Maddie never asked for the life she was given. She simply played the hand she was dealt. So when her sorry excuse for a father suddenly dies, she wants nothing more than to leave her old life behind.

But, with no money to back her, her options are very limited. Her only option is to go to the one person who should have been taking care of her all along - her mother. She's married to the president of the MC Outlaws. That's a motorcycle club. Maddie's never really been into that shit, but she doesn't have a choice. And surprisingly, she's going to come to rely on the Outlaws more than she ever expected.

Cole isn't the type of guy a girl should fall for. He's rough. He's demanding, and controlling, and he doesn't take no for an answer. But, Maddie finds she can't help herself. He's the club's VP, and so goddamned hot, he'd melt the panties off a nun.

She knows she should get some money under her belt and run. The past has an uncanny ability to always catch up with you. But something keeps her running to that sexy biker, Cole.

But Cole has a past as well, and when both of their pasts collide, nothing short of a catastrophe ensues.
Can these two tortured souls find a way to heal each other. Will Cole be her Champion?

Nope.

Too many coincidences, too many identical scenes, too many similarities to another book I know.

If your going to write a story, then by all means write a story, but don't use another author's entire storyline. Yes I heard this was changed, but the only change I see is that she changed it from mother to father.... everything else is pretty much still the same story line as Bella Jewels Story about Hell's Angels.

Yeah I'm sorry after talking to Bella I am not reading and supporting this author.

This whole book makes me angry! It is simply to much like something else to be coincidental and I will not, not review it because the author doesn't want that, as a blogger I feel slighted asking us to review something that is scene by scene another book, it's how I feel. I'm not posting on my blog or making a huge stink about it, it's just what a sham.

In regards to this book being the exact same as Bella Jewels's Hell's Knights… In my opinion about 70% was the same story line.
the last 30% went off in a different direction. It was really strange and felt like Deja Vu
Most scenes were similar, were they word for word? I don't think so,
but they definitely were the same scenes.
The Dad/ Mum situation. The Pimp. The Hero, even sex on the bike….
The scene in the fathers home where she washes her clothes, has a fight with the dad goes and cries, eats pizza with him, finds out he didn't leave her.. It's so similar..
She walking in on the hero getting a head job, fighting with the club whore….

Buying new clothes, the hero paying for her new leather….

Her freaking out after the sex on the bike…

I can go on but i won't
Personally I decided not to review or rate it. I'll leave that up to you.

This is Ella's wishes in regards to the the similarities….

I'd like to ask those of you who are still against this book to just leave it be. I don't need any nastiness surrounding my release and from the sounds of things, Bella is a lovely woman, and bashing my book in the name of hers is just going to cause more problems for her. I'm asking that you just leave it alone and let the readers decide for themselves.

So lets leave it up to you.

ARC provided by Author for Honest Review

After careful consideration, I've decided to let this book go. There is just too much controversy surrounding the plagiarism of Hell's Knight's compared to this, which I have not even read. Even so, considering this much negative attention, I've decided to skip this book altogether and get to my ARC's that are original and deserve my honest review. I hate having to do this, but at this point in the game it all becomes a he said - she said debacle and I'd rather spend my time reading than worrying about what I'm reading.

Thank you to the author for providing this copy, unfortunately at this time, this book is just not for me.

This book is just too similar to another biker series (that I love by the way) I've read to even enjoy it, every think from author name to characters to sex scenes to storyline is too close! Not for me. I need to read something that is new and not similar! Okay so you've all heard by now the issues win this book being very Similar to Bella jewels book.... Bella - Ella, Jewel - Stone.... Even Ella's name is similar! So by 20% in I'm already thinking are you freaking kidding me? Same history, same problems, same character initials, same sex scenes, same reaction to said sex scene, same history with her father, similar entrance into the club, same job, same, same, same, same, same. I think the only difference is about 10% of the book is not the same as Bella's MC Sinners series. I definitely won't be recommending this author, series and or further projects by Ella!

Sigh… Ok I sat on this for 2 whole days..

I wasn't going to say anything, but I feel like I have to warn people. I didn't know anything about this, I’m a bookcover whore, it looked pretty. So I bought it.
Then I started reading it… and got Deja Vu..

BAD!

So after reading the whole thing here is my honest opinion.

Ok here goes.

1st – The Synopsis is wrong.
It’s her Mum that dies, and she goes to her Dad who is the MC President.

2nd Remember the Déjà vu feeling I said before.
I had it for about 85% of the book.
I had it because I had read the book before. Except the book I read was Bella Jewel’s Hells Knights.
……..

