Where do you go when you can’t run away?

Lara doesn’t trust herself and Morgan can’t remember when he trusted anyone.

They were sailing smoothly toward each other on a sweet voyage of discovery. Then Morgan got knocked back by a wave of panic from his past that he never got to explain.

A freak encounter with a thousand pound fish left Morgan delirious and Lara even more confused. The demons that swirl around his fevered head hint at a hell Lara is afraid to understand.

Stuck on a boat with a wounded man she no longer thinks she knows, Lara’s convinced she’s added another sad page to her book of mistakes.

Things are progressing after getting Morgan back on his feet. When the drama doesn't end. As this couple does the dance and emotional volleyball that comes from being in a new relationship. I love that the author is giving them time and incidents, challenges, newness to stretch the bonds of their relationship. They are working through their past and making room for their present and all of the adjustments that go with it. While there is more passion and hot scenes in this book of the series we are still given a great story with deep emotional juggling to work through.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Of course I'd recommend this to a friend because its a wonderful story and an awesome narration.

What did you like best about this story?
Just like any story for me there is no one point that I love its all the parts of the story that make it great.

Have you listened to any of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
They performed as I have come to know that they will which is always amazing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I am not 100% sure if i listened to this all at once or life got in the way but it was pretty close if I didn't

Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this book just the same as Hooked. The drama and escape from reality was wonderful. The hints of reality that pop up are a great spice to the story and not overwhelmingly intrusive into the dream painted bu the words and Kai and Wen's voices. Mrs.D will forever be my favorite character with her adorable ways. Wen and Kai pulled off another amazing performance and continually create something amazing with their voices alone.

This as an awesome story of finding each other and getting past demons laid to rest. Morgan has been abused and Lara needs some time to come to grips with this information. He is also recovering from a near death experience with a swordfish and infection. Enter his uber rich father and he has the trifecta of stress. This book is so full of up and downs it's hard to out down. Now that I have finished it I must read the next one.

Wicked by K.C. Falls was another great book in the series. Throughout this series I fell in love with Morgan and Lara. They are a couple that you hope will change each others life. Although they both have some pretty intense issues, you want to see them together and happy. I can't wait o see them come closer together and I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

Interesting story! The characters could be more finely drawn. I found it difficult to buy into some of the abrupt changes in attitude and behavior, but that aside, very entertaining.

OMG this was an amazing second book, not sure why I waited so long to read it. It had it all, the angst, the hot sex, the confused heroine, death, and love.
