Hellions Ride #2

Forever Ride

Rate this book
Events happen in life that can awaken our truest and deepest desires. They also show us our greatest fears. Sometimes we are forced to face those fears, other times we build walls that can't be broken to protect ourselves.

A profound connection these two once shared. A strong friendship once formed was shattered. Fate has stepped in and shaken both their worlds.

The danger, the wild, the chaos, and the lifestyle of the Hellions world has become far too much for Savannah 'Sass' Perchton. Swearing off bikers and attempting a 'normal' life, she has settled. She's committed to Nick, her country club, pretty boy. She's found a way to be content.

Things aren't always what they seem. Wrap an empty box in pretty paper and a bow, it may look amazing, but it's still a hollow shell.

He's a Hellions playboy. A different chick in his bed, off on a different ride, and always something new. He's Frank the 'Tank' Oleander, Haywood's Hellions Road Chief. Throttle down and life is good.

The fast pace of the Hellions life catches up to him. At a crossroads, he's forced to face some life changing thoughts or succumb to the darkness of death. Teetering on the brink of giving in, her voice is all he's holding onto. The coma he can't pull himself out of, but her voice is the light in the darkness. He wants the girl who pulled him through when his life was literally in the balance.

She's sworn off bikers. Can he pull through? Can she ever see past the lifestyle to the heart of the man behind the cut? Will they find their Forever Ride?

I have to admit that I was fascinated by Tank in book one. And when the fact that he was in a coma was finally revealed, I not only wanted to find out more but I was interested to see how Sass I-don't-have-no-fcks-to-give Savannah was going to react. Chelsea Camaron did a great job with this story. I loved how detailed Tanks thoughts were while in the coma; how he finally put everything in perspective and owned his ish; how he fought; how he recuperated; how he eventually bounced back from the brink of death; and how willing he was to not only love Sass, but to make her his priority and give her acceptance and understanding. I wasn't a huge fan of Sass. She was weak and disloyal, so definitely not my cuppa. But Tank more than made up for it because he WAS this book and that was enough for me.

P.S. I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing Doll and Tripp's wedding and getting to meet some babies!!

Forever Ride is the story of Sass & Tank & boy was it a good one. Loved hearing Tank’s POV while he was in a coma. Book one (One Ride) left me sad in a way because of Tank and what had happened to him. I couldn’t wait to find out if he was going to be ok or not. I felt for Sass because she decided she didn’t want anything to do with the Hellion’s, which were her family. She felt it was too dangerous & didn’t want that life, so she pushed them away. She had met someone who cherished her, loved her & would give her anything she would ever need. That’s the life she thought she wanted. A safe life. Well looks can be deceiving. Lets just say I wanted to jump through my book many times to strangle the man she thought was perfect for her. The man she thought was safe. If you’re dying to know what happened to Tank & Sass, check out Forever Ride. It will take you on a journey through everything they’ve been through.

I took a chance on book 1 (One Ride) and was happy to find a new author (for me) who could write a MC romance that you enjoy reading because the writing style and quality of the book just sucks you in. I was not disappointed in book 2, Forever Ride. Ms. Camaron did not lower the bar for this book. She essentially took Tank, a man-ho of the first degree, and redeemed him into a hero. Although he is definitely your alpha-possessive male, he wasn't in Sass's face demanding and pushing. He was strong but treated her gently. Now Sass, at times, I want to shake. But then again I could understand her insecurities and where they came from. The love story between Tank and Sass was heart wrenching at times, but I never gave up. You get your HEA and such a sweet HEA. I loved getting more of Tripp and Doll and can't wait to read the next book. What a teaser the author included in the back of the book!!

What I liked:
1. The DUAL Points of View
2. The club as a whole
3. Tank
4. The story had a pretty fast moving pace
5. I liked how the story is divided up with Tank in a coma and Sass trying to figure out what to do with her self.
6. The last chapter
7. Sass, for the most part- just not when she let herself go along with what Nick wanted.

What needed work:
1. The transition that Nick went through didn't work for me. It was a bit too fast. I needed it to be a bit more slow and calculating to feel the real depth of his douchebag controlling ways to make it more believe able.

2. Why would Tank have medical records about his hospital stay? That whole set up to change Sass's mind didn't work for me.

