I have enjoyed this series, getting to know the Mustang Mountain guys. Dean's book also introduces you to his brother, Six, the main character of the first book of the new series.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Dean and Holly met when he goes to the shelter to help with decorations for Christmas. Dean offers his families cabin for Holly and her two kids, Max who's six and Gracie who's four. After Dean picks up some things from the Mercantile he heads to the shelter making sure no one is following him. When Courtney June is for Jensen tells him about Holly and her two kids Dean feels like he needs to protect them. When Holly finds out her friend who was going to take her in seen one of the Savage Bone parked watching her house, she takes Dean up on his offer. After Holly packs her things and her kids, Jensen and Dean come up with how to get her and her kids out of the shelter without anyone seeing them. After Dean and Jensen tell Holly how they are going to get them to her cabin, she reassures her kids. When they arrive at the cabin, Dean reassures Holly there's plenty for the kids to do to keep them busy. Dean gives everyone a job to do while him and Max goes out and gets some wood for the fireplace. Soon they have the cabin all cleaned up, and have dinner heating up. Dean asks Max and Gracie if they want to go out and get a real Christmas tree. Once they have the Christmas tree back at the cabin they all help Dean putting it up. Dean tells them they'll decorate it tomorrow. Before they have dinner Dean suggest to Holly to give the kids a bath, they both protest. Dean tells them they do things differently here, they don't have a lot of hot water, so it needs time to reheat. After they have dinner they all watch a Christmas movie. When the kids fall asleep during the movie Dean helps Holly get them to bed. Holly has a hard time falling asleep but soon the sun is up. Max and Gracie run and jump into bed with Holly, and she hears Dean making breakfast. When breakfast is done Dean suggest to Holly to get ready since his brother will be here soon. When Dean's brother Six January's Ride with Six comes he brings them pizza, and a few groceries, Christmas items and toys. Holly suggests that her kids take a nap, she knows she needs to have this conversation with Dean and Six. Holly explains to Dean and Six that her stepdad is after her, because he thinks she overheard him when he was having a conversation. Holly didn't hear what he said but he doesn't believe her. Her stepdad grabbed her and shoved her into his office, yelling at her, then he put a gun to her head, and told her if she spoke a word about what she heard he'd kill her and her children. After Holly agreed he shoved her and hit the corner of the cabinet busting her lip open. Holly didn't know what to do so she grabbed her kids and ran. Six tells Holly that they are going to do whatever they can to protect her and her children. Right now they have an advantage, they don't know she's with them. Holly asks them what does she do now, and Six tells her to stay with Dean, and they'll work on getting information on the Savage Bones. The next morning Holly screams and wakes Dean up, running out of his room he finds her staring out the back door. When Dean comes up behind her he wraps his arms around her. Dean tells her it's okay, it's just Hades, Holly asks him how it's going to be okay she has a wolf staring at her. Dean tells Holly how Hades is the mascot of Mustang Mountain looking out for everyone. Dean looks for some food for Hades and then asks Holly if she want to feed Hades. After they feed Hades he runs off into the woods. Dean suggest they have a snow day with the kids after breakfast. They spend the morning building snowman and having snowballs fights. Then they head inside to warm up, after they eat lunch, the kids take a nap. Dean and Holly sit on the couch, she asks him about his childhood growing up at the cabin. Dean asks Holly about her childhood, she tells him about growing up in New York City, then when her parents divorced she moved to Denver with her mom. When they kids wake up Dean teaches them his mom's secret recipes to make the worlds best hot chocolate. After they have hot chocolate they take the kids outside to burn off some of their energy. After dinner and the kids are ready for bed, they pass out even before the movie begins. After Dean and Holly get the kids in bed, they head outside with an electric blanket to keep warm. They sit in comfortable silence, and Holly slips her hand into Dean's. Dean and Holly kiss, the kiss is soft and sweet. When Holly wakes the next morning Dean is already up making breakfast. After breakfast Dean asks Max to help him replenish their stash of wood, then they'll make Christmas cookies. Holly and Gracie stay at the cabin and do each other's nails. When Dean and Max return with plenty of wood, they work on Christmas cookies. After cookies are made, they work on dinner, Dean tells the kids after they have dinner they'll work on decorating the tree. Dean puts on some Christmas music while they decorate the Christmas tree. After the kids are in bed, Dean and Holly sit on the couch, he tells her what a great day he had. Dean asks Holly if she'd like something to drink. They sit and sip their drinks and Dean wraps his arm around Holly. They begin kissing, but Dean suggest they head to the bedroom. Holly follows him and Dean lays her down on the bed, then joins her and pulls her into his arms. When Holly slips her hand under Dean's shirt he stops her and tells her he's not sleeping with her tonight, because when he does he wants her to remember every detail. Dean finds out that Holly is turned on so he asks her if she wants him to make her come. Dean pleasures Holly, then lays beside her cuddling together. Dean wakes the next morning with Holly pleasuring him, he pulls her to him and then pleasures her before they make love. Dean tells her he loves her and Holly tells him she loves him. Dean tells her he wants to marry her and be a family. Holly can't believe what he just said so he tells her again. Dean asks her to marry him and she tells him yes. Dean tells Holly about his cabin, then she tells him when it's safe she'll look for a job. Dean tells her there's no rush he makes plenty of money, so he wants her to find a job she loves to do. Soon there's a pounding at the door, Dean goes to answer it but tells Holly to head to the kids bedroom. Dean comes to tell Holly it's his brother Six. After the kids get dressed they head outside to play in the snow. Six tells Holly that his stepdad disappeared after he put her mother in the hospital. Holly tells Dean and Six she wants to go see her mom, they tells her that's what her stepdad wants her to do. Holly wants them to use her as bait but they both tells her no. Six finds out that Dean asked Holly to marry him, then tells them that the Mustang Rider are coming up with a plan. Taking a moment for herself, Holly steps out of the cabin, she soon realizes what she needs to do. Holly writes a note, but hides it under the mattress out of sight. After lunch, they all take a nap. After Dean falls asleep, Holly slips out of bed, leaving the note for Dean to find. Holly bundles herself up and heads out taking the snow covered path towards the gravel road. As she gets further the sky grows dark and a snowstorm pops up, Holly can no longer see the road. Soon Holly can't see, she has no idea which directions she should head, turning back to find the cabin she can't find her footprints. Holly can no longer feel her hands or feet anymore. When her foot hits a branch, her vision blurs but she catches sight of a wolf, and realizes it's Hades. Dean's woken up by someone pounding on the door, he rolls to reach for Holly but the bed is cold. Getting up he answer the door to find his brother, when Dean heads back to find Holly he finds her note and realizes she left to go see her mom. Dean gets ready to head out and when he steps outside finds Hades. Dean follows Hades into the woods, soon he finds Holly in the snow. Dean wraps Holly up in a blanket and carries her back to the cabin. When Dean gets back to the cabin he takes Holly inside to his bedroom. Dean undresses her and then himself, he lays in bed with her trying to get her warmed back up. Six brings them an electric blanket, and soon Holly is waking back up. Six leaves them to make some soup and hot tea. Holly tells Dean she doesn't know what would have happened if he didn't find her, he tells her he'll always find her. After Holly's strength returns they have a lot to talk about, but for now he's happy she's back and safe. A few hours later, Dean and Six have a plan for Holly to see her mom. A few of the Mustang Mountain Men along with Dean and Six escort Holly to see her mom. They make it to her mom's room, the doctors come in and tell Holly what is going on with her mom. When her mom asks who Dean is, Holly tells her it's her fiancé. Dean and Holly find out that they caught her stepdad and the police have him in custody. When Holly's mom isn't sure she wants to file charges, Holly tells her that she'll never see her grandkids or her again. Her mom agrees to press charges, the next few days fly by in a blur. When her mom is released from the hospital she goes into the woman's shelter. With Holly's stepdad in custody they were able to attached him to several more crimes. With Holly's mom doing well, Dean and her decide they want to be married before the end of the year. Dean heads to the mercantile to talk to Ruby. When he gets there, Ruby doesn't know anything about this. Ruby agrees to help anyway she can. Dean hates to admit that Ruby can add another win to her books, but he wouldn't change a thing, it brought him his family.

