Long ago Rourke Clarke gave his heart to the only woman he will ever love. He was resigned to a life without her even though she was the fire that lit up his soul. He would gladly let her burn him to ash for one more chance.
Charlemaine Morgan learned a long time ago that everything has a cost. The Navy cost her the love of her life. The cost of being with her abusive ex was her unborn child. Now, she wonders what the cost will be if she gives Rourke a second chance.
Rourke fought hard to overcome his childhood. When he learns what Charlie endured at the hands of her ex, the past that haunts his dreams resurfaces. But can he overcome his fears to be the man she deserves?
The past never stays dead for long. And when it collides with the present and threatens the life they have built, they have to trust all they feel for each other to survive.
Codename Havoc, Book 4 in The Omega Series, is intended for mature audiences over eighteen due to language, sexual situations, and depictions of trauma.
Codename Havoc by J.R. Tootill is probably one of my top 5 listens of the year! This is book four in her Omega Security Series. J.R. writes her stories with so much emotion, and Codename Havoc certainly kept me on the edge of my emotions. I laughed, cried, and cheered for these characters.
We begin Charlie and Rourke’s story on assignment after a particularly bad day that involved characters from previous books in the Omega Series. That is one thing that I love about this series; when we finish a book, it does not mean that we will not get to see or hear from those characters again, because this group is a family and they are so entwined in each other’s lives.
Years later, Charlie finds herself in a relationship that she flees from and heads to the Omega Security Team to rejoin forces with Tuc, her old boss. Surrounding herself with Tuc and Leda and the rest of the Omega Security team, Charlie has a sense of safety and security.
After a few years at Omega Security, Charlie finds herself face to face with Rourke Clarke, the one who got away. Rourke promises that things will be different this time, but can he keep that promise?
This story is about two people who have to work through their trauma to find the strength to love each other. J.R. creates such strong yet vulnerable characters that you can’t help but love and root for.
Then, there is the performance by Raven Rose and Joe Arden. Raven is a new to me narrator, but she portrayed Charlie’s story with such talent that I was blown away. I cannot wait to listen to more books narrated by Raven Rose. I could feel the character’s emotions in the words that she spoke. Then there is Joe Arden, who gave us an incredible performance for Rourke. Rourke is a tough Navy Seal who has his trauma to deal with, and Joe taps into those emotions with such intensity that I felt those emotions as I listened. This audiobook was so well casted and well done. The Bluenose Audio team did a stellar job with the production of this book.
If you have not jumped on the 𝗢𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 by 𝙹. 𝚁. 𝚃𝚘𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚕, what are you waiting on!? They are so amazing! Masterfully woven, they pull you in instantly and keep you up late at night listening/turning pages because you just can't get enough!
I absolutely loved seeing Havoc get his story!!!!! He and Charlie's story resonated with me on so many emotional levels and watching them get their second chance......*chef's kiss*! From the minute they lay eyes on each other, the sparks fly. The way that Havoc is a cinnamon roll only for Charlie left me swooning so many times!
𝑅𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑒 is a new narrator for me and I absolutely fell in love with her talent! The way she brought Charlie to life was absolutely beautiful! 𝐽𝑜𝑒 𝐴𝑟𝑑𝑒𝑛, a masterful narrator, matched her energy bringing us Havoc. He hit every single emotion with ease and had the chemistry between Charlie & Havoc flowing, complete with the banter! A powerhouse narrating duo!!!
The heaviness of some of what these characters go through, shouldn't be taken without reading the trigger warnings. Both characters have a traumatic past, both characters work to overcome that past and with unexpected twists in their paths, these two are absolutely meant to be together!
Once again, 𝙹.𝚁. 𝚃𝚘𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚕 creates a story of suspense, love and hope within the pages. I absolutely can not wait for book 5!
Rounded up from 3.5. I think I loved Tuck, Lyda, Skeet, and Alex too much because as the series goes on, I’m not as invested as I was in the first two. Each couple has their different challenges, but it’s starting to feel like the same story framework with different characters holding up the roles. I love JR Tootill and I love this Omega Security family, and the audios are really good with talented voice actors; but I’m not sure if I’m going to continue the series.
