I’m disappointed.. the first two books in this series were fairly enjoyable but Diamond Promises seemed Rushed.. and almost suitable for Children!

Also what’s with the publishing errors at the beginning of each chapter.. at least my Kindle copy is flawed with them right through the whole book??
Surely no professional publishing company would ever tolerate putting a clearly unacceptable book on the market… Especially when the author charges much more for a book than most other more popular authors do!
But what really gets me is that this authors stories are almost always written along the same lines! The only difference is that she sometimes changes the characters names and landscapes. That makes them incredibly predictable.

Well Abigail Dawson had had 30 years of struggle despite her being burn into money., but 2 weddings and 2 funerals and life is it about to change

Well despite the 2 weddings it's not a cut price film or book no this if a 5 star relax chill out read that I really enjoyed. It develops into not the story of Ollerthwaite a village in the up after a turn down Walter Crossley had spent years trying to change things and well you can read what happens. Lives can be changed for God and bad so I won't spoil it for you. There are several wonderful characters Abigail, Nina and Rufus are 3 of my favourites. There's a few to choice from. The story lines are excellent and well worked in want to know more of Polly by that could be in a later book if this becomes a series which I think it is. will let Anna Jacob tells us the ansa to that.

So I want to recommend this novel to you is a good chill out book a holiday read or filles a few evenings for you so go on is worth your well.

Hello there! Today, I am thrilled to share my thoughts on the delightful novel, "Anna Jacobs' Diamond Promises." Brace yourself for a heartwarming journey filled with love, determination, and unexpected blessings as Anna Jacobs skillfully transports us to another time and place.

From the very first page, I was captivated by the vivid and intricate storytelling that effortlessly immersed me in the lives of the characters. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century Lancashire, this tale weaves a beautiful tapestry of emotions, struggles, and triumphs.

The story revolves around young Abigail, a courageous and resilient woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when her father passes away, leaving her confused and alone. With a strong will to survive, Abigail sets out to unravel her fathers secrets, determined to build a better future for herself.

Jacobs' portrayal of Abigail is absolutely breathtaking. She has an incredible talent for crafting multidimensional characters that leap off the page, and Abigail is no exception. I found myself rooting for her every step of the way.

But it's not just Abigail who steals the spotlight. The supporting cast is equally well-developed and adds depth and richness to the narrative. From the man who captures her heart Rufus, to the owner of the Ollerton Estate, each character has a unique role to play, intertwining their lives in unexpected ways.

The plot unfolds at a perfect pace, keeping me engaged and eager to discover what lies ahead. Jacobs' talent for crafting believable and relatable dialogue further enhances the reading experience, drawing me deeper into the lives and emotions of the characters.

One of the many aspects I adored about this novel is the rich historical backdrop. Jacobs has clearly done her research, seamlessly blending real events and cultural nuances into the fabric of the story. It's a true testament to her dedication to authenticity and her ability to transport readers to a different era.

Moreover, the emotional depth of the story is remarkable. The themes of love, resilience, and the power of human connections resonate deeply, making this book more than just a captivating tale. It's a reminder of the strength we possess and the importance of never giving up.

"Anna Jacobs' Diamond Promises" is a triumph of storytelling, seamlessly blending history, romance, and personal growth into a tapestry that will leave readers spellbound. It's a compelling and heartwarming read, perfect for anyone seeking an absorbing and uplifting story that will stay with them long after the final page is turned.

In conclusion, I highly recommend "Anna Jacobs' Diamond Promises" to all fans of historical fiction and those who appreciate a beautifully crafted tale of determination, love, and the indomitable human spirit. Prepare to be swept away on an unforgettable journey that will leave you reaching for the tissues and longing for more. Trust me, this is a book that deserves a place on every bookshelf.