A remote cabin at Christmas
December is for Dean is the twelfth book in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. This time Ruby has chosen Dean to be the bachelor of the month as she is now 11 for 11 in her monthly matchmaking, and she is going to broke with Dean. Dean is a computer programmer who lives alone in a remote cabin. He was born and grew up on Mustang Mountain and his older brother and parents are still there also. Dean volunteers when needed with the women's shelter and has been asked to pick up groceries and Christmas trees to bring up there for the women and children. Holly is staying at the shelter with her two young children, Max and Gracie. She is a widow but there is a connection to the Savage Bones MC through her step-father, and there is something he thinks she overheard which has put a target on her back. When the motorcycles are driving by the shelter more often everyone knows that it is time for Holly and the kids to get somewhere else that is safer. But with nothing available, and her last hope of her best friend now being watched, Dean offers his grandfather's remote hunting cabin, which no one other than his family knows where it is located. One look at Holly and Dean was on his knees and had "that look". Can Dean work his way into Holly's heart they way she and the kids have to his? Danger is still lurking and trying to catch her, but once Dean is committed he will prove that Holly and the kids are his family no matter what.
This was entertaining read with a lot of OTT mixed in with some serious moments. I loved the way the kids takes to Max and Gracie and how patient and caring he is towards them and also Holly. He proves himself, along with Hades.