As I mentioned in my review of One Ride, I binge read the first four books in this series last year and then stopped because too much of a good thing can sometimes sour it. This series blog tour gave me the opportunity to not only go back and reacquaint myself with these characters, but also meet new ones in later books :)

I don't think I have adequate words to convey how much you will absolutely love Tank. This man ... his life ... he is just ridiculously WWWOOOOWWWW. That isn't to say that Savannah is not worthy of noting, but I truly think that Tank stole the show here lol. This man's journey was incredibly. Their journey together was incredible. The whole thing was incredible. Okay, time for a new word ... lol But like I said ... I find myself inadequate with words right now.

The story/journey of Tank and Sass starts in One Ride so I do recommend that you start with that book if you want to get a complete picture of these two. Their sparks are undeniable from the moment you meet them. They can fight the inevitable, but love always wins and these two had love in spades. Even when they fought it!

I absolutely love The Hellions and would highly recommend this entire to series to anyone interested in reading this trope!

That cover...woowee... Jared Caldwell makes a perfect cover model!

Forever Ride was emotional for me. Every time I read Tank's POV while he was in his coma made me want to cry. I hated that he struggled so much to let everyone know he wasn't gone. But he did it.

I loved these characters in One Ride but this being their own story, I fell in love with them more. Sass, the spitfire and Tank, the playboy are the perfect match but Nick, the preppy boy gets in the way.

Will Tank and Sass get their Forever Ride or will Sass marry the man who she "felt safe" with? ~ Keisha, 5 stars

I read One Ride and when I checked my overstuffed Inbox the next day, found the ARC and Blog Tour information for Forever Ride
I cannot tell you just how happy I was to be able to escape into the world of the Hellions MC for 2 nights. I put aside every other job for those two nights and escaped. I'm so glad I was able to read them together with the in between distractions.

We meet the characters in One Ride and the turmoil that threatens to rip everything apart. Sass turns her back on the life and the club, thinking that she wants something safer.
Tank's been in a coma for months after the crap goes down in One Ride. Unbeknownst to Sass, her voice, her presence and her love is what has pulled Tank through and finally out of the coma. The trouble she gets herself into by trying to escape the trouble of the club give Tank the motivation and 'go' to get on his feet again - literally.

I do love to escape into books which are so well formed and written that they suck you into the world and spit you back out unceremoniously when you've finished. I've only read a few MC genre books, but the more I read, the more I love them. The tatted up, Harley straddlin' bikers ... let me at 'em!

Cannot wait for Merciless Ride to see what Chelsea has in store for Tessie! Thank You Chelsea for a great ride :)

I wanted to love this book so much. Sadly, although I liked the story and the characters, it didn't hold up to my expectations.

Most of my disappointment stems from the fact that after I read One Ride I had become curious about the connection Sass and Tank shared. In the brief interactions they shared, their chemistry jumped off the page and although their connection was subtle it still felt real and intense. For this installment I was looking forward to see that connection deepen and grow.

Now I'm not saying that Chelsea Camaron didn't bring their connection to the page. She did. But she didn't 'show' me a lot of it. Most of the time she 'told' me about it which took some of the joy out of the experience. Then add to the fact that Tank and Sass didn't interact much in this story and you can understand why I was disappointed. For me, it's imperative that I get to experience that initial connection, its growth and how it was deepened (which happens mostly through character interaction).

However, having said that, I admit that the story was a good one. It delved into the situation Sass found herself after she decided to 'quit' the MC lifestyle--her struggles, her conflicted emotions. I liked that I got to see that side of the story. It added to Sass' growth as an individual which in turn helped her to grow as a couple with Tank.

Tank's side of the story was interesting too. We got to know his story from the very beginning--what shaped him, what drove him. I'm glad I got to see him in another light which appeased my curiosity about him.

As I said, their chemistry was very good and I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see much of it. Thankfully, the little bit I saw was paired with Sass and Tank's emotions which made it a treat to read.

Keep in mind that although this is the second book in the series it can be read as a stand alone. Talon and Doll make a couple of appearances that added to the progression of the story but overall is was all about Sass and Tank's journey to finding their way back to each other.

All in all, a good addition to the series.