After I had read it I jumped on here and found out I wasn’t the only one.

Apparently some things were changed, honestly it wasn't much.
Except Addi became Maddie and Cade became Cole.

I fully understand that typical genre’s are going to go down the same path sometimes.

Ie- College romances, 9 times out of ten the nerd virgin is the heroine,

Love triangles – usually one of the guys Is the “best friend”

Rom-Com the heroine always does something hilariously embarrassing

Bikers they’re always bad ass alphas’s.

Unfortunately there was just TOO many in this book.

The Names
The Junkie Mum
The pimp wanting revenge.
The Dad that wanted her all along
The Sex in on the Bike.
Her freaking out after the sex on the bike.
The club whore showdown
just to name a few...

So because of that I am not rating this book.

Honestly if I hadn’t read Bella’s book this book could have had potential.
I wasn’t overly in love with Maddie and Cole, and some of their scenes were just weird not HOT.

But yeah……. I’ll let you be the judge

To be honest, this book just didn't work for me. The writing in the beginning was super choppy for me and the story itself (including the sex scenes) just didn't sell me.

description

I normally have more to elaborate on as to why it didn't click for me but I can't even answer that myself. I just don't know.

description

*On a side note though, those of you not familiar with Lili St. Germain's Gypsy Brothers Series better get themselves acquainted!! They make an appearance in here as the rival gang to the Outlaws MC! They cause A LOT of trouble here. :)

Anyways, a lovely debut from Ella Stone but sadly did not hit my sweet spot for MC bikermen. I'm sorry! :'(

Ok, I didn't know anything about it being plagiarized or I wouldn't even have read it. Simply from a story perspective it was ok. My problem was the extreme violence that was written in a way that left me completely cold. I mean, if I connected at all with the story, if the writing was absorbing, I should have cared when s#*t hit the fan, right? Nope, it was actually rather boring. Same with the 'sex' scenes.
There is another book in the series, although this could be considered stand alone, so at least there's that. Not enough for me to continue with the series though.

Seriously, you want to write a book, then how about using your own ideas and not copying another author. You should be ashamed of yourself. Complete joke. I refuse to support an unsavory person and also have a problem with keeping my mouth shut. Appears you should be mailing a check to the author you stole from.

Deja vu !!!!!!!!

I downloaded this book since it was free and I love MC books I didn't read the reviews first which is unusual for me but I was out and just had my kindle on me. After just a couple of pages this book seemed so familiar, familiar to the extent where I knew what was going to happen next, I checked to make sure I hadn't read this before, I didn't think so but it was a little weird. Anyway I checked back and it turns out that it's basically the same story as Hell's Knights by Bella Jewel, even the names, Addi becomes Maddie and Cade becomes Cole, in both books her father is club President and Cade/ Cole is VP and again in both books her drug addict "parent" is dead and the drug dealer ..... Well it's just about the exact same story and unless Bella is Ella then someone should be feeling pretty ripped off I know I am even though it was free.

I read a lot of books and I know that within a certain genre there's only so much you can cover and similarities are bound to appear, that's obvious but this book was more than that, to know what's going to happen next is not good, surely. Now I don't have the time or the inclination to check which book was published first or even if they're the same author, I'm assuming they are because if not then that's just sad especially considering the authors bit at the front .....
I had an idea, I wrote a book....
But, I saw it, I loved it. Here's your first look inside my mind.

First, the above synopsis is wrong. The mother dies, she goes to her father, the Prez of an MC club.

I received an ARC for this book, actually two, after everything most of you know went down. Let me say this first: the author did manage to keep me entertained and I read it pretty much in one sitting (after all, I kinda knew where it was going ). But I can't say I was entirely feeling the book. The characters had no depth to them and the plot wasn't carried out as well as it should have.
For example....At first, the two main characters barely talked , Cole (main guy) was a player who banged MC whores and Maddy is distancing herself from him, all of a sudden, Maddy and Cole are hopelessly in love and are a couple the entire MC knows about. Huh?!?
The sex scenes were well written, I have to give her that, BUT were not incorporated well within the story. And while I do understand the word FICTION, there are some scenes that just do not make sense.
While the pace of the book is very good, the sense of time during which the plot unfolds is at times confusing.
Lastly, and I hate to repeat this , since so many already have, but this book was just almost identical to another one by Bella Jewel. I tried to not make it an issue while reading and keep a clear mind, but that proved very difficult. It was like deja-vu, I knew what was going to happen and yet expected to be proved wrong at the same time. The author had said via email she had changed some things to make it different. Let's just say I'd hate to see what it was like before changing.
It was mentioned that this series will be intertwined with Lili St. Germain's MC series, and although I'd love to read that, I'm not entirely sure the author will be able to escape the bad vibes surrounding this book.

