A shy girl. An outrageous offer. And a bargain that paints a target on her back.
ADELIE With my house in foreclosure, I need a job in the worst way. Modeling isn’t anything I ever thought I’d do, but the smoking hot billionaire owner of Wonderland insists I’ll make the perfect Alice for his theme park’s rebrand.
He’s offering an insane amount of money, so I agree...even if there are risks involved.
MADDOX I’m only out to save my theme park. I didn’t realize getting so close to Adelie put her in peril. Someone from my past wants to take down Wonderland, and they don’t care that Adelie is in the way.
I up the ante, chancing everything to keep her safe. Too bad that right now, I’m the most dangerous person she can be around.
Can we find out who’s trying to sabotage Wonderland and keep Adelie safe?
If you like the searing charm of Anne-Marie Meyer and the heroic romance of Cami Checketts, you’ll love the sweet romance, edge-of-your-seat stakes, and fairytale feel of this engaging series.
Buy ALICE AND THE BILLIONAIRE’S WONDERLAND, a fairytale retelling with suspense, to see how Adelie and Maddox prove whether or not true love really conquers all. This book has been recently revised with an all-new, additional plot line and over 30,000 more words jammed with snarky scenes, steamy kisses, and heartfelt, closed-door romance.
Catelyn Meadows is a romantic at heart. A mom of four munchkins, Catelyn married a true-blue farm boy who still makes her heart pitter-pat, and she wanted to create stories that do the same. She also writes clean, young adult fantasy romance as USA Today bestselling author, Cortney Pearson.
Ugh. Swing and miss. I thought this would be a fun little fluffy read, but it just kept getting more obnoxious. She's just so shy and awkward and so well-intentioned and so responsible unlike her sister. And she just doesn't know how to have fun. But she somehow is the one person to have this money an opportunist just fall into her lap with no effort. But she doesn't want it or the limelight it would bring to her life, but of course she gets pressured into it because unless she does this thing that she doesn't want to do, with no warning, that will completely upend her life, then she'll just be a scaredy cat. Right… and him forcing his ideas on her, bribing her, pressuring her, pushing her around is all fine because he's just so enamored with her ever since he first saw her having a bad time at his park. So he just really wants her and her image in his life. So she just has to go along with him and whatever he thinks should be done about how he's fucked up her life. Throw in a random incident of possible assault by creepy perverts for no reason and he can just take whatever measures are necessary to protect her. Gag. Can't read any more.
Adelie is so messed up. She needs therapy. The book hints at some type of abuse and a neglect, and now she is afraid of her own shadow. Adelie can barely leave the house and doesn’t want anyone to look at her. So many unresolved issues. Her sister also has issues, dating someone for four years and no commitment? Both sisters need therapy before they can truly understand a long term commitment.
Maddox was too pushy and jumped into a relationship with Adelie. If he truly wanted to protect her, he should have a hired security for her, and set her up in a safe environment. He is a billionaire! Instead, he decides to push her more out of her comfort zone, by marrying her? Then won’t kiss her at their wedding because now he doesn’t want to push her? Best of luck to you both.

Loved this one so much! The new villain theme through these books is so much fun-intriguing and just the right amount of suspense, but still leaves you with a happily ever after. Loved Maddox & Addie🩵! It’s a marriage of convenience trope you all🤩! Definitely going to need Duncan’s book as soon as possible!
Catelyn Meadows has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Adelie and Maddox. Maddox is the owner of Wonderland Theme Park and he needs to do something to bring more guests into the park. He decides to have live actors play certain characters. He put an ad out for the position and has over 100 applications for the part of Alice. Adelie has gone for a job interview but doesn't accept the job since the man doing the interview tries to hit on her. When she gets home, she finds a foreclosure notice on the door. She thought her sister Suzie was paying the payment, but she hadn't been paying it. They are talking when Suzie sees an ad on the TV for Wonderland Theme Park. It is for the part of Alice. Suzie tells Adelie that she should apply for the job. Adelie tells her that she is not going to apply because she is going to talk to Ella, their cousin about working at Sweet Ever After. Ella is engaged to Hawk and they are friends with Maddox. She knows about the jobs Maddox wants to fill. She sends him a text and tells him she has the perfect person for Alice. Ella gets him to agree to a time to meet Adelie at Wonderland. Suzie tells Adelie that she can talk to Ella at Wonderland since they will be going that Friday for Ella and Hawk's engagement celebration. Maddox gets held up for his meeting with Adelie and is running late. He sees a woman that he wants to meet since he thinks she would be perfect for Alice. He goes to talk to her and at first, she gives him a hard time. Maddox doesn't know what Adelie looks like. Adelie has gotten separated from Ella, Hawk, and Suzie and they go looking for her. They find her talking to Maddox. He is trying to get her to accept the job of Alice. She tells him that she will think about it after they talk about the job and pay. With what he was going to be paying her, she and Suzie could get the house payment caught up. Adelie agrees to take the job and when she gets to where Maddox tells her to be, it is for a photo shoot. After Adelie starts working, she is a hit as Alice. Maddox is attracted to Adelie and she is attracted to him. They end up becoming friends at first. Maddox needs her help with his inheritance. He needs to get married to get it, He asks Adelie to help him. She agrees but on the day of the wedding, Scarlett, his ex-girlfriend shows up and tries to stop the wedding. Things start to happen to Adelie over something that he signed back in college. Adelie knows all about the Pact and what happened to Ella when she got together with Hawk. Adelie gets taken and Maddox goes looking for her. Will Maddox be in time to save Adelie? Will Adelie and Maddox get together? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