5 Stars from Sammy's Book Obsession!

I continue to be impressed with this series! Forever Ride was intriguing from the very beginning, because going in, we already know pretty much what's surrounding the main characters. In some books that may seem dull, but definitely not this one. I couldn't wait to see how Tank's story played out. I love the way that Tank's point of view was told during the first part of the book. I won't give anything away here, but I felt like it was unique in the MC world.
Sass confused the crap out of me for a while, but I get the main point of her self discovery and that it all provided in aiding her to find her true self and what she really wanted in life. Again, I don't want to give anything away, so I'll leave it at that.
Forever Ride was as well written and put together as the book before it, One Ride. The characters are very well developed to the point that I almost feel like I KNOW these people. Not just the main characters, but the surrounding people too. Getting to know them all has been a real treat. Particularly when you think you have them all figured out and then, BAM, there's a twist thrown in there that you didn't see coming. I love it!
I can't wait to jump into every book that follows in this series!

2 dimensional flat read

The beginning again is very slow and boring...the main male character's background is interesting and keeps me reading...the main female character just continues to repeat over and over how the MC life isn't for her...boring...skimming over her parts already at 15%

Ok she is taking leaving the club to a whole new level...again so far another weak female lead character who is a yes sir attitude when she was represented as a strong minded individual in the first book...and I am only at 35%. This is such an annoying troupe.

Her pity party is getting annoying...can the author come up with anything for the female than giving up the MC? Well she gets her wish if she stays with controlling Nick...so obvious its boring.

Sets out her clothes...has her wait on him hand and foot...ok my blood is boiling so for that emotion this book will get an added star to my over all rating. In addition, the transition to controlling was two fast...the author needed to gradually have it happen to have a sense of true life reality behind it.

Really not enjoying the two dimensional feel the author is giving off...most of the content is through the characters thoughts not interactions...this just doesn't interest me.

Life as the Hellions motorcycle clubs VPs daughter leaves Savannah “Sass” hasn’t always been easy she has always struggles with herself about wanting to feel safe and being away from the life that comes with the club and turning her back on family. Tank on the other hand is a playboy that doesn’t care what happens he’s ride or died for his club at no cost. When Sass and her best friend Doll are sent on a ride for their safety Tank ends up getting hurt and ends up in a coma. Once returned Sass visits him everyday and her new rebound of a douche boyfriend makes her choose her life with him or her family the only thing she ever knows. Making the hardest decision of her life Sass leaves the only thing she’s ever know behind and the wonder if Tank will ever wake up. Will the love Tank has for Sass be enough to pull him out of his coma, and get back to her? Will Sass find happiness outside of the only thing she’s ever know? Is forever long enough or nothing that will happen. I’m so in love with this series Chelsea just knows how to pull you in and make you fell like you are apart of this club and are family with them.

In Forever Ride, its Tank and Sass' turn to have their story told. Tank is in a coma for most of it, but can hear everything around him, especially when Sass is around. She is who keeps him strong throughout.

Sass is done with the biker lifestyle and attempts to move on with a 'straight laced' man. But looks can be decieving and this book deals with the whole 'don't judge a book by its cover' thing.

That's all I will say, since I don't like to give spoilers. If you are new to MC romances, like I am, and not sure they are your cup of tea, Hellions is a great way to ease into the Sub-genre, as it is not too gritty or violent. But I guess I've only read two so far, so I guess we'll see. I give this book 5 stars.

I’m going to be honest, I DNFed at 72%. By that point this book is a loss and I’m ticked that I spent money on it. The vast majority of this book Tank spends in a coma and Sass/Savannah (who is supposed to be this tough sassy woman) is letting some guy emotionally and mentally abuse her into a Stepford wife. Sass annoyed the crap out of me. Yes, I know this was supposed to show how insidious this type of abuse is and how slowly it creeps up on someone - but she’s supposed to be tough and smart and it takes her almost 3/4ths of the book and she’s still with the jerk?! There’s so many red flags happening it’s like a fire dance show happening around the guy. This wasn’t a romance because there’s so very little of Tank and Savannah, just both of them being miserable and apart. No thank you.

Favorite Quote: Never. Again.