The third book in the gripping and heartwarming new Jubilee Lake series, from multi-million-copy bestselling author Anna Jacobs

Lancashire, 1895 . Abigail Dawson has lived in fear of her father for thirty years. But when, after uprooting them to a grand new home in Ollerthwaite, he's found murdered in the street, her life is turned upside down.

Alone and caught in a web of her father's secrets, Abigail needs someone to rely on - so when hardworking labourer Rufus promises her a new life, she's thrilled at the chance to have a family of her own. But can it be ever more than a marriage of convenience?

Meanwhile, the rebuilding of the Ollerton estate is bringing new life to the shores of Jubilee Lake - but old grudges, and new threats, are disturbing the peace. With plans for the Diamond Jubilee approaching, can the whole village band together to protect the valley?

My comments:

I loved this book a lot, this series really gripped me from start to finish and every single book was interesting, all the main characters in the 3 books were amazing and I really cared about what happened to them which is the sign of a great family saga. In my opinion these are books where you need to care about the characters and if I find i don't i'm usually not lightly to finish the book.

This book was great, we met Rufus briefly in book 2 so I was glad in book 3 he got his story. Abigale was a lovely character from the start, really did not like the way her father controlled her and as much as I don't wish murder on anyone losing her father allowed her to grow and find herself. Also it was great to have Walter and his band of friends featuring yet again and i'm looking forward to the other series based in this valley Eastby end. However before going onto that i'm going to try the music hall series, as a fan of singing I think this series sounds just like my kind of thing.

I am highly recommending this authors books. Until I started getting into her books starting with Ellandale saga and if you've not read that please do, i was not a fan of historical fiction however her books have got me really interested. Josephine cox writes similar books to Anna Jacobs and i've been into her also for a long time as well so this is quickly becoming one of my favourite Jonras.

Set in 19th century Lancashire this is a tale of struggles, hope, community and so much love. I was drawn into the story from page one and really liked the main character, Abigail. She has had a restrictive upbringing by her domineering father but when he is murdered she has to continue alone but from being a quiet, reserved woman she begins to blossom and on meeting Rufus who helped with the renovation of her home the two of them come to an arrangement to help one another. Does this develop into something more? You will have to read to find out. There are many likeable, kind characters in the book who all watch out for one another as they unite to improve their village and the lives of its residents. There is one evil individual, however, whose actions keep the storyline tense and unpredictable. All in all a cracking book that I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend. My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an early copy which I happily and voluntarily review.

I love Anna's books and this next one in Jubilee Lake series.

Poor Abigail kept down by her father and wasn't allowed to meet anyone or have friends. Her father was a very secretive man and we find out why.

When circumstances changed, she met up with Rufus and was able to change her life. We meet up with Walter Crossley again who finds his soul mate.

I'm looking forward to the next one, let's get the Jubilee celebrations underway.!@

This is number three in the series and as delightful as the first two.
It is a heartwarming story about the care and support of the community—lovely characters with beautiful scenery that is so well written that you can imagine yourself there. I very much enjoyed this saga from the first to the last page. It had weddings, funerals, and a good old sneaky thug, everything you can want from a good story.

Yet another winner for Anna Jacobs

How nice it is to follow the lives of the same people through a series of books. Lovely gentle stories, no violence, no swearing - what a treat. Can't wait for Anna's next series, set in a village close to this one. No doubt several of the characters will reappear.

This was my favourite in the trillogein fact I struggled to put it down. So why not 5 stars just one thing. So many times a character woukd explain something to a another character a few chokers later another person would then explain it to another character and it started getting relative. However I was hooke Don this book

is. there a sequel

Loved finding out how it all pans out for the villagers and see how it’s coming back to life as more newcomers arrive and seeing how they fit in. I feel their stories are still unfinished so I am hoping there is a sequel . Good easy reading

A nice entertaining story with endearing characters. I understand that it's book 3 of a saga so I've obviously just come in on the end part. It's an easy read, in fact I finished it quite quickly which is proof of the entertainment value.
