The Bad Boy Rocker meets the Mousy Girl Next Door with a STEAMY Secret . . .

Hope Higgins, the girl next door whose apple orchard once stood proudly beside his peach, hides a secret as sweet as her pies. By day, she's a mousy virtual assistant, but by night, she's the bestselling author of a scorching hot rockstar romance series whose main character is suspiciously similar to a certain tattooed singer . . .

They have always been each others rock...even before they knew it
Justice is her safe space and Hope is his home, I am not sure they are as oblivious to their feelings as they try to convince themselves they are. They are terrified to love, because loss is so much harder when you love, but as they work through their grief and fears we see them begin to heal. There's a spark of hope for the future that has you cheering them on through the doubts, the paparazzi craziness and the targeted attacks to the beauty and love underneath. I love the Wild Brothers, so dinted, damaged and in need of love, this series has them healing old wounds and finding new beginnings....together! I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
I love rock star romance and it did not disappoint. Solid female character lead , I loved her personality, she was spunky and real. This story did not get bogged down with miss communion, which I hate. You feel them falling in love which is key! Great supporting characters i assume are in the series in other books too. I'll probably read again!
The story was cute. The ebook had several typos so it caused to have to reread a few lines to make sure I was understanding what they were talking about. The relationship moved quickly. Rockstar comes back home. Finds his childhood friend they start a fake relationship and it all progresses from there. Overall I prefer book one and two from this series. I felt like this one lacked a bit. But nonetheless I’m excited what the next brother brings
This was fantastic! I was hooked immediately, and the fast pace kept my attention. This was a great combo of rockstar / fake dating / reunited friends to lovers / brother's best friend. There was a lot of emotional depth in this short book, but it didn't make the story feel heavy. The spice was well written and in just the right amount. This was my first Evie Mitchell book and I will definitely read more from her. There were some pop culture references that I think will date this a little
I loved this story a lot, it’s sweet and very sexy BUT.. it is in dire need of proofreading & editing.
Wrong words are used throughout this book: “over” instead of “oven” (more than once!), “my” instead of “me” are just two examples. If it were just once or two instances, I’d not say anything but it was throughout the book with these as just two examples. Good story, but needs to be cleaned up.
We get Justice's story from the Wild Brothers. We also get to meet Hope the cute girl next door. These two have known each other for years, and at first I was nervous for how the story was going to happen. It ended up being a super cute story, that will make you swoon, cry, laugh and adore. I also cannot wait for the rest of the brothers stories to come out.
There were some typos. Overall, the story was really good. The issues of Hope dealing with her employee and Justice dealing with his grief add to the challenges.
Safe. No ow/om drama. I don’t understand the opening scene 3 years earlier. H and h run into each other in a bar and he takes her backstage to catch up. We learn h loves him and H is clueless. I thought maybe H would have feelings for h after not seeing her in so long, but nope. They talk for a bit and then he sends her away. h wanted to stay but H wasn’t hearing it. He continued to sleep around during the three years till they meet again. H is a rockstar who gets around, A LOT. h is a virgin. I really want more h’s to have good sex lives like the H’s do. It’s just getting tiring. h secretly writes erotic romance novels in her spare time. She has a very active imagination but has never had sex. The h is put on leave because an employee complains to HR that she is bullying her and the media learns of this. h isn’t bullying her and the investigation proves that. H breaks up with h but it’s all rectified by the next day. No cheating or abuse.
OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Justice and Hope knew each other growing up they lived next door to one another. Justice's family owns the Wild peach orchard while Hope's family grew apples. When Hope's father passed away her mother moved them back to her family away from Peach Springs. Hope comes back to help her grandmother, her father's mother. Justice is back for the memorial for his parents, it was their dream to donate a piece of land and now twenty years later it is finally happening. Hope takes a pie over to Asher Wild Temptation to thank him for helping her grandmother. Hope is walking to the door when she finds Justice getting out of his truck. They all head inside and have a piece of pie with some coffee as they talk about old times. When Justice says something to Hope she takes off and heads back to her grandmother's house. Justice follows her, but he goes to her bedroom and gets there before she does. Justice and Hope start talking and she suggests that he reads one of the books she writes but doesn't tell him it's her. Justice asks Hope to met him the next day for brunch. After they arrive at the diner and order their food, Justice asks Hope if she'll pretend to date him. Hope gets Justice's phone number from her friend Faye and starts messaging him. The next day when Justice can't find her he messages her and finds out Hope is with her grandmother, then heads to met her. Justice asks Hope if she'll help him go to the cemetery, she's more than happy to help him. Hope asks Justice if he'll go with her to learn how to dance, she's never had a partner. Hope changes her outfit several time before she decides on one. Justice and Hope enjoy themselves while dancing. When Saturday night comes around Justice takes Hope out to the bar and they both enjoy line dancing. The band on stage notices Justice in the audience and asks him to come up on stage and do a few of his songs. Justice is reluctant at first but the audience convinces him. Justice does a tribute to his parents and soon notices his brother's walking into the bar. When Justice starts to choke up on the song, he finds Hope, she mouths to him eyes on her, and he's able to get through the song. Justice asks Hope if she'll go looking at the stars with him. Justice has a bed in the back of his truck, they fall asleep watching the stars above. Hope wakes up to her phone buzzing but they both ignore it. Soon Hope hears Faye yelling at them, she tells them her secret is out. Hope assumes it about her being an author so she comes clean to Justice. Hope finds out that not what came out about her, it was about her job, and that's she's on leave for a follow employee accusing her of bullying. When they Justice gets Hope back to her grandmother's house he tells her this would have never happened if he wasn't famous and she wasn't fake dating him. Hope thought something was happening between them, she asks Justice if he thinks this isn't real. Justice leaves and tells Hope that it's over between them. Justice heads to the bar, his brother Beau comes in and finds him asking him if he's drinking. Justice hasn't picked up a drink for a long time. Justice starts to talk about Hope and how she's better off without him. Justice's brother provokes him and soon they are in a fight. The other Wild brother's come in to break them apart, and soon they are talking some sense into Justice. Justice isn't sure how to win Hope back, then Beau tells him he already knows. Hope has been crying all day staying in her room, she knows Justice felt something for her, she just doesn't know how to win him back. Soon Hope hears music and a familiar voice, when she looks out her window Justice is standing in a circle of daisies singing a song he wrote for her. A few weeks later, after Hope's name was cleared of any wrong doing, she quit her job. Hope is going to commit to writing full time, and going on tour with Justice. Justice asks Hope to marry him and she tells him yes. Sometime in the near future, Justice and Hope head off to a private island to be alone as husband and wife. Hope gets a phone call from Faye, she's a New York time best selling author. Hope will always be Justice's wildest Hope.

Let me start this by saying if I could rate this book higher than a five, I would. It’s a fifty as far as I’m concerned and that still doesn’t seem enough.
I’ve read Evie Mitchell’s entire catalog, and I knew when she joined in with some of my other favorite authors, that I would devour this series. However I did not anticipate how much this book would conjure every emotion under the sun for me.
Hope and Justice’s story was everything I hope to find in the pages of a romance novel. It was funny. It was hot (so damn hot). And it played me like a damn fiddle. I laughed, I cried and I hoped for it to never end.
Mitchell has never written anything I haven’t immediately loved, but let me tell you, this might just be her best work yet.
Omg. This was so good! What a couple! Justice was hilarious and so a tortured rock boy soul but Hope is hands down the best FMC. In touch with herself but with a little bit of insecurity, but not so much that it’s annoying. Justice is back home to finalize a sale of some land to his family and Hope was the girl next door that he never really thought of in that way. But now? Now he ca t think of anything else. But he thinks he’s not good for her. Hope, on the other hand, has loved Justice for as long as she can remember but assumes she’s not his type. When he is spotted in town, he asks is she can be his fake girlfriend. Nothing could go wrong with that, right?