I felt that this book plagiarized others which would be OK if it was better than the others but it wasnt, it was terrible. I like to read books that put me out of my comfort zone but really this was truly on the dark side eg

I read the second version of this book, which differs from the first based on comments from readers of the first version. I could see similarities to certain other books previously discussed in threads about this book. I just could not get into the book or connect with the characters. It starts out with the h's supposed father dying and her real mother/father showing up at the hospital. The mother tells the h, she doesn't know shit about what happened in the past and leaves a paper with her name/contact information. Now the h was abducted when she was 3 years old and abused greatly until the father/uncle's death. Oh yeah, the supposed father was really her uncle who abducted her at age 3 and turned her over to a drug dealer for payment. Later in the book, the real mother/father are depicted as being devastated by her abduction. Flash back to the cold treatment at the hospital. The book was mostly about sex between the h and Cole, the h and the drug dealer, the h and others. The sex scenes were gratuitous. The term "p**y clenching" was used hundreds of time I think. The h is abducted by a rival club and within an hour the h has sex with two of the rival club members, front/back door action at the same time and she enjoys it, reaching her climax. Thirty minutes (maybe) Cole saves the day killing the other bikers and the h immediately has a "p**y clenching" moment and begs Cole to have sex with her and make her forget. She again enjoys it. Now I'm all about good sex scenes and like erotic stories but the h's sexual appetite just turned me off. There was no character development and a really weak plot. I have read real, gritty MC romances and didn't come away feeling kind of repulsed by a book like I feel about this one. I think the author has some potential but it's going to take a lot of work to make the next book good. I would suggest the author release her next book as a freebie and let the readers decide if it's good enough to charge for.

ETA: I received a full edited version of this book and after reading the improved quality, I am raising my rating to 3 stars.

Regardless what anyone says.... this book was a really good book! The ending was just so WOW! WHY WHY WHY did you have to kill him off.... Just when Maddie and her father were beginning to form a bond. I need the next book NOW! There are just so many questions I have to ask, that I don't even know where to begin. There's just one request... Please don't let her father be dead, make him come back in the next book because it was just too early to see him go. It would have been 5 stars yet there was just TOO MANY similarities between Bella Jewel's book.

See,I read a lot of biker books, and in time they all get to look like,so i thought it was just me...
When you look at this one without ripp off talking,it's a nice book,I read much worse,but...see,there is a but,so my rating is low...

PANTY DROPPING HOT!!
Hell Yeah! Who wouldnt want to live a bikers life with a man like Cole in it!!

New Author Ella Stone has hit the biker world with a good book here in, The MC Outlaw Series, Underworld Champions!

Want to know more about an Austrailian biker club? Want a good bike club war? Well here you are! Come and meet Madeline! A.K.A. Maddie.
A girl full of fire, atittude and alot of issues from her past. She grew up in a life of drugs from a father that didnt care what happened to her, only to use her for his own drug addiction.

Maddie was raised by what she thought was her father. A drug addicted low life that told her not to call him father.
He has left her a mountain of debt to a drug dealer named Liam who holds Maddie responsible. Shes 19 years old and spent most of her life taking care of his messes and cleaning up after him. Now that he is gone shes not sticking around town to deal with the drug dealer. But she has no money and no where to go except her mothers.
She doesnt know much about her mother since she didnt stick around from the age of 3. Maddie hates her mother since she thought she sent her father and her away.

Maddie's meets her mother once her Toby's time has to come to shut the machines off keeping that are keeping him alive. And she meets this big burly guy with tattoos arms and his leather cut saying 'President'. Her mother not much better looking with tattoos on her arms also and across the chest. She calls her mother her "incubator" the bitch that took off years ago. Her mother wants to make sure Maddie is ok and has a place to go which she doesnt, but she isnt going to tell her mom that. And she did need her help so decides to take her mom up for a place to stay. She notice's when they leave her at the hospital the emblem for the motorcycle club her mother belongs to "The Outlaw Riders".She has no intentions of staying with her mother forever she doesnt want to become some biker bitch like her.

Maddies goes to find her mother at the address she gave her. Not a home at all. But while there she meets a few of her mothers friends and doesnt find them very friendly. She heads to her home the other address given to her. No key but that doesnt stop Maddie and needless to say it isnt much of a place and soon realises it has an alarm in it soon to be told to her by one perfect specimen of a man she has ever laid eyes on. In walks Cole!! "An Angel that fell to earth and decided to go all rugged and all and joined a biker gang." Instantly time for a panty change!

