I'm really enjoying this whole "world" of Cocky Heroes! This was a cute story with two people who "don't do love". Can Maya and Ethan make it when the world seems to be against them? Get it and find out what happens!!

A hard head and a soft heart make for a compelling story. Control is the name of the game and who has it is anybody's guess. Bossy Billionaire is a fast paced button pusher. Sexy, Sassy and Smart, Dennie gives the senses a TKO that refuses to back down.

Bossy Billionaire by Chiquita Dennie is part of the Cocky Hero Club series. Each story can be read as a stand alone novel in any particular order. If you had a chance to read Cocky Catcher, you will see some reoccurring characters. I found that particular feature really interesting and kept the series more fluid for me.
Ethan West is a billionaire banker that increased his wealth despite already having some. His family was not known for their business savvy and almost were in ruin. He has higher ambitions and is now set to run as the governor of New York.
Maya Banks is a television talk show host, blogger and celebrity. Her TV show is in trouble and sets to increasing her ratings again.
At first I really enjoyed this series. There was drama, the chase of something and expectations. It had awesome buildup and I couldn't put the book down. However, the climax was a bit underwhelming and I found myself looking for bigger conflict. It was not a bad read and had plenty of steamy scenes. As I mentioned above, it was great to continue reading about characters we had met before.

This is the second contribution of Dennie and set in fictional financial world that gave us Graham and Soraya. With Billionaire Ethan West who about to get into the political game when his world explodes.
Now Ethan isn't a bad man. He knows what he wants and he makes himself clear. Unfortunately not everyone gets the memo's and this cause of the drama in the book. Ethan is torn between everything that is going on his life and Maya enters the picture as well at the wrong time but Ethan can't just get her out of his head .
Maya is a mutual friend of his friends and wants him on her show. She is a successful TV host of her own day time show and wants to be top of her game .
It's a male dominated world and Maya wants to do it her way. Not relying on other but hard work and it something that makes Ethan take a second look at her when they finally met.
As these two have attraction but both are wanting to play games. As Ethan is middle of damage control, he decides to kill two birds with one stone. He isn't beating around the bush and these two are quickly heating up as the political campgain hits.
But behind all the glitz and glamour , these two are treading around the attraction and the chemistry. Is there really a future for them all things considered?
This is fast and furious. The romance was hot and heavy pretty quickly considering that Ethan had romantic drama still happening. I enjoyed Dennie's second contribution to the Cocky World and I love the connections between the books.

Ok, so the title may give away the storyline...stop there. You're on the wrong path. The title gives you just a hint about, a part of the story. Wait till you'll meet the sassy heroine, or should I call her...bossy as well?
Well, I will leave it up to you to decide.
Now, the plot is a little too classic. And the story background involves some politics elements, which may slow a little the appeal of the story. But it doesn't mean that it's not funny to read. In fact the push and pull between the main characters is the winning card of the story. It's what keep you going on.
Because, Ethan and Maya will really make you laugh a lot.
Even in the hot moments...
So, have a good time with this one!

Having read Cocky Catcher in the last round of these books by this author, I was surprised to see her having a second book in this collection. I enjoyed this story more than Cocky Catcher, although, I did enjoy having some of the characters appear in this book.
I enjoyed Ethan and Maya as characters. They seemed to be perfect for each other. I did struggle a little with it not having a strong area of conflict or climax to the story. It was just a tad underwhelming for me. However, it had a really cute epilogue that made up for it. This author is definitely on my watch list as there is something compelling about how she writes that I seem to like. This book definitely adds a little something to the Cocky Hero World.

Ethan and Maya have an enticing and all-consuming story. Theirs is just another of the fantastic Cocky Hero Club collection. Even though he's the bossy billionaire, she's equally bossy and independent. These two give each other the perfect blend of push and pull with plenty of scorching heat.

Worth a billion stars
The heat between these two was so hot it could burn the pages. This was the first book I've ever read by this author and I'm a huge fan. This book flowed perfectly between the characters and the events that unfolded. I love the banter between Maya and Ethen. This was a fun read and I highly recommend everyone read it.

Its well written with fully developed characters. Had a lot funny moments and i love that its characters of color.

This story was kind of weird. It's supposed to be a romance but I didn't really see any falling in love. it was two people that had sex once or twice and lived separate lives and too busy to really see each other. But because this one hot time Meetup in the hotel was so amazing they are just so in love.
It's really hard to believe this couple to be a genuine couple. First of all the main male character Ethan is his point of view said that she was mouthy and he didn't like the she got all that mouth and attitude and Sass. and he can't stand seeing her open her mouth. Then all of a sudden when he sees her at the same get together or event with mutual friends then he's all hitting on her and coming on strong to her.
I was lost and confused because he just said you don't like this woman and how she irritates you every time she gets to talking and you didn't have time for no woman like that. and then the moment you seen her you all thirsty hitting on her begging her for a date?????
And he tried to fight her male friend when he joked about marrying her one day.
I mean was this an error? Did chapters get deleted on accident? or did the editor cut a major part here? because how we go for him not being able to stand her to blackmailing her... well I don't know if blackmailing her …. but basically saying that if she didn't go on a date with him he wasn't going to do the interview.
Okay so after he decides to get with her and they do their one night stand. He ghost her then acts like nothing happened and starts flirting with her when they do the interview.