Holly
I never thought I'd be homeless and running for my life with two kids in tow. I find a home at the Mustang Mountain Women's Shelter only for my past to find me and put us all in danger. Then, in walks, Dean offers my kids and me a safe place to hide, a cabin in the mountains no one knows about. I don't have a choice, but for all I know, I'm trading the devil I know for the one I don't. He isn't supposed to be sweet, caring, and good with my kids. He isn't supposed to set my body on fire with a simple touch. He isn't supposed to make me forget why I am even here, at least until news reaches us that my past has taken my mom in my place.

A nice quiet Christmas with my parents and brother is all I want after the year Mustang Mountain has had. I should have known that wasn't going to happen as soon as Ruby named me the December Mountain Man of the Month. I didn't expect the family I'd been hoping for to walk into my life or the secrets that would be chasing them. I plan on making them mine for Christmas, no matter the cost. But first, I need to teach Holly that I can't do that if she keeps trying to run from me...
This book was so good! I love all the Mustang Mountain books. There are some serious topics in this story. But it is handled very well. There is some drama, just not overwhelming drama. I loved the way Dean fell for Holly. She deserved a good man and her HEA.

Dean has to harbor Holly in his family's cabin for a while to shield her from her abusive step father and the Savage Bones MC. They fall for each other pretty quickly, and he wholeheartedly welcomes her children into his life (also how sweet is the epilogue?). Both characters were likeable and there was so much tension between them.
There is a bit of suspense and intensity to the story because Holly's mother was abused by the stepfather, and Holly almost dies of hyperthermia, which I think made it more interesting rather than just a simple insta-love story.
How is it December already? I have enjoyed this series of stories and I like that there are only 3 authors so I feel like the series is more cohesive. Some other series are very varied in terms of the plot (it could be like, only the location is the same), but differ in terms of story length, writing style, and - characters! But the Men of Mustang Mountain are a lot more complete and we see many of the characters again.
At the end of this book we are teased with the next story that will continue the issue of Savage Bones. I can't wait to read more!.

This was a sweet little holiday romance with just enough "drama" to keep the plot going. Dean was a big teddy bear. He melted over his new soon to be family. Holly was strong and sweet. She really wanted what was best for her family. Safe and happy. It was the perfect amount of spice for how long this book was. The scenes were 🔥 and well written. This was pretty much a insta-love story.

A beautiful love story for Dean and Holly. Dean, a member of the Mustang Mountain Riders, longs for a family of his own, as he volunteers his time assisting at the women’s shelter. He and other members of the Riders protect women and children who have been abused. When he learns that there is a mother and her two young children who need a safe place to stay, he offers the use of his cabin in a secluded location. He is instantly attracted to Holly and her children and vows to keep them safe from her step-father. Ever since her husband died of cancer, Holly has taken one hit after another, both emotionally and financially. She just wants she and her children to feel safe. At Dean’s cabin, she finally finds peace. Will Dean be able to protect them knowing that her step-father will not stop until he finds her. well written, full of love, intrigue, abuse, drama, suspense, steam, twists and turns. May have a few triggers for some. Holly is on the run and heads to a women's shelter to protect her children and herself. When Holly arrives with her children, Dean knows he has to help her. Dean is a member of a motorcycle club but he helps or works at the shelter. He takes Holly and the children to his cabin so that he can protect them. She is running from her step father and a rival biker. Dean tries to give the children and Holly a Christmas that he feels they desires. Both have issues that they will be able to deal with them and find a love between them. Dean is aware that his club will be able to help them and stand between anyone who wants to hurt them. Sad to read that this may be the end of the series. Must be more bikers to keep going or maybe a tell all to let us know how each of them are doing . Would recommend to all this book or the rest of series.

