Old Coins, Hidden Secrets, and Supernatural Mysteries
CJ Sandstone’s The Letter: Bridging The Past And Present In A Gripping Psychic Time Travel Tale.
For Amelia Blake, an inquisitive and dedicated teenager, high school seems so monotonous, especially history class, where lessons looked like a jumble of dry words and dates that she was supposed to memorize.
Then, bored while studying for a history test, she noticed a penny in the corner of her desk—an old, tarnished relic from 1861. Intriguingly, upon picking up the old coin, Amelia experienced a vivid dream about the Civil War. To her astonishment, she aced her history test the next morning.
Soon after, Amelia stumbled upon a mysterious letter accompanied by an invitation to visit Isabel Blake, a previously unknown relative in Dagrun, Massachusetts. The revelation startled her—she wasn't supposed to have any knowledge about her grandmother or the existence of the letter, as it had been concealed from her all this time. But why?
Resolved to find out, she decides to confront her parents and accept the invitation.
The unfolding events will not only test her resolve but also reshape her destiny.
Fans of the genre will enjoy “The A Psychic Time Travel Story”, a captivating prequel that embarks on psychic adventures set in the flexible time warp world of "The Calls from the Past" book series, penned by the promising author, CJ Sandstone.
"The Letter" is the Prequel to 'A Psychic Time Travel Story: The Calls from the Past series, written by CJ Sandstone. This is an amazing short story about a high school girl who finds a letter from a great-grandmother she never knew existed. Amelia also finds a stray kitten that she names Luna. On a visit to Great-Grandma Izzy, Amelia realizes that she is psychic and that psychic power is what led her to Luna, as well as leading her to find Izzy's letter. Amelia's psychic powers also helped her pass a history test when she held an old penny from 1861 and had an extremely accurate dream. This was a wonderful story and it had a Wow effect during that dream. I gave this short story a 5 star rating.
Amelia needed to learn history to pass to the next grade. While studying she had a dream about the civil war. She aced her test. She began having strange feelings and was able to see and feel things unexplainable to her until she met her great grandmother. Everything was explained to her and she was able to enjoy her gifts.
a good start for young adults but not quite Harry Potter
This is the fun beginning of series for young adults. Reading came before so much fun putting you somewhere else. It doesn’t quite own up to Harry Potter but a fun read.