I enjoyed Bossy Billionaire via audiobook, and I did feel that I was missing part of the story being dropped into a world of characters. I liked the premise of the social media influencer -billionaire cat and mouse game that started the story off. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Bossy billionaire banker and potential New York governor, Ethan, wants a date. Sassy talk show host, Maya, wants an in depth exclusive interview of Ethan on her show. Will they each get their way? Well...yes but not without a lot of snark and steamy times first.
This installment of the Cocky Hero Club disappointed me unfortunately. I didn't connect with either lead, and I downright disliked Maya. I did like their snark and all the sass going, and those things alone kept this from a lower rating.

I was so glad to see Maya got her own story in the Hero Club world! Ethan and Maya shouldn’t have worked as a couple. They were too different on the outset, but as I got to know their personalities, I began to see just how well-suited they were for each other. They both had strong personalities that were well-written by the author and their road to forever after was not all smooth. Every book in the Hero World is formulaic, but it’s the author’s talent with words that make each one different. The author crafted a cast of characters whose personalities played off each other and made them relatable and likable. Pulling in the characters from the author’s first Hero World book was well thought out. It was like sitting down with old friends!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really didn't know what to expect. This book is part of the cocky hero collection and I do enjoy reading the cocky hero books. This is a real will they wont they romance with some political moments and times that will also have you laughing.
Ethan West is a very very ambitious man that knows exactly where he is going and is a very determined person that wont let anything get in his way. He is a sexy, hot and very rich man that seems to always want more all the time.
Maya is on television as a talk show host and she is a sassy lady who is very beautiful and when she first meets Ethan they do spark of each other. Her show is in trouble and Maya wants to boost the show up anyway she can.

I'm not normally into Billionaire romances, but Chiquita did a fabulous job of writing her characters Ethan and Maya into the Cocky World series, and making me enjoy the novel in the process!
The chemistry and banter between these two characters kept me entertained and wanting to always know what happened next.
These two characters are strong-willed and never give up what they're after. And in the end, you get a fabulous love story that made this blogger happy!

This is a new to me author however I really enjoyed reading this story. The storyline was interesting and kept me wanting more, I enjoyed reading about the characters and the way the storyline unfolded was very well done. A very good and enjoyable story.

Holy hotness is right Ethan West is just that. Running for political gain he doesn't think he needs anyone, however when his ex try's to destroy all that he is built that is one sassy women about to help him. Maya has her own talk show where she puts you on the spot and get's down to your dirty when know one else knows. When her and Ethan meet sparks do fly, but so do the insults with one another. However they have a connection and they will both have to work together not to kill each other. Can these two get along long enough to deal with Ethan's ex, get him elected, and not fall prey to the media? I loved this story and this was the first time I have read this author and won't be the last.

This book was not for me. I did not connect to either of the characters. Maya was so unpleasant all the time, I'm not sure how anyone could like her.
It the scenes were also so disconnected. The transitions were not smooth at all. Seemed pieces were missing???

I enjoyed reading Maya and Ethan’s story. Two people who are similar in their thinking and add in their chemistry and mutual friends this book makes a good read. This book is part of The Cocky Hero Club but can be read as a standalone. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion.

This read too disjointed for me. Some of the details didn’t seem to flow or add up. And this “relationship” never formed, it was like the readers were told it happened. But never got to read how it developed.

But as with any good story there is a little drama that arise. Ethan's ex-girlfriend and Maya 's family issues. Will they be able to work through their issues and find happy ever after? Wondrous Read
Wow, this is book is truly wonderful and exciting kind of read. The entire story is amazing, from the way how the lives of each character are intertwined with each other. And let’s not forget, the characters storylines are wonderfully detailed.
The chemistry between Maya and Ethan are that of true opposites with great magnetism, that pulls you in and keeps you in.

Ethan West and Maya Armstrong are friends of Gage Young and Nina Mitchell from Cocky Catcher.
The narration was good. Love Teddy Hamilton. He is one of my favorite narrators.
Ethan is running for Governor of New York. Maya is a tv journalist and blogger who is reporting on his campaign.
As with the other book. I felt that things jumped ahead without much warning. They are bantering, then they are on a date with no lead up to explain what happened. The story did move quickly and I liked the main characters and supporting characters.

Not my favorite book in cocky hero series. First I listened to this on audible and the female narrator was to much for me at much time. I think having a different narrator might have helped with some of my issues with the book. However, my biggest issues are that I felt like it should have been a longer story because they moved forward with out explaining to much of what was going on. Like I felt like nothing was going on and next thing you know they are moving forward at too fast of pace that I couldn’t keep up and was confused.
