyline.

This is such a cute little epilogue to Declaration of Courtship! It's lovely to see how Grave & Coop have settled into their relationship & I enjoyed seeing her meeting the other lieutenants
Epilogue for Cooper and Grace's story, but also a parallel scene for Hawke and Sienna's mating ceremony in Tangle of Need. How I do love this pair and was glad to get this extra time with them happy and in love and Grace so confident now.
Me gusta que la autora se tome el tiempo de escribir estas pequeñas escenas, todas las que llevo leidas son dulces y alegres, esta en concreto me parecio muy tierna.
I can't seem to get enough of these characters and story. Besides being a wonderful story teller, Nalini’s incredible imagination gives us so many different tidbits. It doesn’t matter if they’re short stories, novellas or full length novels. They are all full of beautiful descriptions and emotion. Thank you Nalini!
Two things that made me go full awwww by the end of it: 1) the actual story; and 2) the fact that Singh wrote this because a printing error in Declaration of Courtship (Texture of Intimacy’s epilogue was accidentally printed at the end of that novella) made the fans think they’d been cheated out of an epilogue. It wasn’t originally there, but she decided to write the extra content anyway. What a good author.
I’m so glad this story stayed in Grace’s perspective the whole way through. I wish we could have seen her and Sienna interact, given that Grace mentions she wants to see/meet Sienna, but unfortunately that is never shown. Hmph. The wrap up of this story was rather quick and abrupt imo, but I do so appreciate how Nalini Singh always makes it a point to mention and/or show how the couples are completely at ease with each other and can ask/tell each other anything. Guess who once again sat there with a ridiculous grin the whole way through.
This is a short story about Cooper and Gracie going to Hawke and Sienna's mating ceremony. It was sweet and basically just solidified Grace and Cooper's HEA. :)
Psy-Changeling #11a This short story takes place during Cooper and Grace's trip to Hawke and Sienna's mating ceremony, which happens during "Tangle of Need" Psy Changeling #11. It's a nice addition to the series. Enjoy!

I have chosen not to officially rate this as it is not a book but is a deleted scene with only a few pages. I did enjoy reading it and catching up with Cooper and Grace but can see why it wasn't necessary to the book it was originally written in. If I did have to give an official rating then would have probably marked it as 2.5 - 3 stars.
This short is a bonus epilogue of Cooper and Grace's story. I absolutely love these two and I loved reading about them happily mated and still so in love, it warms my heart.
Reviewed for THC Reviews "4.5 stars" “Dancing with Cooper” is a short story of about seven pages that takes place during Tangle of Need, featuring Cooper and Grace from the novella Declaration of Courtship. This story serves as something of an epilogue for their book. Cooper and Grace work in a fairly remote location, so they travel to Snowdancer pack lands for their alpha Hawke’s mating ceremony, where they get to reunite with their friends and packmates. Along the way, things turn a little sensual for them. I really enjoyed Cooper and Grace’s story, so having a short follow-up to show them after their mating was a treat. While Grace is still a bit shy, she’s found some boldness and confidence in her relationship with Cooper. It was nice seeing them interact with the other pack members, too. So overall, this was a fun, little, slice-of-life story.
Cooper and Grace are not a couple that I enjoy or even like. But this was a well written little snippet and I loved seeing more views of when Hawke was ambushed by all his lieutenants.
This was based at the time of Hawke and Sienna's mating ceremony and Cooper and Grace were on their way to the den. We got to see them ambush Hawke with the rest of the Lieutenants and Grace got to meet Alexei and the others. Alexei is a big flirt and mischief, I love him!
Then Grace and Cooper with Grace's family, then at the mating ceremony of Hawke and Sienna. It was a simple scene and a good one, I just don't like this couple.
It was nice to see the scene with the lieutenants in the clearing prior to Hawke and Sienna's mating from another perspective. A carefree Alexei made my heart hurt a little.
This is a bonus epilogue set during 'Tangle of Need'. Grace and Cooper are driving to Hawke and Sienna's mating ceremony, to meet up with the other nine lieutenants to surprise Hawke. It's a sweet peek at this couple several months after they have mated, surrounded by pack.
A really short story from the author's newsletter about Cooper and Grace's mated life. It takes place during Tangle of Need at the night of Hawke and Sienna's mating ceremony.
Grace and Cooper going to Hawke's mating ceremony. Both recently mated, wolves Grace submissive, Cooper dominant. We meet Alexei-the Russian lieutenant and Riaz Cooper's BFF. Hawke makes an appearance as does Grace's family all to make sure Cooper is treating her right.
Short snippet found in the newsletter about Cooper and Grace attending Hawke and Sienna's mating ceremony. I love the little side glimpses into the life of the pack. https://madmimi.com/p/f01944?fe=1&...
