Her popular sweet romance series, Sweetwater County (rated for all audiences and enjoyed by over a million readers), is a small-town romance full of family trials, friendly competition, and community love.
I've been loving the Sweetwater County series, and this one was my favorite to date! I've been reading them out of order because I've done all the Holiday ones 1st, and it seems to be fine done this way. This was a bit Christmas-y, but not too much. I just love this town and the characters are FANTASTIC. It's a good, clean romance series... and not at all cheesy or silly. This one had a bit of mystery in it as well. I can't wait to continue on!
I have read all of Sweetwater county I loved each one so full of love and life of a town that embraced all people from all walks of life as long as they wanted to be love.
A little complex, this is really two stories that involve one man - Devon. Devon is new to Sweetwater. He's looking for his daughter - Becca. She's 19 and ran away when she was 18. Becca knows Devon isn't her biological father and thinks he's lied to her for years about it. She's hurt and angry and doesn't want to talk to him. Cathy is a bit of a busybody, but she gets involved in everyone's live because she cares. The people of Sweetwater love her and she's done so much to help the town people tend to just accept her as is. Devon falls for her because she's feisty and gives him a hard time. Once she's assured of his sincerity with respect to Becca, she offers to help him.

Enter into this picture Devon's ex. A conniving woman who also happens to be an ex-con. She walked out on their family many years ago and filed for divorce a year after leaving. When she crashes a fundraiser event and announces that Devon is still married to her and that he's not Becca's bio father, it's like a bomb going off and the results aren't pretty.
I really enjoyed this book and liked the way the characters were portrayed. The stories intertwined and were resolved by the end of the book avoiding any cliffhangers. I haven't read any of the other Sweetwater books but might after the holidays.

Sweetwaters resident busybody/matchmaker Cathy Mitchell finally gets her own romance. Devon is in town to reunite with his daughter after a misunderstanding during his divorce. When his ex wife appears just as everything seems to be coming together problems arise. Ciara weaves this story together beautifully.. as she does all her books. I would recommend this sweet romance for all.
The story of Devon and Cathy proved that no matter your past you're never too old for true love. The proofreading could have been better as there were several misspellings.
I think this is the fifth or sixth in the Sweetwater series I’ve read and love it as much as the rest. Thank goodness for the box of tissues permanently beside me; I’m a sucker for romances.
Cute short cosy type read. Every small town has at least one female that sets the standards for the whole town. Some of them make lives unbearable. However our main character flips back and forth, maining because she really does care. This clean read happens during the Christmas season.
This is the first story I have read in this series, and I totally enjoyed it. I liked how Cathy finally figures out, with the help of her friends, that she doesn't have to do everything for things to get done. I thought it was great that she had a heart of gold and didn't realize she was overstepping until it was pointed out to her. There are a lot of interesting characters, some drama along with some romance. Nice ending too.
I just finished reading Christmas in Sweetwater County and I loved that Cathy finally has something good happen to her. You started out really disliking her in the first book but that changes over the series. Ms. Knight has a real talent bringing the characters and the town of Creekside to life. You find yourself routing for them to have a happy ending as they go through their personal issues. The tragedies that happen to the town and the inhabitants are made real and don't seem to be farfetched. I especially like that the idea of true love that intertwines the story lines in a believable way. Reading this one at Christmas time reminds me of the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Where in both stories, the characters come to believe that they play an important part of their community. It made me think about my own life and how we affect those around us, just a thought.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turn. Love how it brought everything around at the end and allows for the characters to continue to evolve and grow. Can't wait to read the next book.
I love this series. Each book just gets better. Cathy is one of my favorite busy body with a heart of gold who know what she wants. She know how to get things done. Finally she gets to have some of the happiness that she had brought to those she calls friend.
Another great edition in the Sweetwater series. This time was Cathy's turn and as she is one of my favourite characters I was pleased to see her find love. As usual the storyline is a little predictable, far fetched and very sweet but if I wanted anything else I would not be reading this so it hit the spot.