*I listened to the audiobook* This was my favorite one of the series. So, good. J.R. tells stories that grip you from the get-go. Rourke (Havoc) was such a surprising character to me. His love for Charlie is unmatched. I definitely didn't expect him to be my favorite MMC of the series.
Incredible Story & Narration🎧 Gripping & Profound!
Codename Havoc Omega Security Series By: JR Toottill Narrated by: Raven Rose, Joe Arden
J.R. Tootill pens another amazing “Omega Security” series novel, and it is fantastic, a military romantic suspense that captivates your attention the entire time and tugs at your heartstrings too. I am loving this series and as much as I want to say it just keeps getting better and better, it would not be fair to the earlier book which are just as fabulous, and to get the best of the incredible world building it is best to enjoy the books in order written. The Omega Security team, former military operatives and agents, continues to grow, and this fourth book is Charlemaine “Charlie” Morgan’s and Rourke Clarke’s story, which began ten years earlier when they first met while serving in Iraq. The two had a fling back then and had feelings for one another, or so Charlie thought, but he upped and left without a word in the middle of the night and it isn’t until years later that they meet again, when Rourke joins Omega Security and puts his own team together. Rourke has worked with the members of Omega in the past and has made appearances in earlier books. Charlie and Rourke’s reunion was not exactly a friendly one, but the one thing that was for sure was the feelings they still harbored for one another. Hearing Charlie’s backstory and what she endured before coming to Omega was gut wrenching, and so was her struggle with her inner demons and PTSD from the trauma, but she had the strength to leave a terrible situation. It was great to watch Charlie and Rourke reunite and rekindle their love and the fire between, but there is never a dull moment in this book, with new operations in the field, operations gone bad and then Charlie’s past coming back to haunt her. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all plays out, with plenty of drama, angst, some action, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Like the first three books, the writing, plot and world building are incredible, as are the character growth and development. J.R. Tootill, thank you for another amazing story, the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride, too.
🎧📚🎧 Raven Rose and Joe Arden were fantastic voicing these characters and performed each role brilliantly, embodying their personality and delivering a spot on portrayal. Arden was Rourke and was a natural in his role, from his alpha side to his caring side, Rose as Charlie was perfection, grasping her demeanor, her vulnerabilities and her strengths. You could hear how much heart these two put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions, and had you feel every single one. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complemented each other and a captivating performance that keeps you glued to the story. They are entertaining storytellers who take this already incredible story to another level, an enjoyable and top-notch listen.
I received an ALC from Bluenose Audio. all opinions are my own.
I wasn't sure what I was getting into when starting this book, I definitely want to go back and start with the beginning of this series, I feel like I would feel closer to Rourke and Charlie, but I will say that I did love the story line. I actually can't wait for Cobra's story.
Joe and Raven were perfect for these characters, there was so much drama and sadness in this story, but there were also funny parts and sexy times. hahaha and I really adored those moments with Rourke and Charlie! They were definitely meant for each other.
I really enjoy military romances, these guys are freaking badass's and they protect our country and families and our lives. They give 110% all the time to get back to those they love. That takes a very selfless and courageous person to do that. I loved they both Rourke and Charlie had both served and they knew what it took to go out and do those jobs. It has to be very scary. But Charlie was so strong, and that is what I loved about her character. She was so strong and steady and just never wavered until Jack came back in her life. I have never been in a relationship like she had with Jack, but that would scare anyone, especially someone who is also a cop, he is supposed to uphold the law and protect and serve. But when people like that are unstable they think they can do anything and treat anyone as they please. So in the end when Charlie was second guessing Rourke's feelings and his commitment to her, it was just so sad to see. Here is this strong woman brought down by a piece of shit, and she can't even rely on her own feelings because she was so scared. THAT made me cry for her. I only wanted peace in her life and she finally found it, but that was such a long road for her and I feel like it only made her stronger.
I do hope we get to see her and Rourke a bit more in Cobra's book, since Jake and Rourke are besties, I have a feeling we will.
I gave this 4 stars because in the end it did drag out a bit and they were saying the same things over and over and that was a little annoying, but I understand where Charlie is coming from and she's just trying to make sure that her and Rourke were still good even though she did abandon him and leave him on read for like 3 months, and then she went on and on about how they could have been preparing for the babies and spending time together and maybe even looking for a bigger house... etc... but it all worked out in the end.
