This is a beautiful cookbook from Melbourne-based chef Jung Eun Chae, featuring many recipes for fermented foods and other traditional Korean preparations. The cover is simple and lovely and the photography throughout the book conveys the rustic and comforting appeal of the dishes. Chef Jung Eun Chae's food is clearly a labour of love! I am very glad I found this cookbook and can't wait to try some of the recipes. I look forward to trying to make my own meju and persimmon vinegar, and expanding my repertoire of kimchi (pomegranate? yes please!)