Savannah ‘Sass’ Perchton, princess of the Haymaker’s Hellions Motorcycle Club, is tired of the danger and broken promises that come from being associated with an MC. When her best friend and the man she loves is almost fatally wounded and now in a coma, Sass decides the time has come to walk away from her birthright before it’s too late.

Frank ‘Tank’ Oleander, road man and playboy for the Haymaker’s Hellions, had it made with plenty of women, booze, and the brotherhood. Until he makes a mistake that sends the woman he’s grown to love straight into the arms of another man. Before he can rectify his mistake, he is wounded and now lays in a hospital bed with only her voice to keep him tethered to this world. As they both sit at the crossroads, hard choices will have to be made to see if they will travel down the open road together or part ways forever.

Forever Ride is the second in Chelsea Camaron’s Hellion series. A southern dipped MC series set in the coastal states of North and South Carolina; we are taken on a long hard ride as the Hellions seek to bring two loved ones back into the fold. Heavily character driven, the story is told by our protagonists-Sass and Tank- in alternating chapters. It’s steady pacing and smooth flow engages you right off the bat and puts you front in center into the Hellion compound and their lives. It alternates between the past and the present as our hero and heroine tell us how they came to be at the crossroads they are at now.

Their story started in One Ride when a bold Sass makes a play for the Hellion’s self proclaimed playboy, Tank, only to find that what she wants doesn’t factor into his lifestyle. Angry at his games and tired of the life that she feels is deadly, Sass turns her back on her family and finds herself a man who is as different as you can get. Forever Ride picks up with Tank in a coma and Sass trying to live in both worlds.

Before he got shot, I thought this man would be my forever, my happily ever after. He just doesn’t see it yet-I would tell myself. I was wrong. Tank can’t really think of a future with anyone, not if he’s being fair to them. None of the Hellions can.

The set up of this storyline is interesting in that Sass and Tank are essentially separated for a majority of the book. It allows readers to get an intimate look at how Tank and Sass feel about each other, their lives, and the events that led them to this point. It also allows them to deal with their individual baggage. Sass is a strong woman but in her haste to live a clean life, free of the MC, she inadvertently places herself in a prison of her own making. She becomes the one thing that she left the MC to avoid becoming-a victim.

Tank’s prison is medical based but his mind is going a hundred miles a minute. Looking into death’s eyes has had a radical effect on him. He sees the mistakes he’s made concerning his life and his rough handling of Sass. Like Sass, his past colored his views of the present. Hearing her voice is the only thing that keeps him trying to awake-if only to beg for a second chance.

Never one to back away from a challenge, I remember pushing her further to see how far she was willing to go with this little game she was playing. Only, she wasn’t really playing a game when it came to me and I was too stupid to realize it until it was too late.

These two extremely stubborn people have a tough road to travel to learn to forgive one another and themselves but Camaron stays true to their journey. My few qualms were that the strong, intelligent, take no bs woman we saw in book one was buried under a mound of vulnerability and low self esteem. I found it hard to buy in to the notion that her need to be safe would turn her into a doormat. She had a strong friend and family base so her acquiescence to Nick made no sense. The caricature portrayal of Nick, Sass’ boyfriend, was also strange. I couldn’t take him as an actual threat because he was ridiculously over the top.

The ending comes quickly and rather painlessly as Tank goes on the offensive and gets his woman. Sass finally shows us the fire from book one in the very end. Everything wraps up nice and a little too neat with an epilogue that reassures us that our couple has made it. Over all, I enjoyed Forever Ride. A romantic contemporary that played heavily on the contemporary in the world of bikers and the women who try and tame them. Milder than the average MC story, it still engages with personable characters, an interesting world, and promises of more to come. I am looking forward to book three, Merciless Ride, which is Tessie’s story. We met a new Hellion in here and from the small excerpt I read, he looks to be yummy. Set to release September 8, 2014.

I loved Tank and Sass' story. You could tell, when we first met them in ONE RIDE that their story was going to be good....and it was.

Sass and Tank have some baggage. Big oversized Samsonite baggage. And their story starts in ONE RIDE, so if you haven't read that do so before you delve into FOREVER RIDE. You'll need it to understand why Sass and Tank's relationship is in the place that it is when FOREVER RIDE starts. And it's in a bad place, with Sass living with her city boyfriend, Nick, and Tank in the hospital.