We know instantly Catleyn meadows is going to make this a true to original storyline when we find Maddox one of the main M/C’s looking at rabbits, which immediately endeared me to his character. He dosnt need the Wonderland as he has his Billions but he has a bigger heart. Do you believe in love at first site? Is true love real? One things for sure denial is definitely real, especially when an old flame keeps throwing doubts your way. Alongside all this a best friend who is what, Jealous? Unbelievably doubtful that any of these feelings are said with conviction, especially when he has feelings for another but to him that would mean giving a part of you nobody deserves. Will Duncan follow the path of his friend, have the strength or denial to keep them both from happiness. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, as you deserve to follow the path carved out by Catelyn Meadows. This author knows how to grip and ensnare you with her story re-tellings. She is also exceptional at transferring emotions from the written word into your heart as you feel every happiness, sadness, surety, doubt, love and hate plus everything inbetween. I never feel like I need to comment on the world building as everything is so natural it’s never a thought. As always I look forward to the next work of art Catelyn Meadows presents to us.
This was perhaps the most well written and developed work that Ms. Meadows has ever produced! The pulls upon your heart are strong as this captivating tale unfolds. I found so much of myself in this Alice that at times I was astounded as to how things were unfolding. The emotions behind these character's actions are thought provoking and raw with intensity.
Our Alice is tender hearted and you just want to wrap her up in a warm blanket and save the day for her. She's absolutely precious and seeing her character growth in choosing her happily ever after was a moment that you'll want to applaud.
Maddox is one book boyfriend that you'll want to cuddle up with. His sincerity is genuine. He's a problem solver who doesn't let money determine his future. I loved his determination to make a future with this sweet Alice.
If you love contemporary romance that pulls from a favorite fairytale, look no further! This series is delightful and warm and embodies the best of it's heroes and heroines.
"Alice and the Billionaire's Wonderland" A Fairy Tale Romance (Once Upon a Billionaire, Book 3) by Catelyn Meadows Narrated by: Jennifer Jill Araya A Story Worth the Read Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this audio book. Every time I start to describe something I enjoyed about this story; I have to delete what I have written because I do not want to spoil the story for you. If you read the publishers summary and thought 'I might like this story' then I say go for it. It is a fun sweet clean contemporary romance. And, did I say a fun read? Happy Reading ! ! NOTE: I was gifted a copy via Audible.
The concept behind this story is really cute. I had a hard time rooting for the romance because the main character has some severe attachment issues and the constant barrage of self-sabotage is cringey.
It's a poor representation of Alice from Alice in Wonderland because in the book Alice is sane and the world is crazy. In this story it's the opposite. This lady has no business getting married and I'm so glad her lover made her sign a prenuptial agreement.
Note:
I was imagining the love interest as wearing a Willy Wonka outfit the whole time. It made him a much more interesting character.
Alice and the Billionaire’s Wonderland is a suspenseful romantic retelling of a fairytale which features Maddox, the wealthy owner of the sabotaged Wonderland Theme Park who has decided to incorporate live characters to enhance attendance, and Adelie, who accepts the job of Alice after her home is placed in foreclosure. Adeline agrees to a fake marriage so Maddox can try to identify the dangerous saboteur. Their story has great characters, a fake relationship which becomes real, mystery, suspense, and a creative plot.