Format: Audiobook Narrators: Raven Rose and Joe Arden Genre: Contemporary, Second Chance Romance
⚠️Read the Trigger Warnings⚠️
Codename Havoc is book 4 in the Omega Security Series and I think this one might be my new favorite in the series - yes, I've said that before, but I mean it this time😏
This book broke my heart but I loved every moment of it. I was not prepared on how much it would effect me. I adored Charlie and Rourke aka Havoc and their relationship. The way Rourke loved Charlie was possessive and all consuming; exactly what she needed.
Charlie, a badass FMC who works directly with a team of Navy Seals. Always being deployed together, they have built a family within their team. Of course she has secret nights with Rourke. Neither believe they can give more than the ‘no feelings’ arrangement but they soon learn that both of them were wrong.
Fast forward many years and the team has gone their separate ways. Charlie is sadly in an abusive relationship that has taken an even darker turn. Rourke never settled down because he was always deployed on a mission and he never actually let the love of his life go. Circumstances bring them back together and we are taken down an entertaining but emotional journey as they begin to unravel the past and learn who they currently are to each other.
Havoc was such an emotional story, I couldn’t help but allow my heart to break for these characters and what they experienced. It takes a lot for a book to make me cry... twice. I cried when Charlie flashed back to the abuse she endured by her ex. The fear and anxiety she lived with. I also couldn’t stop the tears when Rourke was desperate... for her ... those voicemails were brutal. Hearing such a strong man broken was almost too much. I adored Charlie and the person she became throughout her journey. The fact that she was so strong and was able to survive her past but yet vulnerable enough to need Rourke. She has quickly become one of my favorite FMC’s.
Performed in duet by Raven Rose and Joe Arden, they were perfect at giving Charlie and Rourke a pulse. This was my first book narrated by Raven Rose but it will not be my last. She brought so much life and energy to Charlie. It’s no surprise that Joe Arden once again showed his amazing talent by giving Rourke such raw, gritty emotions. Being one of my favorite narrators, I knew his performance was going to be incredible.
Do I recommend? Absolutely, YES!

Book 4 in the Omega Security series, and somehow, this series just keeps getting better. This time, we follow Omega’s newest addition, Rourke, and his always girl, Charlie. Their history spans ten years, and though life has thrown them both through the wringer, their feelings for each other have never wavered. Charlie has endured deep trauma, and Rourke carries his own scars. Alone, they’ve each been close to breaking—but together, can they make it through?
JR Tootill does a fantastic job handling sensitive topics with care, never diminishing their weight but weaving them seamlessly into the story. One thing I’ve loved throughout this series is the way she writes her FMCs—strong, fierce, and unrelenting. They don’t hold back just to fit the mold of what’s considered ladylike. They are powerful, capable, and thrive in a male-dominated world while still being beautifully complex, loving, and deeply human.
Charlie starts off in a vulnerable place, struggling to remember her own strength after everything she’s been through. Rourke is the balance she needs—pushing her to thrive while also knowing when to be tender. His protectiveness, patience, and unwavering love make him the perfect match for her.
The audiobook performances by Joe Arden and Raven Rose were spot on. Joe, as always, embodied Rourke effortlessly, making it easy to forget he was even acting. I like how he portrayed the strong leader Rourke is and seamlessly transitioned to the softer patient partner Charlie needed. This was my first time listening to Raven Rose, and she was amazing—bringing out Charlie’s raw vulnerability in a way that made me want to comfort her while also delivering her strength in a way that had me cheering her on.
This story, combined with the outstanding voice acting, was spectacular. I highly recommend this book and the entire Omega Security series. 5/5 stars.
Codename: Havoc is an action packed drama blended perfectly with a beautiful second chance love story. Charlie has survived more than her fair share of heartbreak. After being abandoned by Rourke—she ends up in a toxic, abusive marriage. When she finally escapes after a brutal attack, she finds herself at the Omega compound, only to be reunited with Rourke after many years apart. Their connection is still there, raw and undeniable, but their reunion isn’t without complications. Rourke, a former Navy SEAL, has his own demons to battle. The regret of walking away from Charlie weighs on him, and now that she’s back in his life, he’s determined to prove he’s not going anywhere. But between their painful past, the trauma she’s endured, and his struggle with taking on more missions after a devastating loss, their journey back to each other is anything but easy.