I think I enjoyed Tank and Sass' story as much as I did because they spent so much of the story apart. Sass was living the life she tried to convince herself was better for her and Tank was stuck in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds. Sass, for all her talk about wanting a different life outside of the MC found herself a prisoner in her new world and longing for Tank. He truly was her best friend and she needed him. It was very apparent as Sass tried to navigate her way through her relationship with Nick that she didn't know what she was doing or what she truly wanted. But she was too stubborn to face facts and say she made a mistake turning her back on the MC life.

Tank may have been in a coma through most of the story, but we got to hear his thoughts and knew that despite being down and out, he was fighting to get to Sass. She was the reason he fought his way to consciousness. Fought through rehab so he could walk and get on his ride. Sass was at the forefront of his mind and he only goal was to save her from the life she got herself tied up in and bring her to his home, where she belongs.

These two were stubborn, but you could see facing death readjusted Tank's way of thinking. He knew he wanted Sass, even when he pushed her away. He had let his past taint his perspective. But his extended hospital stay brought him some clarity and understanding that there was only ever one woman for him and he was going to make sure she knew it. As a reader, I was right there cheering Tank on. I would have been happy for him to drag Sass out of the house kicking and screaming if it meant the two of them were together.

Chelsea Camaraon's Hellion Ride series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. While there may not always be a lot of dialogue between the characters, the author manages to still create an addictive storyline and character voice that keeps you turning the pages. I look forward to much more from this author.

OK so the wait for Tank was too long My angst meter was on high. I hate Nick and what Sass had to become. Another fab book.
I love the style of this because it is what I think most people relate to. In some MC clubs there is violence. Im not talking bar fights and nasty women, Im talking abuse and rape. This is unlike others so if you want to know what the motorcycle clubs are about check this series out. I made a rhyme! They are all about custom bikes, repairs, general transporting, and kicking back with some ladies. Yes there are bar girls but nothing too out of control. The family bonds built within the Hellions MC are forever. Once you read the back story of Tank it will show the depths of his character. He is something else!

So for Sass in book 1: We left her off where she is trying to repeat her mantra about leaving. She desperately tries to convince herself that Tank is not for her. She longs for him, at times in book one I felt so sad for her. I wasnt sure about Nick and to be honest her wanting to leave too. It seems when you grow up inside a club they are an extended family. I loved how they took care of each other. She doesnt want to be there waiting for her man to come back from a road trip or a transport job that takes weeks. I get it. What she does is go to see Tank every single day. Im like seriously honey move on and stay with Nick. I know she doesnt want to be with Nick. So we stick with her as she alienates herself from Doll, her best friend, and the entire club. The drama of Sass trying to be a trophy girlfriend is light and sometimes funny to read.

When Tank has his "scenes" he is hearing every word that is said around him. He repeatedly tells himself to come out of the dark. No matter what he tries he cant seem to get up. He thinks snd even responds though not out loud, but is just too tired and feels sleep take him away. He hears Roundman speak of club issues that would normally have him jumping out of the bed, but this time he cant even twitch. This goes on for a while. The entire hospital stay is therapy for the the visitors. They all visit, complain, confess, tell him to get up and he does hear them.

It is tormenting to see Sass visit him, confess her fears and then leave. I LOVED this book and cant wait for the next one.

Recommendation: One Ride (The Hellions Ride, #1) should be read prior to Sass and Tank's story. Their story picks up directly where the first book left off and contains additional details necessary to truly enjoy this book.

With Forever Ride, Chelsea Camaron continues with the tradition of delivering a character driven story in an MC setting. This romance is focused on the development of Savannah (aka Sass) and Tank's characters. As Sass tries to settle into a life outside of the club and Tank comes back from a severe injury, a result from the Hellions' ordeal with Felix Delatorre.

Months go by and Sass settles in with a preppy, pretty boy because he delivers the stable, safe and secure life she thinks is what she wants. Having seen the dangers of club life, she wants that all as far away from her as possible. But like most of us, she learned that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Little by little she abandons that life for something new and has to come to terms with how different it is from what she's so used to.

