Now I have a sequel. Ho-Ho-Ho!Terrorists have seized control of Knickerbocker Plaza and taken Santa hostage! One woman has had enough. She's alone, tired, and her husband is tied up in the office on Christmas Eve.It's time to fight. It's time to Rein Harder...With a Vengeance! Reindeer Games is back with all your favourite characters (who didn't die in the first one!) and this time, it's personal!
It’s Christmas Eve again and Santa’s in trouble…again. Thankfully, Mrs C is around to help.
This sequel to Reindeer Games is everything you want from a follow-up; bigger, bolder, funnier, higher stakes and a severely elevated body count. It delivers!
If you’ve ever wondered what Die Hard would look like through the lens of a North Pole setting packed full of Santa, elves, reindeer and a sleigh-load of Christmas idioms you’ve never even considered before, this is the novella for you!
Terrorists have taken over the newly-built Knickerbocker Plaza skyscraper. Santa is bound and gagged, various reindeer have been prepped for becoming a burger at your nearest Christmas market and it looks set to be far from a silent night. The only hope to save the most wonderful time of the year is Mrs Claus who, apparently, is H-O-T!
This was a romp and I loved it. The jingle bell knuckle dusters, the random killings of two turtle doves, and the way it makes you wonder why Santa is so judgmental with his naughty and nice list.
Oh, and the cliffhanger to tee up part 3? A true Christmas cracker!
It’s like that ex who keeps driving past your house and leaving locks of your hair in an envelope in your mailbox with mildly threatening notes (leaving you to wonder how they got your hair in the first place) after you break up with them kind of hard with a vengence.
No? Fine!
Violence ✅ Action ✅ Humour ✅ ✅ A narrator who may or may not be drunk (like the rest of us at this time of year, myself included) ✅
Look it’s heaps of fun and you should definitely stop wasting time reading this absurd review and just get the damn book!
Plus! It’s cheap as, May as well get it and the rest of his books (they’re awesome too).