I truly adored this one. Just enough plot to make the story worth it and the spice was spicy!
So much push away from the MMC. The FMC has been pinning away for him for YEARS and he fucks anything with a pulse and only sees women as objects/human fleshlights but it's made completely a-okay because HE HAS TRAUMA. He's allowed to have an exciting and fun sex life using women for his pleasure but she has to rely on her imagination for her own sex life. 🙄
Virgin h Manwhore H H not celibate during their time apart (she's pinning away for him while he gets around A LOT like A lot A LOT) Short breakup Minimal Drama
0/5 Don't recommend for the heavy misogyny and honestly shitty writing. This one needs an editor ASAP with its spelling and grammatical issues.
I feel bad, but I feel very meh about this book. The workplace part of the storyline was low-key intense and not my favorite. Then I felt the romance had a lot of buildup and some dirty talk, but then the payoff wasn’t there. Like it felt kind of perfunctory in the end. Third act breakup was for silly reasons and then back together so quickly. There were hints of being sex negative but then tries to correct the character who made the comment but it fell flat or insincere. Not for me.
This is the turn of Justice the rockstar of the Wild family, he is famous, with a lot of money and although he has been away from home a long time returns and reunites with Hope the little sister of some of his friends. They start a fake relationship to keep the attention away from the Wild family, but everything becomes real and that brings complications. This book has a happy ending.
This story had me laughing swooning and grabbing the edge of my chair. By far Gran is the funniest character in this book The level of angst towards the end I was so unable to put the book down. It was perfectly plotted showing real grief moments and how we slowly move from them but they never go away. 10 out of 10 would recommend and if I could give it more than five stars I would.
Loved Justice Wilds story. Hope has known him forever and every romance where writes it’s about Justice, famous rock star. But when asked to be his fake girlfriend can she do that knowing she’s loved him forever. Loved their romance, it’s wonderful and fun and just a great read. Steamy and hot and a great HEA.
For anyone worried about typos...the original erroneous file had typos. It's been updated with the correct file!
I love this story; but I also love that it not only Interconnects with the other Wild brothers books, but also with the author's other series as well! This is a sweet Rockstar romance/ best friend's sister.there was some sadness along their journey, but it was worth it!
Oh my goodness I thought this book was fantastic! Never read this Author before and I was really impressed. Justice and Hope! Justice rock Star legend, Hope the girl next door. Put these two together and you have an explosive that's off the charts. Great story line and I love the characters! Could not put it down
I absolutely loved this fabulous rockstar romance by Evie!! I am living this series so far about The Wild brothers by different authors. This is Justice and Hope’s story and it was just so entertaining. Hope and Justice reconnect when he comes home and they have a red hot chemistry that can’t be ignored. This book was well written and I devoured it. I look forward to reading more of this series.
I really enjoyed this one. It had a story and fairly well developed characters for a shorter book. I DNF the second in the series-My least favorite. This one made me laugh and cry. I loved this Wild brother.
Justice left the peach farm to follow his dream and became of rockstar. Hope was the girl next door who always crushed on Justice and used him for his inspiration when she started writing.
This is an entertaining read. I love the chemistry and passion between Justice and Hope.
Hope and Justice story was emotional and funny. Hope realizing her dreams were coming together. Her love of the boy next door and writing. Justice finding peace and love. Death sucks at any age and when it's you parent or parents it really hard to deal with it.
Sweet romance involving a simple good girl next door, who just so happens to have a major secret, and the rockstar she always dreamed about. No cliffhanger and a racy trip to a happy ending. This is a new author for me. I’d enjoy reading more of her books.
Great plot and character development. Evie's novella's always seem like full novels. The writing is great, i love the diversity in characters, her MMC's are always the perfect men and gentlemen (until they're not IYKYK). I eat these up so quick.
