'My first and last love' and 'A husband for Christmas' are shorts that show that love knows no time lapse or bounds. Women who had given up on love...and also lost loves find themselves embracing the unknown as the holiday season approaches.

Both shorts were fast reads. I enjoyed 'My first and last love' more because the plot was better developed and the interactions between characters were better. 'A husband for Christmas' had a unique plot but I felt more could have been done with it. I was looking for more drama and suspense from both of the shorts. Also a big pet peeve of mine is lack of character description. I kept waiting to hear what characters in both of the shorts looked like but that never really happeed. I really would have like a better visual as I pictured the plot unfolding with them in my mind.

This rating is for My First and Last Love. This story needed some editing. It was just a little lackluster for me.
