This is an excellent resource for anyone interested in carving monkeys and apes. It not only provides excellent patterns of various types of primates and monkeys in numerous poses but also beautiful photos of all sides of the finished products as well as step by step photos of the carving process. David Sabol's carving is done primarily by knife and chisel with some wood burning equipment. He also discusses the equipment he uses and the finishing process. This is an excellent resource for beginning carvers.