My favorite quote from this book is a scene between Cole and Maddie:
Cole tells Maddie "You got a giant set of f**king balls on you girl" Maddie witty as she is comes back with "Balls are soft. I've got a vagina. Much tougher." Love the spitfire in her! She is constantly clenching from the sight of this hot biker.

Maddie makes herself home until her mother and the 'Prez' return. Then she has the heart to heart with dear old mom and stepdad and finds a shocking surprise about her so called father, Toby. She is shocked from what she learns.

Maddies needs to make her own way to get out and move on her own. She goes to work for her father in the club.
She is still wondering about them keeping her safe from Liam, Toby's drug dealer that thinks he owns her. Cole tries to get to know her better and tries to find out about where she came from. And wants to know if she spoken for or claimed. Cole wants her as his "Old Lady" and he will get it, one way or the other.

Maddie is overwhelmed with all the response from everyone at the club remembering her back when she was very young. She meets several people that explain to her the grief her mother and "Prez" went thru after she was gone.
Maddie has a deep attraction to Cole (everytime she sees him, her panties get wet) and he has his own memories of her. Will she remember him from her past or not? Cole is the VP or the club ever since his father died.

Maddies trying to protect the club, her family, she has come to love and not tell them about her past with Liam, Toby's drug dealer and that man is bound and determined to claim what he thinks belongs to him. Cole does everything in his power to protect his "Old Lady" will he be strong enough to take down the drug dealer that has his sights set on getting his payback for her Toby's drugs.

I love this book. It's hot, erotic, thrilling, romantic and above all its got some nice hot bikers in it too. Maddie fits in perfectly with them all. Will she get her peace and be safe from her past or will it find her? You gotta read it to find out. I give it 5+ stars! You will love Maddie and her new life and you will love her man, Cole!! Hes fricking HAWT!!
Great book by new Author Ella Stone. Shes got a good one here for sure and Im gonna follow it all the way thru.

I read and reviewed the REWRITTEN copy of this book.

Sexy, page - melting and panty soaking HOT are just some of the words I could use to describe this book but they don't even do Underworld Champions anywhere near enough justice.

Full of sex scenes that had me squirming throughout while still managing to keep me gripped with the brilliant storyline and enough twists to keep me hooked from beginning to end.

This book was so far up my street I could live there. The characters are bad-ass and a refreshing change from the regular love stories I read about. I fell completely and utterly in love with Cole, not only is he sexy as hell, hard as they come and full of the perfect type of dirty talk to get you all hot and bothered, he also has a sensitive side when it comes to Maddie and would do anything to protect her.

Maddie is just as brilliant, she has had it tough her whole life and her past had my heart utterly breaking. She is smart mouthed and not afraid to deal out some ass-kickings when needed. There is one scene where she catches a *Biker Whore* giving Cole a blow Job, how she handles it is genius and had me laughing like a crazy lady.

Underworld Champions is an amazing debut that I devoured in one sitting and I will be be eagerly (and impatiently) awaiting book two in what is sure to be a fantastic MC series.

I give Underworld Champions 5 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS!

This was a pretty good read. Maddie has just lost her father and she goes to live with her mother who is married to the president of the MC Outlaws. Maddie doesn't know anything about the MC life but she doesn't have a choice. Cole is the VP of the club he is a sexy biker. When secrets are revealed her whole life has been one big lie turns out she was kidnapped by her uncle, her mom's brother and was in hiding from her real father the Prez of the MC and the whole club. Cole remembered Maddie before she was taken and actually, she gave him the nickname Cole well things between Cole and Maddie got heated when she catches him with a club whore. These two begin hooking up and when Liam the drug dealer finds her and threatens everyone she loves if she doesn't came back to him and gives her a time period of 5 days. This was a pretty good that I liked a lot. This was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I have been so looking forward to this book now, for ages!! So glad that it lived up to the hype in my mind!
Really enjoyed the story and I loved that it was another biker book set here in Oz.......and that brings me to all the commotion surrounding this book before it was even released.
After reading Underworld Champions, you can definetly see connections to other MC books - but in my opinion - that has to happen with the majority of MC books. There really is only so many ways that the men in the clubs and the heroines can be introduced/created/styled etc....just because stories seem to be similar doesn't actually mean that the authors were at fault or purposely created this problem. I do know that Ella rewrote a percentage of this book - to try and avoid further issues. I don't know what the original was like - but I did thoroughly enjoy this version. Really looking forward to the next installment in this new MC world!!