With Tank, we learn where he comes from and what brought him to the Hellions' door. How he became the man he is and that Sass drives him to be the man he will be and what he'll do to claim and protect what's his.

Slow paced with heart and passion, we watch them find their way together through different routes making the reunion that much sweeter.

High fives to Tank

The hot biker did good.

In the previous book Tank was in a shootout with the MC and was in a critical condition.

Savannah (Sass) realises that even after her one night stand with Tank and the morning after being pushed to the side, that the man she had known and loved most of her life was never going to claim her, Sass the daughter of one of the MC leaders makes a decision and leaves the club to live a normal life.

Book 2 is the start of Savannahs new life with her new and very polished boyfriend.

Sass now Savannah is slowly being molded into someone she was never meant to be and the life she left behind including Tank becomes a longing as she tries to make it work. Sass is to stubborn to admit defeat and return to a family that loves her and a man she unknowingly needs her.

While Savannah struggles with her new life and controlling boyfriend Tank is also still recovering in hospital.

It seams nearly dying makes a man change his ways and gives a new perspective on life and that's claiming back the woman you love, seezing the Alpha biker within and getting what's yours.

I'm loving this series and the characters, the family feel the club has. There isn't as much danger and club action in Forever ride it mainly focuses on Savannahs struggles and Tanks progress but I loved it none the less.

Another brilliant read from Chelsea Camaron. Looking forward to reading the next book.

Forever Ride is the perfect follow up to One Ride (The Hellions Ride #1). I love this MC series. Chelsea Camaron take a reader who has no clue what happens in or with a MC (motorcycle club) and gives them a bird’s eye view of how the world works from the inside out. What I love most is that you get the view from the both the woman’s point of view and the biker point of view. They do not always match exactly but they sure do make a great story.

This is the story of Sass and Tank. Sass, being the daughter of the president, is an untouchable by the rest of club. Until….Tank touches and then can’t get her out of his mind, blood, and soul. I knew it wouldn’t be easy for these two but from the very beginning I could feel the heat between the two of them. The anticipation I felt while reading about these two was amazing. I needed them to figure out what was happening between them and how they could get past their history.

I have read One Ride (check out my review HERE), just finished book two (Forever Ride), and am anxious to start Merciless Ride ( The Hellions Ride #3). If you have not started this series I recommend starting NOW! This book can be read as a stand-alone but you will know more of the history if you start with book one and continue on.

There are few people who can write a book with a major character (in this case the Hero) in a coma and still make it interesting. Chelsea did it rather easily.

I loved this story for a few reasons. One, in true Chelsea Camaron fashion, it is a true love story based on love and loyalty at its core. Sass and Tank are meant to be together and you know that, but the journey to get there is what makes or breaks a story. To see Sass going through the motions in a "real" relationship with a rather manipulative jerk like Nick is rather disheartening. But you have to know that Sass will find her way to Tank. That is if he wakes up.

Yes, it is true that the lovers don't actually make contact for a while in the book, but I think that is what makes this story so amazing. When it finally does happen, it is the most incredible connection! I am a true fan of this series, not just because of Chelsea and being a fan of hers, although that helps. But because it is so unique in how it is delivered. Not all romances are about immediate satisfaction. Sometimes, a true love story, hurts like hell and seems impossible to conquer. This was one of those times.

I give this 5 amazing and heartwrenching lipsticks!

I'm not sure what's going on but I am having some seriously BAD LUCK with the last few books I have chosen, unfortunately this one didn't pull me out of the "what the hell did I just read, dammit you people are wasting my time!" slump.
Yes, this review is going to have some spoilers, sorry, but in order for you to truly comprehend my aggravation its unavoidable.
...... Tank the H is literally in a coma until 50% of the book, 50%!! Okay, the problem there lies with how in the hell am I supposed to grasp a real feel for a relationship between the H/h when he's for all intents and purposes DEAD for half of the damn book! WTF?
.......Sass, No, just no. I could not relate to her inner dialogue. She's strong in the first book, than she's NOT in her own for at least 85% than BAM the light bulb freakin beams down in mega wattage and she sees the light. She suddenly has a backbone. Again, WTF?
Look, I realize there are books for everyone, we all have differences of opinion, its what makes the world go round and all that jazz. However, aren't there certain things that we all look for in a book, like FEELS, some damn MEAT. This book didn't have it, IT JUST DIDNT HAVE IT! You cant ignore that shit.