I enjoyed this book. I was never a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland, but all of the references in this book was cute. The Billionaire owned a theme park based on that story. The characters were well developed and believable. I loved how a marriage of convenience turned into so much more and what Maddox did to prove his love. A fun read/listen, I recommend it.
The narrator did a very good job on this, made you feel like you were right there in the midst of the story.

This book left me starry eyed. I loved that Adelie is so innocent - she is truly awed by everything in life. So inspiring to take a look at everything like it's new. Maddox sees her innocence and truly wants to protect her. I think he fell in love with her at first sight. I loved feeling that sense of Wonder that these two well developed characters took me on. Catelyn Meadows writes a fairy tale almost as easily as the Grimm Brothers or Lewis Carroll.
Overall, a very pleasant story. There were a few parts that were very sweet. Also, Wonderland was worked into the story seamlessly. Maddox was a good guy, almost perfectly good, in fact. However, he fit in with the fairy tale theme of the series. Adelie was...frustrating. Repeatedly. She's not going to be my favorite character in the series, but the story was still fun and the end was satisfying.
Great retelling of Alice in Wonderland - actually not crazy like the original version(liked it too). Enjoyed seeing the romantic adventure of Maddox (Maddox Hatter - great name) and Adelie. Some really great references and takes on Alice in Wonderland. Of course there is a villain who we love to dislike. A great ending that left me smiling. I listened to this book on audible and the narrator did an amazing job. Loved her voice.
I liked the idea it had promise but she was just so naieve and OK I'm not expecting instant trust but her continued distrust of Maddox was so annoying after a while. It's just one misunderstanding after another that could have been solved with a brief conversation. I like adults in a romance to at least be mature enough to have a conversation not just run away before bothering to even ask a question.
*Fake Marriage *Mink FMC *Billionaire Husband This was a sweet Hallmark, fade-to-black story. I like how Maddox tries to save Adelie from herself and all her fears. Although it was a fake marriage between two strangers, he still treated her well and tried to help with all her issues. While this is not the type of romance book I lean towards it was a sweet little romance. But if you enjoy reading someone being railed and very detailed spicy scenes this book isn’t for you.
If you have read book 1or 2 in this Once Upon a Billionaire, you know that Catelyn has written some really GLORIOUS books in this series so far and this book takes the cake as well. Adelie and Maddox are written really well, and the book has a storyline that I found to be really sweet together once they get past the rough spots.

Alice and the Billionaire’s Wonderland is brilliant! The author did a wonderful job of incorporating the fairytale into this modern day sweet and clean romance. The characters are vibrant and well developed. The storyline engaged me from the beginning and the twists kept me reading. This is a fun read! I received an ARC of this book and have chosen to give my honest opinion.
Alice and the Billionaire's Wonderland: A Clean Billionaire Fairy Tale Romance (Once Upon a Billionaire Book 4) by Catelyn Meadows is a wonderful read. sweet, enjoyable and clean.great storyline, great characters with great chemistry, well done! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book
Adelie goes to the Wonderland Theme Park with her sister to try and find a white rabbit and win enough money to keep their house from being foreclosed on. She does, catching the eye of Maddox and then things change when he asks her to become Alice. Very sweet story!
I really enjoyed this storyline. Adelie needs to help out her family and Maddox needs to boost interest in his amusement park. The two meet at a scavenger hunt and that is the beginning of it all.
Adelie is timid and reluctant to believe in others. Maddox just wants her to become the person he’s seen glimpses of.
Ever read/listened to a book where you really like the story but can't stand the heroine? This is one of those for me. I don't like the female protagonists who are overly shy, awkward weak, and "who me, really, could he possibly, really, truly like me?". This book could have been great, if Adelie wasn't the main character.
I will admit to running out of patience with Adelie. I can’t imagine having the kind of fear of the world that she did. Maddox was patient and kind, bending over backwards to help her once he realized how frightened she was. She very much did resemble Alice. Luckily all’s well that ends well.
This was a good read. Adelie is looking for a job. Maddox gives her a job as Alice. They decide to fake marry in order to figure out who is behind everything. Thankfully, in the end everything works out for them.
Another quick and easy, yet clean romance read for the summer! I found these characters just as enjoyable but less realistic. Absolutely love the Wonderland theme and how the mmc is a bit like his namesake.
Such a sweet tale. I loved the references to the original, while still making it it's own story. Couldn't put it down, and desperate for the next fairy tale!
This was a sweet clean enjoyable read. Love how it incorporated the original fairytale but stayed true to itself. Great characters and wonderful chemistry.
