From the My stories begin from early childhood and extend to experiences I've had as recently as my senior year of high school. Each story is a unique journey through lessons I have learned throughout my life, and are the content that fill the otherwise abandoned nature of the pages they sit on. I wrote Kenopsia with each and every reader in mind. I wanted to spread light on the concept of children finding their way, relationships with others, and the parent-child relationship dynamic. I also wanted to allow readers to form their own opinions through a "middle-person" perspective approach. While Kenopsia ends at high school graduation, I plan to create a sequel to it sometime down the line.
The word "Kenopsia" can be defined as "the eerie atmosphere that is usually bustling with people but is now abandoned." That very definition summarizes just about every event of my life.
Kenopsia is the combination of Zackeus Kynard's life events between birth and high school graduation. Kynard thinks of life like a puzzle. Each of his stories are like pieces that link events together that have ultimately resulted in the person he has become so far in his life.