I gave this book 4.5 stars!

Wow! I think I just fell in love with the Hellion MC! Hands off ladies, Tank is mine! I love how he has to fight to get back what he wants and he so determine to get back to his old life. I love how he know when to push and when to back away.

We first meet Sass and Tank in in One Ride (Tripp and Doll story). I knew from the moment they slept together that these two was going to have sparks to fly. With Sass's mouth and spit fire attitude and Tank being all Alpha Male S#!+ was going to hit the fan. I love how we get to see previous characters intertwine with this book and know how and what those characters have been up to.

Chelsea writes on very specific topics that might not be able to be handle by some readers but she does in away that that really makes you want the characters to get the help they need.

If you have started this series you need to, all books are stand alone bit characters do intertwine.

This is the second book in the series and I loved it! We meet Sass and Tank in the first book after their one night together. Sass has grown up in the MC--her father was a founding member. Tank knows she should be off limits but the two have been friends for years. After he blows her off, Sass decides she is done with motorcycle men forever. She is going preppy and safe.

Both of these leads have hearts of gold, yet they aren't willing to share what they truly feel for each other. Sass is trying to be someone she is not. Tank is trying to stay away from forbidden fruit. It takes Tank being in a coma for months for them to come to some realization. They are better together.

Loved seeing the rest of the club in this one and following up with Doll and Tripp. So happy that Sass and Doll mended their friendship as well. All around great read!

During book 1, we learn that the next book will break our heat, I was not wrong. This one had me rooting for Tank in a way I didn't expect.

Oh poor Sass. She had so much going on in her head in the last book, we see what's really going on in this book and my heart broke for her. I loved her thought attitude and her smart mouth. Total biker babe.

Tank had more to deal with in this book. He faces the challenges from book one and comes out in the other side.

I was mad so many different times in this one. I yelled at sass a lot and looked stupid doing in but I know her potential. I know what she was made of and I thought, just maybe, if I cursed her enough she would see it. The ending was beautiful.

Overall this was another good read in this series. I would have liked to have seen more of Tanks struggle, but even with out it I loved this book and it was everything I had hoped for and more. On to the next hellion and I can't wait to see what it's about! 4.5 stars. #2OCCJD

Tank and Sass have quite the story. Was a little hard to start with, didn’t know who the book was about till I got into it a little. Then you hear about the struggles that Tank and Sass both went through and what Sass thinks is what she wants. Sass wants nothing to do with the club, thinking it will be better away from that life, and find Nick who is controlling but Sass doesn’t see it that way. Sass is only trying to stay away from MC club that she was a apart of her whole life, until Tank comes out of his coma and gives her time to see the club is family and she needs her family. Seeing the book through Tank and Sass’s eyes makes it a great read to hear from both of their views. Over all it was a good read.

So over a week and a half of reading this series I unfortunately I can't say I loved or liked this series. I hated that I had to write that, but when we sign up for arcs there are some that we do don't even connect with, and DNF. In my case I couldn't walk away from receiving so many books for honest review. I can't review each one as I don't have the nicest words of any kind for each one that I read.

MC Life
Rape
Angst
Drama
Whores
Sex
Romance
Bikers
Alpha Males
Good Girls
Mouthy Girls
Killing
Retribution
Pregnancy

If you love all these aspects, this is the series for you. Each book I have rated 2 stars which for me is hard but it's honest and MPO. Each to there own. What i may like you might love. These were not "Ang Friendly" books.

If I had to pick which one I liked the most I would have to say the Internal Ride novella I really liked Shooter!!!

I'm sure most of you will really like this book, so please give it a try. However, I just could not get past my strong dislike for the h. To me, she was just gullible and weak. So many times in the book I just wanted to slap her and tell her to grow up. Her reasoning did not make sense to me, and I found myself skimming much of the story due to the h's ramblings and repeated "it's complicated". Her actions from the first book to the second book are like night and day. In the first book she stood up for her best friend and took no crap. In the second book she drops her best friend and entire family and becomes a doormat. I liked the first book, the third one sounds promising, and I will read it, but I just couldn't really get into this one.