Dean’s story is another short, hot and spicy insta love romance. He meets Holly and her two adorable kids at the shelter. She immediately claims his heart and he offers her and her kids his family’s remote cabin as a place to hide from her stepfather and his motorcycle gang. Holly agrees to go with Dean because she doesn’t want to endanger the other women and children at the shelter. Smuggling Holly’s family out and secreting them away with Dean is carried out without a hitch. The remote setting, lots of snow and Christmas activities keep them all busy and distracted. A stolen kiss leads to a desperate need for more….. more kisses, more connection and more time together, as in years together instead of a few days or weeks. Dean is like his fellow mountain men and when he claims Holly and her kids as his own vowing to protect them and keeping them safe his top priority.

3.5 stars. Dean, the male lead, is the involuntary monthly target of the town’s matchmaker and he’s a little concerned, given the way his fellow targets have fallen throughout the year.
When he arrives with supplies at the local women’s shelter, he’s shocked to find Holly, the female lead, and her children, hiding from her bikie gang member and criminal stepdad.
As they shelter in his family’s cabin in the woods, their interactions become more intimate and personal. But can they keep her stepdad and his goons away?
This short story is dual POV, and a cute Christmas ending to a series of interconnected standalone contemporary romances that I have enjoyed this year. I enjoyed Holly’s determination to keep her family safe. I enjoyed Dean’s willingness to grasp the chance for happiness when and where he found it. I enjoyed Holly’s children.

Holly and her two kids are on the run from an evil MC that her stepfather belongs to, after she overheard a few comments she should not have heard. Dean is part of the Mustang Mountain MC and they help with trouble and abused families. He is introduced to Holly as he delivers Christmas trees for the families to decorate, and offers the three a place to stay out of sight. The storyline is heartwarming and they grow close and doing the stuff that he always hoped to see his family doing someday. Plenty of threats, protection, love, deep feelings and caring and new friendships. Even their favorite wolf helps out in a serious situation. Totally enjoyed this story and the characters are ones I will remember for quite a while. Perfect addition to the series and I hope it keeps running a long time.

It's the end of the year and the end of this series, but it's not fully over. January will begin a new spin-off series of the Mustang Mountain Riders - I can't wait!!
That said, this book was a great close to this series. We see another happy match and this time with a built in family to boot. It's got a bit of danger to it so that lends a smidgen of suspense to the tale, but it's still full of the steamy goodness you've come to expect from this series. We get cameos from a lot of the other couples from prior books and of course Ruby is up to her usual mischief. Hades is there doing his protector thing and this time he has a scene that's right out of the old TV show Lassie. It's a book that left me feeling happy and excited for the holidays and wishing I could attend a New Year's wedding.

If you enjoy a single mountain man getting a much needed early Christmas present, then you will enjoy Dean and Holly’s story. This series does not disappoint. I’m particularly fond of this one, because there is a mom and 2 kids in a protective shelter in need of a safe environment during a time when they should be enjoying the holidays, and our hero Dean is just the one to provide it. So much for avoiding Ruby’s matchmaking endeavors. As soon as Dean meets Holly, he’s toast! Read this delightful little holiday story full of Christmasy things: a warm cabin fire, children’s laughter, baking cookies, making a snowman ☃️, drinking hot chocolate and a blossoming romance. I’m gonna buy this book, because I celebrate Christmas year round and it will keep me company…all year. lol 😂

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Ruby claims him for the last month of the year, but he finds his family before she gets the chance to interfere, ahem I mean help. This is another good addition to the series. Dean has always helped out the shelter when he could. This time it's going to bring a special woman and her adorable kids into his life. Holly fled because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Luckily she learned about the women's shelter in Mustang Mountain. Dean and the men, including the MC, are going to make sure she and the kids are safe. These two fall hard and fast but there are always some doubts to be had. I enjoyed the story and the characters. I'm curious to see what Six's story and the new series brings. Good way to wrap up the year

Holly is a curvy single mom on the run. Dean is a hunky mountain mc man. When he finds out Holly and her family are in danger, he offers for her to stay at his secluded family cabin. She agrees. They all end up growing close, but what happens when Holly's past catches up? Can Dean keep her and her kids safe? The chemistry was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥! We do have some family drama but end on a very happy note. I can wait for Six and Bear's stories next!!! I love the men of Mustang Mountain!!!.