I am so conflicted about this book. The writing style was good (I've read so much worse). There was just no depth to the story. If you discount the sex scenes, then what do you have? Not much of a story. It was so shallow. I've read books where the main characters don't have sex for the majority of the book, but the story is so good, that I don't even care, or notice. I found myself skipping many sex scenes between these two, because that's ALL they did. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because of the writing style. This author has the style down pat, she just needs to work on her story and character development.

I loved the premise of this story, although I did have a few reservations with the execution of it. The first half was stellar, I couldn't put it down as we follow the heroine, Madeline, as she flees town after the death of her Mother.

Her estranged Father is the Prez of The Outlaw MC in a sleepy Australian outback town. Seeking protection from the man who has staked his claim on her since the age of 13, she is left with little choice as she heads back to the place where she was born, in the hope she can keep hidden until the dust settles, before heading out on her own to start a new life.

Cole is the MC VP and notorious for his good looks and promiscuous ways. His first priority is the club with whores and booze a close contender.

Maddie doesn't need her new life controlled by another man but Cole is everything she has never had. A man who sets her soul on fire. What must it be like to want a man for the first time even though you have had many sexual partners? Not one was truly consensual as she grew up believing sex was a means to an end, one where it puts food on the table and helps finance a junkie mother.

Yes...Maddie' s back story is truly horrific! And yet she gradually finds solace in a dusty compound with bearded and tattooed men who don't tend to stay on the right side of the law. She finally learns what it means to have a family, a Father and a lover who will stop at nothing to protect the girl, still running...

Like I said... I loved the premise! But I also had some serious problems with this book and that came with the second half... the pace. Holy sweet baby Jesus, one moment the gorgeous Cole is having copious amounts of sex with an MC skank, then he and Maddie are falling helplessly in love at first touch. The hot scenes just immersed the storyline, drowning it out, and taking the character progression along with it.

I was willing to overlook that because I love a good MC erotica with a side order of bat shit scary crazy and I also found the Australian dialect refreshing, but it all tumbled with a certain scene towards the end that just didn't sit well with me. It made me feel icky just reading it and lacked a bout of true realism. I'm sorry...but nobody in their right mind would think about hard shower fucking after the horror they had just been subjected to, therefore some of the credibility was lost on me.

That being said, I read this story in two sittings. The author successfully managed to keep me focused and entertained even though it covered some very distressing subject matters.

It's not a bad book by any means, the author has certainly delivered a compelling story, but I felt more consideration could have given on the plot itself and less on the hot sauce, as it succeeded in making the characters feel a little one-dimensional.

If you enjoy dark and disturbing with more sex then you can throw a kindle at, then yes, please read it! If you want a refreshing and substantial MC plot line with progressive characterisation then you may find yourself a little disappointed.

I just finished Underworld Champions and I loved it. Anything about bikers is a go for me and this didn't disappoint. Maddy has had a rough life being raised by her "dad" Toby. She was told all her life that her mom didn't want her plus she was sold to Liam to cover Toby's drug debts so this didn't make it any easier. Toby dies and her mom and step dad show up at the hospital to see her. What she finds out is that Toby kidnapped her and her mom and step dad tried to find her since she was three years old. She definitely has a chip on her shoulders and I don't blame her and since she is all alone, she goes to live with her mom. What you also find out is that her step dad is really her dad so this is all a shock to her. What is a girl to do? This is where she meets Cole. Cole is VP to the Outlaw club and he wants Maddy. What Cole wants, Cole gets. Will Maddy be able to stay away from him or will she succumb to him? You will have to read and see.

I really liked this story, like I said I go for anything about bikers and sometimes you end up getting disappointed but this is not the case. It flowed really well and it was super sexy and fast paced. There was for me a minor problem with an occurrence in the story, did it take away from the story, nope but I felt like it shouldn't have been in there. I felt like even though it was straight forward, there was a shock factor for me. For selfish reasons, I didn't want it to be in the story but can understand why it was. Again it just shocked me.

I absolutely loved Cole. He was downright sexy and would just make my toes curl. I loved how he didn't judge Maddy with what she had to do to survive and still wanted her. I loved Maddy. She is feisty and didn't take crap from anybody when she didn't have too. I did feel really bad for that girl though. No one should have to go through what she did. I can tell you that the chemistry between them two was so hot i just burned the pages. You will love every minute of it.

I also loved the secondary characters. They were pivotal to the story and brought so much that I honestly cannot wait to see what happens.

If you are looking for a faced paced yet sexy read then this one is for you. I enjoyed it and so will you.