Narrator Raven Rose perfectly embodies Charlie’s transformation—from a woman weighed down by fear and pain to someone who stands her ground and refuses to be broken. Co-star Joe Arden delivers an incredible performance as Rourke, balancing his tough, alpha presence with the vulnerability and emotion that make him such a compelling and loveable character.
Toothill perfectly weaves together action, romance, and emotional depth, making this book so much more than just a love story. Combined with the phenomenal performances of two outstanding voice actors, I was completely hooked from the very first chapters.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Audiobook Review: Codename Havoc by JR Tootill 🎧 Narrated by Joe Arden and Raven Rose
Codename Havoc is JR Tootill’s best work yet—a five-star emotional rollercoaster that hits all the right notes. This fourth book in the Omega Security Series brings Rourke and Charlie’s tragic pasts to the forefront, and the result is nothing short of powerful.
Joe Arden absolutely owns the role of Rourke. He’s appeared in every installment of the series, but his performance here is next-level. His delivery captures Rourke’s fierce intensity, vulnerability, and depth in a way that left me in tears. There were moments I forgot I was listening to an audiobook—his ability to portray children’s voices with such emotional weight made the scenes feel heartbreakingly real. It was gut-wrenching, tragic, and brilliant.
Raven Rose is a new-to-me narrator, but she’s now firmly on my radar. Her portrayal of Charlie was masterful—handling everything from intimate, steamy scenes to moments of raw emotional pain with grace and authenticity. Her voice was a perfect match for Charlie’s strength and softness.
JR Tootill has truly found her rhythm with these characters and this world. Codename Havoc is a standout in the Omega Security series, and the narration takes it to even greater heights.
If you love romantic suspense with depth, heart, and phenomenal voice acting, this one’s a must-listen. I can’t wait for what’s next!
This is book 4 in the Omega Series by JR Tootill. Each book is an interconnected stand alone that will follow a different couple who works for Omega. The is Charlemaine Morgan & Rourke Clarke, AKA Havoc's story.
I listened to this on Audiobook. The narrators are Joe Arden and Raven Rose and this book is performed in duet style narration. Joe is an absolutely amazing actor. I know...I talk about his performances all the time. He is one of the most amazing voice actors that I have listened too. His emotional performances and wide array of talent is why he is so good. He can do crazy and he can do sweet but most of all he is just darn good at his job. I will listen to his books anytime. Joe Is just that great of a voice performer and brings everything he has to each and every role. I loved him as Havoc. Between the PTSD, the injuries and his absolute terror when Charlie was taken...Let's just say I never stopped listening to this book. Joe wasn't the only amazing performer either. This was my first book by Raven and I loved her portrayal of Charlie. Again, this was an emotional book and Raven nailed it. from the tragic scenes to the funny banter to the action that was always present in this story, Raven was phenomenal.
I am so mad at myself I didn't start this series from the beginning. It has all the things I love in an action packed romance. The story was amazing, the relationship development was on point and I loved the found family that the author created. I can guarantee, I will be going back and reading the first 3 books in this series. Well done! I will not only be looking for more books by this author but the voice performers as well.
Book four in the Omega Series, Codename Havoc brings the heat, the heartbreak, and the hope - just the way J.R. Toothill does best. This time, we’re diving deep into Havoc aka Rourke’s story, and wow, it delivers. When Rourke joins Omega Security, he's forced to face the woman he’s never stopped loving - Charlie. Their shared past is complicated, painful, and still very raw. A lot has changed in the years they've been apart, but their love? Undeniably intact. The question is: can they get out of their own way to make it last this time?
J.R. once again pulls readers in with gripping storytelling and character arcs that feel so real. You’ll laugh, cry (yes, tissues were very necessary), and get to catch up with all your favorite Omega Security crew.