Dean and Holly and the kids Max and Gracie and Hades the wolf. Shes running from her biker family and hiding in a shelter. They bikers are getting closer and closer. They also have staked out her friends place so she cant go there. Dean who helps at the shelter offers his familys cabin that no one knows where is at. Except brother and parents of course. They become close. They all live in their fairy tale bubble. But then trouble finds them. She leaves the safety of the cabin walking towards town to get to her mother and flush out her stepfather. A storm rolls in and shes lost. Hades finds her and gets Dean. They confront their trouble. Loved this story and it looks like Six is next. Cant wait.

Finally we get Dean’s story! And I have to say it’s my favorite in series! I loved the warm and cozy family feeling it had, with just a small amount of suspense, and some nice steamy moments. Perfect for the holidays. Everything about it was perfect. And just like the last 11 books in the series I loved seeing Hades making his appearance. This series has been one of my favorites. I’ve looked forward to getting these books every month and seeing each of these guys fall in love.
I hate seeing this series come to an end, but I’m excited and happy to know we’ll be getting more from the Mustang Mountain Riders!

I read December for Dean By Kaci Rose and I absolutely loved it. Every book in this series has been amazing to read and this one wasn’t any different. Dean and Holly’s story was exciting and sweet. I loved the chemistry between them and I have to say Dean is my favorite of all the books. The way he treats Holly and her children has got to be the sweetest ever. So you have a beautiful single mother and the handsome protective alpha male with a heart of gold ,what else do you need? This is an absolute must read.

I loved this story by Kaci Rose. I have loved reading this series over the last year and the story was the perfect one to end the year. I loved every second of it. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next between Dean and Holly. Holly overheard something and is now on the run with her two children. She goes to the women’s shelter, but it isn’t long before it’s not safe there either. Dean volunteers at the shelter and agrees to help protect her. He wasn’t looking for love but he isn’t going to let Holly slip through his fingers. Will he be able to keep her safe?

Holly was on the run from her stepfather and the Savage Bones MC. She was staying at the women’s shelter in Mustang Mountain with her 2 children but knew her presence was putting the other woman at risk. Dean offered her a safe place to stay. When Dean first saw Holly at the women’s shelter he knew she was his forever but he need to keep her and her children safe. Hiding out in his family’s cabin brought them closer and soon he couldn’t hide his feelings any longer. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, a kind, loving, protective hero, danger, suspense and a wonderful HEA.

Mountain man Dean (H) is less than thrilled to find out he’s the man of the month for December and when he sees Holly (h) it looks like Ruby might just be twelve for twelve. Widow Holly and her children, Max and Gracie, are in danger thanks to her stepdad who runs with the Savage Bones MC, and Dean suggests they should leave the women’s shelter and come to stay in safety at his remote mountain cabin. Dean is great at caring for Gracie and Max, even as he and Holly begin to connect with one another. Lovely mountain man, single mom Christmastime romance with lots of love and a bit of danger.

Ride along for the action with the Mustang Mountain MC as they go up against a rival MC to protect a woman and her children that sought help from the local women's shelter. Dean took them to his family's private cabin in the mountains, where they soon gave into the overwhelming attraction from the moment they met. No one knows why the Savage Bones MC wants to move in to the Mustang Mountain MC territory so keep alert they may have got part of the members, but I'm sure there's more to come.

This is a quick, well written and easily read book from Kaci Rose in this enjoyable series, and as is obvious from the title has a Christmas theme. Holly and her two young children have escaped from a bad situation, and need somewhere to hide - Dean comes up with an answer and as well as protecting them temporarily he discovers he wants them to stay in his life permanently. Will things work out the way he wants?.
