The Rise of the Republic: Books One to Three

Rate this book
The faster-than-light ship…

…was the key to reaching New Eden.

Would humanity find a new home or a terrible threat?

In high orbit, Hunt looked down at the blue-green planet, roughly five percent larger than Earth. It would be perfect. As he waited for the first scan to be completed, he was stunned by the discovery of inhabitants, some of whom seemed to be prisoners on the planet.

Did his eyes deceive him?

The next move brought with it questions he couldn’t answer. Who were these beings, and how would they react to the presence of the RNS Rook above their planet? If things went south, were his crew and ship able to handle a fight?

The next few seconds would change everything…

…and there would be no going back.

You’ll love this epic military space adventure because these first three books will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next.

An Endless Marathon. Are you up to it?
The long and winding road leads through outer space💫🚀 and back🌏.
This is an interesting connected series of novels of Human interaction with aliens👽 and far flung galaxies💫. However there are lots of long winded😴 descriptions That bog down the story And make it tedious😵 at times.
I had trouble remaining interested Through these parts of it And there seem to be parts in everyone of the books. Consequently, i kept putting the series down and going to other novels in between.
This series was definitely a marathon, not a sprint.

I got this e-book from Amazon with Kindle unlimited

he ask I reviewed

This is a long read has kept putting the book down over 2 days has I already read the original 3 books in this series and has it’s rare for me to forget a book I was it surprised with anything.

I’d finished an gave it 5 stars at least in memory of this series by a great author do the plot gets long winded has space battles are fast conflict, do the land combat scenes are long and give more depth to aliens vs. humans do it becomes bland has only Zonakes are really unique every other race just comes off has slightly different shades of human.

Do in fairness creating an entire original race of fictional creatures would be hard for anyone just Rosone got right the first Alien race but slowly creative in there uniqueness with follows on races do the human Zonake conflict improves in later books for thouse wondering.

Excellent series. Many interesting characters, and many interesting worlds.

Some awesome characters and great stories of how our worlds can change and how we may find World similar in space. A great story of how Freedom always has a cost. The authors have developed some great characters

Interesting but long winded

So far I’m enjoying it but I feel like there is too much talking and I have to fast forward to the action and more interesting parts.
