Cancel your weekend plans - you won’t stop reading!

From the very first page, this book entirely consumes you. You are not able to put it down. You think you know what is going on, but you have no idea. Raf Lindia masterfully plants the seeds and drops the crumbs for a shocking finale that you definitely do not expect. The book also pulls at your heart as it shines a light on the invisibility of psychological abuse. It’s hard for me to decide which book I love more, Raf Lindia’s last release, A One Way Ticket, or this one. The stories couldn’t be more different, but in both books the author shares a deep message inside a page-turning thriller that keeps you hooked. I cannot wait for his next one!

This is an excellent psychological thriller. The story of a toxic mother/daughter relationship. It's a short and easy read but intense.

This book was definitely interesting and kept me guessing. I will say, my only criticism is that some of the years were getting confused and the timeline wasn’t always consistent. But that may be a translation error. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.