But let’s talk narration: phenomenal. This was my first time hearing Raven Rose, and she nailed Charlie - capturing both her tough-as-nails badassery and her vulnerable, aching heart. Joe Arden as Havoc? Flawless. His emotional delivery, especially during the scenes dealing with team fallout, had me in tears. Joe always brings it, but when he’s paired with someone who can match his energy? Magic. And Raven absolutely did.
Hands down, my favorite book in the series. Bring on Cobra’s story! I’m so ready. Bravo, JR, Raven, and Joe!
Codename Havoc Omega Security Series, Book 4 By: J.R. Tootill Narrated by: Raven Rose, Joe Arden
I am all in with this series. Every book is so good, I can't wait for the next. This is Rourke and Charlie's story and it's a straight on listen. Don't bother me, my book is on! Rourke and Charlie have a history, and now they are both at Omega. But what do they find out ten years later? Despite their initial meeting, they still have the chemistry and feelings. Charlie is dealing with a past that just won't go away, but the team is on it, keeping her safe. Rourke is ready to give the relationship his all, and is beginning to question what he wants for his life too. This book is packed with tragedy and fear, a bit of self realization and family and most importantly love. I could not get enough, each chapter had me wanting more. This ensemble character cast is phenomenal, and I love it.
Raven Rose is Charlie, and as a first time hearing her, she is fantastic. She is right in Charlie's head, delivering all the emotions and there are a lot. Joe Arden is Rourke with all the feels. Rourke is complex. While being the brave team leader, he is an alpha protective teddy bear and Arden nails each scene. I loved this pairing and their performance.
I was super excited to get to Rourke's book and it didn't disappoint. Rourke gave his heart to the only woman he ever loved. Charlemaine learned a long time ago that everything has a cost. The Navy cost her the love of her life. Her abusive ex cost her unborn child. Now, she wonders what will cost her if she gives Rourke a second chance. When Rourke finds out what Charlemaine went through with her ex, the past comes back and haunts his dreams.
I've been enjoying every book in this series. Rourke's story is a fantastic addition. I loved that we learn more about his background and upbringing. His childhood was so tough. Charlemaine had a rough past as well. I didn't like her ex at all. He was so horrible to her. She escaped it and became a strong, brave person. I loved her resilience the most. The story was evenly paced and had great character development. I loved seeing Rourke and Charlemaine's growth and healing journey individually and loved that they dived right into it together.
As for the audiobook narration, it's so good! Performed in duet by Joe Arden and Raven Rose. These two were amazing! They both embodied their characters. Joe conveyed Rourke with a deep, serious tone that also captured Rourke's love for Charlemaine. Raven conveyed Charlemaine with a soft, raspy tone that captured Charlemaine's fondness for Rourke. I could feel the chemistry between the two characters through the narration. Plus the flashbacks of their emotional pasts was done so well by Joe and Raven's expressive tones. Highly recommend the audio!
Audiobook coming soon!
Thank you to @bluenoseaudio for my ALC and for the opportunity to review and listen.
Book 4 in The Omega Series finds us with Rourke "Havoc" Clarke declaring his love for my favorite side-character Charlemaine "Charlie" Morgan. The story is heavy on the romance, light on the mystery and suspense, which feels different than the other Omega Series books thus far. We get a lot of backstory on both characters, both bringing loads of baggage into this second chance romance. Charlie has a lot of trauma from her ex-boyfriend and you see how that impacts her relationship with Rourke. Rourke himself has some hang-ups with his family life and the way he left Charlie when he deployed, which leads him to really struggle internally. Tootill has just a magnificent way with words, the writing intelligent as always.
The audio for the book was good. This was duet narration by Raven Rose and Joe Arden. I felt that Raven did not differentiate her voice enough when voicing multiple female characters for my liking, but she was very good at the variety of emotions needed to portray Charlie. As a new to me narrator, I think I have to listen to her a few more times. Joe's performance was great as always. You can tell he's spent a lot of time immersed in the character of Rourke. Thanks to Blue Nose for the chance to listen and review.
JR Tootill writes engaging third-person romance with emotional depth and suspenseful edge. Her military romance series can be read as standalones or as a complete arc, and Havoc—the fourth installment—is a powerful addition.
