Magi of Danu: Banishment

Rate this book
This world of Magic Guilds, separated by their different disciplines, has harsh consequences for those that misuse magic. Exile, banishment or even death can await you for breaking their laws. For Jack, he must manage his way through this world having not been born amongst one of these Guilds. With his equal, Kara, they must navigate competing guilds and power hungry leaders while skirting their way around the Magical Laws that they know little about. Only with the help of new friends and old allies will they survive the perils of crossing other Magi, assassins and one hell bent Justicar.

This was a fun ride! Follow Jack and Kara across Danu and enjoy the scenery. Mr. Aeros does a great job of giving us fun bits of magic from the different guilds and the action is top notch! I personally enjoyed the back story about Han and the bits of lore that got dropped in. This book is fast paced and kept me wanting more. I'm interested to see if perhaps something else happens with Clement happens later on.  Felt some anime, Highlander, and Dresden File vibes. I'm excited to read the next book!

Quite the introduction to Magic and a world that is controlled by Guilds. The Author does a good job of explaining how this World works while holding my attention with intense action and character involvement. The story kept pulling me into the lives of Jack and Kara to see what happens next. It was a good read for me and I recommend it

TOTALLY A PAGE TURNER!
This is the first Urban Fantasy book I have read and it did not disappoint! Each chapters are exciting. I am not an action person but the scenes are interesting and loved the other parts of it; friendships, family and romance all in one book.

damn

It’s been a long time since I read a fantasy story that had me this invested. Perfect magic system, amazing characters. The struggles and fights were absolutely superb. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
