"Djinn and Bare It" was absolute Monster Mate Mayhem... I'm already familiar with the writing style of this author through one of her other pen names, but I have to admit she even went a step further with the storyline this time. The humor, the spice, the twists, ... All of it was just a tad bit more than what I'm used to, or maybe I should say she went for it a little faster. This author has a knack for picking out paranormal species, and paint the downsides to their characteristics in a fun and bittersweet way. As a result, our Djinn is easy to fall in love with.
Even though this book is short, it wasn't that hard to fall in love with Roam and Genie from the start, and start rooting for their HEA. I'm not always a fan of instalove, but this was a fun and loving standalone, and the perfect book to read as a quick palate cleanser. There is even a nice surprise at the end of this book that I'm not going to spoil for you!
If you're looking for something fun and short that will put a smile on your face, I can definitely recommend this book!