This story takes the traumatic pasts of both the MMC and FMC and grips you like a vice from start to finish. Their emotional scars are raw, their healing journey intense, and the slow-burning chemistry between them is beautifully written.
Tootill masterfully weaves romance with mystery, giving readers a story that’s as heart-wrenching as it is thrilling. She knows how to balance tension and tenderness, and Havoc is no exception. With layered characters, emotional vulnerability, and a dash of danger, this book hits all the marks for fans of military romance with real stakes.
Narrated by Raven Rose and Joe Arden the audio brings these characters vividly to life. Raven Rose, a new-to-me narrator, impressed me with her ability to capture the emotional layers of the female lead—balancing strength and vulnerability with grace. Joe Arden, as always, delivers a commanding and emotionally charged performance that grounds the story in authenticity.
Another phenomenal production by Blue Nose Audio. Available now!
Codename Havoc was another 5 star story in the Omega Security series. J.R. Tootill’s writing is sharp and immersive, as always, expertly balancing thrilling action sequences with deeper character development and just the right amount of spice. I was hooked from the prologue, drawn into the world of these strong, brave characters and their equally intense personal struggles.
What stands out the most is the attention to detail. Whether it's the authenticity of the covert operations or the banter and romance between the leads, Codename Havoc feels incredibly real. The pacing is spot on—each chapter leaves you wanting more, making it nearly impossible to put the book down.
I was provided an A L C of the audiobook performed impeccably by Joe Arden as the witty, fiercely protective Rourke and Raven Rose as the cautious, intelligent Charlie.
The chemistry between the leads adds an emotional depth to the narrative, taking the stakes even higher.
If you enjoy gripping stories with heart and heat, Codename Havoc is a must-read.
This is my ALC: This story really surprised me. It was so cohesive and exciting. Mixing the lives of the Omega Team and the people they fight for, and with. Rourke (Codename Havoc) and Charlie have been in love since the moment they met, but timing and internalized self depreciation keep them from believing they can be together. They carry on as comrades until Charlie needs help from her Omega brothers. Lighting hits the two and they run with the sparks. This time they aren’t letting go. Voice Actor Raven Rose is a new voice to me, but I loved every second of her as Charlie! She brought Charlie and her hardships to the forefront of her performance. Joe Arden as Havoc was everything I knew Joe would bring to this character he was angry, distressed and yet loving and caring. It was sensational.
Rourk and Charlie's story is probably my favorite so far. The emotional rollercoaster in this book was so well plotted I lost myself deep in their story. The writing pulled me in within the first chapter. I say it every time I don't normally enjoy 3rd POV, but JR Tootill has a way with words that easily make you fall in love with the characters. This story was so emotional. I love a good second chance romance, and this one checked all the boxes.
The book was narrated by Raven Rose and Joe Arden. I've never heard Raven before, and I really liked her voice. I felt like it fit with Charlie's personality so well. Given the triggers and content of this story, I feel like she gave a top-notch performance in regards to the emotions the character was going through. Joe did a great job as well, I liked him as Rourk.
Codename Havoc By: JR Tootill Narrators: Joe Arden & Raven Rose
I’ve been patiently waiting for this one the moment I finished Codename Blade!
Charlie and Rourke had me in their spell by chapter 2. There’s just something about a man who is so entranced by a woman in the beginning of a book. I really enjoyed the suspense, the love story, and the found family aspects of this book and this whole series.
I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Raven Rose before but she blew me away in this role. I don’t think I could ever think of anyone besides her as Charlie.
Joe Arden is a phenomenal voice actor and of course he was amazing as Rourke. I loved how he brought all the males to life.
ALC Review This is book 4 in the Omega Series. I love this series and have been dying to read more about Havoc since he showed up in book 3. Rourke (Havoc) and Charlie have great chemistry together even after being apart for 10 years. They just picked up where they left off. Their relationship gives you all the feels with some twists and turns along the way. It was great to see their relationship grow in the face of some unexpected happenings. Joe Arden and Raven Rose, who is a new to me narrator, were amazing. They really played out the parts so well and you could definitely feel their emotions. I have to thank JR Tootill and BNA for this ALC. It is always a pleasure to listen to one of their books.
I love the Omega series and the narration is top notch!
What I love about the series: how each character peels back the layers of toughness to find their vulnerability and accept that feelings don’t make you weak and the found family within Omega. In book 4 we have that and then some. It’s a heartfelt second chance romance with childhood trauma and adult trauma coming together.
I felt this book was a little lacking. I’m not a pregnancy trope person so maybe that’s it, but the “my babies” was repetitive and Charlie really annoyed me with her non-communication and ignorance. For others, this might not be an issue. Overall still a great series.
Raven Rose and Joe Arden did an amazing job! I appreciate the ALC.
*ALC review* J.R. Tootill does it again with this latest installment of the Omega Series, this time giving me Rourke and Charlie's story, packed with all the drama and suspense I've come to love in these stories. After getting glimpses of Rourke throughout this series, I was more than ready to see what he was truly all about and what drove him to the choices he made. This story explained that and brought that element from his past back to give an entire new perspective, while also making sure I fell for him (even if sometimes he made me want to cĥôƙe him, lol). Charlie, on the other hand, was a whirlwind I didn't see coming, and I absolutely loved watching her and Rourke reconnect and ultimately find their HEA. Raven Rose was a new-to-me narrator, and I loved her portrayal of Charlie. Then you couple her with the powerhouse that is Joe Arden, and it was the perfect recipe to have me glued to my headphones!
I absolutely love this book from start to finish. I devoured this beautiful book in one day. JR ma’am you truly didn’t disappoint with this beautiful book. This beautiful book made me bawled my eyes out, laugh out loud, broke my poor beating heart, stole my heart.
I’ve loved this entire series, but Havoc is hands-down, my favorite because he has always loved Charlie. He has a fierce love for her that doesn’t compare to anything. Joe Arden truly was the embodiment of everything that is Havoc and then some. Joe’s raw vulnerability just made this beautiful book come to life. Rose performance in this spectacular book truly put me in my feels.
If you absolutely love, love love my book about finally being with the person that you absolutely love and adore, you need to get this book today. I’m thinking you need to get this beautiful audiobook today because Rose and Joe truly breathe life into this book.
I loved Roarke and Charlie’s story, sad in many places and healing in others. These two characters story was everything and their love was too. I love this world and all these characters, I love seeing everyone’s continuing stories within the next book, and cannot wait to hear Cobras story….
I got the ALC from BNA and loved this narration so much. Raven is new to me but did soooo good at voicing Charlie and everyone else. Joe was phenomenal with Roarke, and both narrators nailed this performance!
Codename Havoc is Rourke and Charlie's story. Rourke was a Navy Seal and Charlie used to spend her time surrounded by the team's while she worked to keep they safe and up to date. As the past comes back to haunt them they have to learn how to function in their new roles with Omega. We get to see the Omega team grow and meet new characters along the way. Make sure you check out the audiobooks for this series. Rourke is voiced by Joe and Charlie narrated by Raven, both of them are absolutely perfect for these characters. I can not wait to listen to Cobra Next!
Codename Havoc is the 4th book in JR Tootills Omega Series. I have loved every book in this series so far but Havoc is definitely one of my favorites. The connection and chemistry between the main characters is perfect. JR is a beautiful writer.
This wonderful audiobook is performed in duet by Raven Rose and Joe Arden. This is my first Raven audiobook and boy was I impressed. Such a strong performance. Joe never fails to impress. Their performances shined during emotional scenes and left me feeling every second of this story.
Duet narration performed by @therealjoearden & Raven Rose
• Second Chance • Ex-Special Forces • Trauma Survivors • “It’s Always Been You” • Suspense •
This book had me in a chokehold! The first two chapters were so jarring that I was completely hooked and along for the emotional ride!
Char and Rourke have been through so much individually and then together. Some healing has to happen individually, but what they find in each other is stability, a constant.
The audiobook was phenomenal! Joe and Raven both give performances fraught with emotion, passion, and turmoil, it’s so believable. Highly recommend listening to this one!
Codename Havoc is an amazing addition to The Omega Security Series. Raven Rose and Joe Arden were perfectly cast as Charlemaine Morgan and Rourke Clarke. I was drawn to their story and the journey Charle and Rourke took to become what they were always meant to be... together.
